Sept 29th? Why is MK closing at 6pm?

Hi,

I was just checking park hours for our next trip in Sept from the 23rd through the 30th and the Disney site has the MK closing at 6pm on the 29th. Anyone know what is going on?

TGM's site says it's the first MNSSHP and that Disney has released the dates but not any other info.

Thanks folks. I've seen the hours posted on this site but someone in our group was told there would be no MNSSHP on 9/29 so I was looking for confirmation. I guess I'll have to wait until the Disney site posts the dates & additional information. I never know what to believe since we're given such different information when calling with questions. I'll just make my plans with the assumption there will be a party on Friday night.

The calendar that this site has for events list the 2006 dates for the Halloween event and that is one of them.

Thanks for all of the replies. Are tickets on sale for this yet? From what I read on the link it does not look like they are yet. Also, we are just two adults, would we be out of place? The fireworks and parade seem cool though.

Not at all - there are lots of people of all ages there. Try this web site fort some (poor quality) but nevertheless illustrative pictures.
