Sept 30,2007 Wonder are we all alone?

Hi our family is sailing Sept 30th also! Anyone sailing w/children around 7-9 yrs of age??

My DD is 8,and my nephew is 9. Glad to see new posters on! My Dad is a Fla. resident, so he got upgraded to a cat. 9from a secret porthole room, plus got cash back! He's a happy guy!

I have twin girls who will be turning 8 on Sept 30th the day we set sail!!! This is a very special trip sor us. This is a Make A wish trip for one of my daughters who will be finishing up Leukemia treatments in October!!! I'd love to hear more about everyone. What's everyone's plans! Sailed before?

Only 49 more days til we are on the Wonder Having a hard time waiting! Everyday my 6 yearl old asks if the "cruise is open today?" Anyone dressing for pirates night? We are!

My boys dressed up last time and literally were the only ones! I had read so much about it on here I couldn't believe it. They got A LOT of attention. At the pirate party they got them up on stage and talked to them and then asked them to be up there and dance to Macarena and stuff like that. They loved it. This time however my son is 10, and has older cool friends going, and I think he's leaning against not doing it. I'm considering it, will probably be the only one of 15 that does!!!

You know, I think we have 11:30 banana boat rides booked right now also because we couldn't decide what time. I think we will probably cancel and keep the 2:30 or heck may do both.

How much longer now!!!! Our school just started and I'm getting antsy for fall break!

Great News! I hope you have a truly magical trip. If they are into Princesses and characters at all they will love it. It's so much better than the parks in that regard. When we sailed two years ago there were characters everywhere all the time, and the lines were short compared to the parks. My boys got dis-interested, I would say oh there's Mickey!!! and they would say yeah mom, we've done seen him, let's go!

Bumping us back to the first page, we can't get buried now, we are getting soooo close! The kids don't go back to school here til after Labor Day, and I'm ready for some peace around here. We are dressing up for Pirates night. We did last year, and quite a few were also dressed. I even got my DH to wear a costume!

What an exciting trip for you guys! It brings tears to my eyes to even hear that little bit of the story. I hope that your trip is extra, extra special.

We've just switched to the 4 day from a 3 day - they released FL Resident Rates and it made it less expensive to go for the extra day so we jumped on it.

We're going to do the stingray excursion in Nassau and pretty much enjoy our time on the boat. I'm a major Disney fan, and this is like my ultimate Disney dream. I'm so excited I can hardly wait. We've never taken the kids on a cruise, but my husband and I have done 2 short 3-day cruises in the past 10 or so years.

We're getting so close!!!!

We did the 3 day last time and it just wasn't enough time. We really didnt't want to leave. My DH isn't a traveller, and I almost didn't get him to go. Afterwards I just told him one day that I booked this one and he was like, OK! I know you guys will love it!

I'm still here. Spending time over on the WISH threads, trying to drop some weight. I'm sure that plan will be FAB on our upcoming cruise, huh?

Speaking of food -we're still on the 2nd seating for dinner, and have no Palo Brunch ressies. Looks like it's going to be a busy, busy afternoon when we board.

WOOOO!! WOOOO!! I got PALO brunch ressies today! WOOO! I've been trying several times a day for weeks. I'm so excited. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Now, all I need is a dining time change, and an upgrade and I'm a happy, happy cruiser!

Really, just the dining time change would be so ideal.

Wow, its getting so close!!!! I'm trying not to think about how bad it's going to be trying to get prepared to go and get caught back up on work when I get back. This is the first vacation that I've refused to take my laptop with me. We'll see how that goes! I can't wait, we'll be getting our cruise docs anytime now!
