No, no, no... you use the blinkies as a signalling device. If the blinkies are flashing (just tap your feet up and down), it's time for dh (or anyone else who is handy) to refill your drink. No need to ask, no need to walk.

I love this idea! For me lets substitute Margarita or the like as I don't like pineapple or rum (isn't that what's in a konk?).

Well everyone, it's been fun. When DH gets home, I'm officially dead meat. I have this thing about cutting Emma's hair. Since only her bangs get cut, there's no need for me to go to a professional right? I'm a smart, crafty person, and I cut my own bangs (when I had them) for years. So I decided today would be a good day to give Em a haircut. 5 weeks before her bday, 6 weeks before Disney, she'll still be able to get a haircut at the MK. Well, Emma's bangs are BUTCHERED!! I'm not entirely sure what happened And I'm really not sure how I'm going to cover it up within the next 2 hours!

Oh NO!!! I've only attempted to trim Emily's bangs once. I did ok, but I was SO nervous. Lucky for me, we're close enough that all of Emily's haircuts have been at the Magic Kingdom.

Anyway, you may not be able to fix it in 2 hours, but they should grow out between now & her birthday party and the cruise.

And, as an avid scrapbooker, you should take a picture and make a layout of the "disaster".

We are actually staying at the Royal Pacific at Universal before the cruise. We will go to DTD for the party. I can't wait. This is our first time in FL with a car. We always fly, and have the town car, so this will be an experience. We are saving WDW for after the cruise.

Blinkies are flip flops! The straps light up when you walk. They are on clearance at walmart for $5. Here's a pic.

That's how I got the name Shrek feet. My GIANT blinkies!

Last year, we got lucky and were 3rd in line. This year, we have 8am PS at the Crystal Palace, so hopefully, we'll get in and out of there and be able to make our way to the Barbershop! Julia needs hers cut, and I'm not cutting it until she gets her ears!!

Most of the time, we are usually not too far back in line. We never go later in the day, always first thing in the morning. Maura is our favorite. Emily LOVES to have her hair cut by Maura. And, Madison got her ears last weekend and she did SO well!!!

You guys sure are chatty.
I love WalMart and dont have too much luck at Target.
We live about 1/2 a mile from a WalMart market, which is a little version of a grocery store.
We spend a lot of money there, because its so convienent.
Our schedule stink and we will probably be leaving Memphis Friday evening or early Sat morning.
We're driving and its about a 12 hour drive.
How did we find out we were having a priate party on this cruise?

Bummer, on 9/3 the early Delta Flight, that we were going to standby for, has been canceled. This will put us in too late to make it to PI for the pre cruise meet.

Anyone else going to be at the Holiday Inn Express in Coco??? Hey I could Captain the ship as I did stay at the Holiday Inn Express. I think I would wear more than a towel.

Anyone want to get up realy, early to see the Wonder pull into the port??? I don’t know if Lynn will let me do this.

So, what's everyone doing on Saturday before the PI party. Our plan is to leisurely make our way over to Orlando from St. Pete. We're checking into BCV and plan to play in Stormalong for most of the morning and early afternoon. We'll probably just have lunch at Beaches & Cream. Then, we'll try to get the girls to take a nap and then head over to Downtown Disney. Then, we have PS for O'hana at 7:10pm and we'll watch fireworks from the Poly.

I figured that was a leisurely way to spend the day before the cruise.

TnRobin-when you do a one way rental where do you rent from in the WDW area?

I know there are a few hotels that have rental car pick-up sights-but which ones. I was thinking of a one-way rental also as I plan to try the "Magical"
transportation provided free to the resort when we fly in. That will be weird-we always have a car.

Oh I forgot to tell you all what I bought yesterday when I was at Office Max.

I bought a 3 ring binder with Mickey on the front, a matching folder that I'll use in the binder so it will have pockets and a matching spiral notebook. Since I keep a binder for my trips I decided I would use this for my trip planning binder. It is so darn cute

Gail - that sounds so cute! We use a 3 ring binder that have a clear pocket on the front and then we do a different print out for each trip. We're using the binder we used last year for Member Homecoming so I need to do a new front for this trip.

Scott - sorry to hear you won't be able to make the party. Too bad you weren't on our December cruise - one of the guys was looking to have someone get up early and watch the Magic come in.
