Sept 4-8 2005 Wonder S.S. Member Cruise! Part 2

OMG - I was starting to go into DIS board withdrawal. Our internet connection was down all morning. YIKES!!! That is like torture for me!!!

Well, my house is somewhat clean, but my office/scrapbook room is still a disaster (think Clean Sweep)!! Chris comes home tonight, sometime around midnight. I need to call my sister to find out when they are pulling into port in Norfolk.

Well, back to cleaning up my scrap space mess!!!

Clean Sweep - I love that show! I have a few rooms that need it but nothing like the people on that show. They have to make it extra messy for the cameras. I can't believe anyone would let their room get that bad. Even our computer room which is by far the messiest in the house (and the one we spend the most time in) doesn't look that bad.

Mine was too! It just came up again. That's weird, because I have Road Runner and it never goes down. I was up at 5am and couldn't sleep, so I came here, and I couldn't get anywhere! I didn't know what to do with myself!!

Oh no, our office/scrapbook room is just like those on Clean Sweep. There are piles of stuff EVERYWHERE!! But, I'm making my way through them all, slowly but surely!!!

I am starting to feel left out because I don't have blinkies. Do they even make blinkies in size 12? I think I might have to go to Wal-mart to check them out. I have 2 pair of crocks. I have the cayman in purple and the nile in emerald. I have lived in the nile all summer. I do have a pair of niles in blue, size large (womans 10 - 11) that are too small. I am going to list them on e-bay but if someone is intersted in them let me know. I am also waiting for the athens to come out. They are crocs but in flip-flops.

I would go during the day today, but I've been watching one of the little girls from Emily's preschool class. And, even though I've asked her mother all summer long to bring me a carseat, just in case we need to go somewhere, she still hasn't.

Speaking of this same little girl, what are some kids thinking sometimes?!?!?! Emily has one of those little candy necklace kits from the Disney Store. She wanted to share some of the candy with Olivia. So, I told them that they could have 2 little pieces of candy apiece. Well, all of a sudden, I hear this crying from Olivia. She has proceeded to put one of the pieces of candy up her nose!! She got it out, but was crying uncontrollably and continued to stick her finger in her nose (because it probably hurt). What are 3 yr olds thinking sometimes?!?!?!?

Just got in! Had a great cruise. Emily cleared the way for us.We had great weather! But had to race Franklyn back to NY.
What is a blinkie? I'm so far behind!! You guys where very busy!!
I'm going to try to get back on to read all of the missed post. Got to go do the washing.

Welcome back! Glad you had great weather. Blinkies are these flip flops that they have in Walmart. The strap parts are actually tubes that have lights in them and they blink when you walk! They are on clearance at WM for $5. Although, someone, not mentioning any names here....got them for her perfect feet on super clearance for $2.50.

I have no idea when the athens are going to come out. It was advertised as the middle of July and now on the website there is no timeframe. I would really like to get them.

I'm the same way! I don't walk well in flip-flops, I'm normally more of a flats, kind-of-girl, but I have to be part of the blinkie group!!!
