HA HA and we'll all be sure to call your DH by name the entire cruise and act like we've known him forever - now who will be looney?

The thing is DH is SOOOO super shy that I guarantee you won't hear him say more than 10 words the entire cruise. You guys are going to scare the heck out of him!! :scared1:

Look who spent the longest time catching up now. :wave2: Wow! Things have been busy here.

I have to get to WalMart. I'm thinking about going right now to get my blinky blinky flops. It might just be empty enough that I could actually drop them on the floor to see which ones work. I certainly don't want to look like a fool doing that with all those shoppers around.

See Cindy, there's really no way you can go to HH and keep up with what is going on here on the thread. Now I, on the other hand, have a laptop computer, and am willing to make a great sacrifice for your well-being. I will go to HH instead, and just keep up with the board from my lounge chair by the computer.

No no... I know what you're thinking... no need to thank me for my generosity. That's just the kind of person I am. PM me, and we'll arrange a conference call to change the reservation with MS. :flower:

Oh, and as for WalMart... just do what I did, and move to a new town where nobody knows you... then you can drop all the flip flops you want!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Maybe I'll take the girls this weekend while Chris is sailing around with the Navy.

:boat:THE NAVY??? DID YOU SAY NAVY???? :boat:

hmmm... guess I shouldn't mention the goat we have hanging in a noose off a door. Mental Note: Have dh pick up Army propaganda so I can throw it in a certain persons fish extender... :fish: :rolleyes1

I'm afraid to go to bed! When I wake up tomorrow I may have 15 pages to read!

You found out my plan :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Glad you are enjoying it. Have you shared it with the kids yet?
Not yet, they are off camping. When they return I know they will want it.

Door sign question - we found some magnet paper this weekend (Avery), however, it appears from the packaging that the sheets are not full 8 1/2 by 11 but instead 4 magnets of 3 1/2 by 4 7/8 size. Is the page already perferated or can we actually do full size?

The smaller magnets might be fun to use. You could make mini signs for everyone in your stateroom. I made a sign for my brother's door on our cruise last February. It was his 50th birthday. When I figure out how to post it I will. I used one 8 1/2 x 11 sheet and then on another 8 1/2 x 11 sheet I printed some of his baby and school pictures. I then used my oval cutter and cut them out and stuck them around the full sheet. Having the 4 magnets to a page might have been easier for the pictures.

Looks like Diana is going to make it a DIS slumber party tonight.

Can you imagine what Cindy is going to have to wade through when she gets back after a week  She'll need another vacation just to catch up.

Thanks Mark, I knew I could count on you to help the cause ;)

Mark - I'm glad you made the comments you did and I appreciate your candor.

Now on to other things...

I just seem to giggle like crazy when I see the words "fish extender" I think it's kinda cool we have our own lingo! Which brings me to my next point...

Diana your DH and my DBF sound like the cookie cutter version of each other. I'm not even telling him about the "fish extender" (tee hee) until I unwrap it in the cabin (we live in different houses so it won't be hard to hide it until then). I've already sent him "overboard" w/ the BINDER, magnets, DIS shirt, etc.

Diana, wouldn't it be funny if we were at the same table in the dinning rooms? :goodvibes I wonder what the chances are of any DISers sitting together since there's quite a bit?!?!?

:blush:Whoops, excuse me, Sorry, Calling Liferbabe delete your pms ! Sorry, didnt mean to interfare.... carry on.... :flower3:

Actually, my DH is an ARMY man himself. He is going on a tiger cruise with my BIL (my sister's DH) this weekend. He loves to give my BIL a hard time about joining the NAVY.

Actually, Diana and I already linked our dinner reservations together. We figured that since we both had very young kids, that if we sat together, then no one would have to endure our girls' outrageous dinner behavior (like throwing sippy cups on the floor, eating crayons, etc).

Now, my DH is the total opposite. Maybe he can get Diana's DH out of his shell?!?!?!

Oh good... no need to brainwash on the cruise ;)

Sounds good Amy. And, I much as I "love" kids I deal w/ other people's children all day so sitting w/o them at dinner wouldn't be terrible ::yes:: Actually when I was in Disney in March, DBF's friend's brought their 4 year old son and it was kinds fun seeing everything through his eyes...but now that you mention it, dinner was always a tough time for hime behavior wise but we managed.

No problem. DH went on his first tiger cruise last year and had a blast getting to shoot the big NAVY guns. But, absolutely loves to give my BIL the toughest time about joining the NAVY. However, he does love going on these tiger cruises.

No problem. I was going to offer for you and your DBF to join us. The more the merrier. But, I can totally understand if no one would want to sit with 4 girls under 4. That's why Diana and I linked our ressies.

And you're prob. at the first seating right? I have the 8:30PM one. Next time I guess : )

Just back from WalMart -- why oh why do I bother going there. :confused3 The 12 items or less line took 10 minutes to get through. Only 3 people ahead of me. If it wasn't for the blinky blink flip flops, I would have walked out. But, I did get them. ::yes:: Mary (wdwlvr) if your Walmart is like mine, they are not marked as clearance but do come up $5.

When looking for the Flashy Flippy Floppy Thingies, go to the Walmart shoe section, find the flip flops, look for a pair with a tube like top piece.

Thanks for this tidbit. It saved me from looking silly. :rolleyes1 I was able to go right to the blinky blinks because I looked for the tube. I also found out that you don't need to drop the entire pair of shoes on the floor. Tapping it against the shelve works too.

Ummmm.....I am SO going. But thanks, I think. :cloud9:

It's funny you mention the laptop. We've talked about getting on for a while. I have DH's Circuit City Credit Card tucked right here in the desk drawer (Walker actually had one on his Christmas wish list :confused3 ). I wonder if they have any specials on free financing (the only time we use it). It would be SO easy to order one, have it delivered to HH and log on while we're there. :cool1:

I thought I asked nicely the first time. Maybe it bears repeating. Please, please stop :chat:'ing while I'm gone. :teeth: Your right, at this rate, I will need another vacation to catch up. WAIT. The "another vacation" will be here by the time I'm all caught up. :rotfl2: Story of my life. :rotfl2: Always one step behind. :rotfl2:
