I can't believe how quickly the time is going for this cruise. Can someone tell me what's in a conch cooler? Is there going to be a pirate night? DH will love that! We'll have to go shopping - like I need an excuse

We received our paperwork yesterday too. I almost forgot to order "just one more item" so I'm glad they sent the reminder.

Konk Kooler

1/2 oz dark rum
3/4 oz light rum
1 oz passion fruit juice
1 oz pina colada mix
1 oz orange juice

1- Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously
2- Serve in a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a wedge of tropical fruit.

Happy 7 weeks left anniversary to all​

I am desparately trying to catch up with all the posts... don't count me out, it's just that life is too busy right now!

I called DVC on Thursday and was told there wouldn't be a pirate night... instead they were doing a TROPICAL night... has anyone else heard this. We are planning on packing our pirate outfits I do hope the cast member I sopke to was wrong...

Also, has anyone heard if there is a schedule yet... when the tropical night will be? Now I am even wondering if there will be fireworks.

We just got the update in the mail from DVC on Friday, which told us, as repeat cruisers, we could start booking Palo ressies on the 20th... They're a little late on that announcement. They also mentioned the great opporunity to see the sunset at Key West. My questions: Are they planning on adjusting dinner/shows accordingly, or, if you want to do the sunset watch, you miss the shows, etc? Does anyone know? Thanks!

I hope so too. I know of two pirates who would be disappointed.

Will we receive something from DVC before we sail as to what the exact plans are?

If no pirate night, I guess that's just another incentive to book another cruise.

What no Pirate Night, I hope the DVC CM is wrong, I think DCL CM would be more reliable.

Joe and I will have to compare notes whilst we are sailing.

Hey Lily! I am with you! Perhaps the CM meant they just won't be calling it a Pirate paty... AHOY Maytes! Certainly the PIRATES may invade!

I will make another call this week, as there are been so many reports to the contrary that we WILL be having a Pirate Night. I am hoping the CM really didn't have the correct information.

7 weeks? WOO HOOO

We went to Target yesterday and were able to score a shoe holder for $5.99. Matt was cracking me up as he asked if this was because I was bringing a ton of shoes. Note that it was not in the college back to school section but in the shoe storage area.

I hope we get some further clarification on Pirate/Tropical night!

Yes there are two bathroom doors (unless you are a in a cat 11 or 12).

I was thinking the same thing! On my list I have 8 pairs of shoes that I'm bringing!

Hopefully, Julia isn't walking by then.....then she'll need 3 pairs of shoes too!

Diana Lyn - you have a packing list already? Oh we are behind. I haven't done the magnets for the door - note to self to look at ads today to see if any have magnet sheets at discount - or even thought of a packing list.

Let's see if I can post a picture of one of my pirates. The kids really had a blast figuring out what they are going to wear. I'm sure it will change several times before the cruise. And, the WDW toy gun is staying home. But the moustache is coming with.
