Mark, Thanks for explaining the attachment method, I was struggeling with that.

When looking for the Flashy Flippy Floppy Thingies, go to the Walmart shoe section, find the flip flops, look for a pair with a tube like top piece. hold high in the air. Drop to the floor and look for the flashes.

Thanks Mark that makes total sense .............. Now!

Those Flashy Flippy Floppy Thingies are actually really cute! I thought that the foot part lite up like kids tennis shoes. I normally don't go to Wal-Mart, but it looks like I will have to go check these out! Pretty Cool!

So Diana what size are those Flippy Flops...........Shaq size!!!!! :rotfl: Did you post that picture with out your dh knowing what you were doing. Can't have you being hauled off this close to the cruise............by the way, I bet they don't serve Konk Koolers there!

Ok so now I have to make a detour to WalMart tomorrow morning on the way to work to see if I can buy blinky flip flops.

I'm sorry everyone, I won't be making the cruise....DH has officially declared me insane and in desperate need of help. It started out by telling him about the fish extenders. His response---who the heck is going to leave us a message on the ship?? Why would anyone possibly need that?? Then I come home with flip flops and take pictures......sorry guys....it was nice knowing you all!!

In case anyone is wondering

a) where you can buy lime green zip ties

and

b) why we have lime green zip ties

a) Home Depot - home of the lime green Mickey Heads. Someone high up at Home Depot must be a DISer. :)

b) When we fly we use zip ties to keep our luggage closed. Mark has sewn on lime green handle covers and we use lime green zip ties. Very easy to find our luggage and very easy to find if our luggage has been opened.

Diana - don't scare us like that. Come on show him the web page he'll see we aren't all

Assure him you will be in good company on the cruise. Since you are cruising with this whole gang you won't look as insane as he thinks you are.

Here's what we will do............we'll all come by your cabin through out the 4 days and leave you a note in your fish extender, we could bring fruit from the Beach Blanket Buffet too.

HA HA and we'll all be sure to call your DH by name the entire cruise and act like we've known him forever - now who will be looney?

Or we could leave sugar packets, hand wipes, and swizzle sticks and then he would know we are nuts!

Something tells me that Diana isn't going to share her cabin # with us for fear of what she will find in her fish extender

er, too late! :rolleyes1

Door sign question - we found some magnet paper this weekend (Avery), however, it appears from the packaging that the sheets are not full 8 1/2 by 11 but instead 4 magnets of 3 1/2 by 4 7/8 size. Is the page already perferated or can we actually do full size?

They're probably microperforated. The ones we have are Avery #3270, called 'Inkjet Magnet Sheets' and are full 8 1/2x11 sheets.

Great.....now he's questioning why I'm laughing so hard I'm crying! :rotfl2: You guys are all great! I can't wait to cruise!!

Mark--any chances of getting my cabin number taken off all your lists? :rolleyes1

Umm.... nope! But bribes of virgin Konk Kooler will be accepted... ;)

Look who spent the longest time catching up now. :wave2: Wow! Things have been busy here.

I have to get to WalMart. I'm thinking about going right now to get my blinky blinky flops. It might just be empty enough that I could actually drop them on the floor to see which ones work. I certainly don't want to look like a fool doing that with all those shoppers around. (I won't say where I got that idea ;) :rolleyes1 ). Let me think a couple of minutes.....what else "might" we need for that vacation of ours in a couple of days. :rotfl2:

I have the same magnetic paper as Mark. The only thing I noticed was it's really very thin. I asked about that on the magnetic door sign thread (over on the cruise board) and people said that although it's thin, it is strong enough to be secured to the door. Other's are using magnetic strips on laminated paper. I think that might be a bit thick. I don't know because I've never seen the doors.

For anyone whose thinking about signs (Diana -- hint, hint), you might want to take a look at that thread for ideas.

I've read it....over and over again. I need to get DDs bday invites in the mail this week (I know tomorrow is Friday!)....after that it's door sign making 24/7.

So, I looked like a fool in Walmart! But I sucked it up for the team....and came back with a picture so none of you have to look as crazy as I did. And yes, the shoe dept had at least 6 people in it who just looked at me and moved on.

That's the team spirit. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Way to go, Diana, way to go!!

I'm off to WalMart. I just remembered, we bought two kites for HH (for a $1 each :rotfl2: ) that won't fit into our suitcases. Since we'll never use them here, they HAVE to be returned. I know, lame excuse, but an excuse anyway. :teeth:

Boy, oh boy! We went out for dinner and I had 3 pages to read.

Diana - I love the flip flops. Very cute!! My problem is that I HATE to go into our Walmart. It's a Super Walmart and it's ALWAYS packed!! It's open 24 hours, but I that Chris would think that I was  if I went now. Maybe I'll take the girls this weekend while Chris is sailing around with the Navy.

Mark - Thanks for the explanation of everything. I appreciate your work on the buttons and I know that you don't expect anything. I'm giving a little gift, because I gave the same little gift on my Cruisetoberfest II (2003) cruise. It's not a big deal, just something little that just for my DIS friends.
