Sept. 28th, 2008 - Oct. 2nd, 2008 * Wonder 4 Night *

We will be taking our 3rd Wonder Cruise, but this time we are bringing the whole extended family for thier first Disney Cruise! It will be:
me
DH
DS21
DS12
DD9
and
Dsister
Dbil
Dnephews 3 & 4
Dbrother
Dmom

There are 11 of us in 3 cabins. We are in 6530 and I'd love to get in on the FE fun!

Sounds like a few other boys around age 12. Maybe they can meet up early in the cruise? And I know my DD would love a friend to hang out with in the club and around the pool. She will be 9.

Hey Jesters, welcome aboard! I have 2 DD's, who will be 7 and 11. Your DD would fit right in the middle of them :goodvibes We'll have to see about getting them together! Right now, though, they have NO IDEA we're going on a Disney Cruise, so we'll have to ask them later! We'll be in 6054, just down the hall from you!

We are doing MNSSHP the night we get off the ship (10/2). We love MNSSHP more the Mickey's Christmas Party or the Pirate and Princess party. I love seeing all the creative costumes. We went a few years ago when my kids were young and we all dressed up. I was Cruella, the kids made their own dalmation costumes and DH was a dog catcher. Pluto acted really scared when he saw DH with his big "dog catching" net. The kids got a kick out of it.

we will be doing MNSSHP also on 10/2 our group is growing we are now up to a group of 18. we are are stayin at the nick hotel after the cruise we LOVED MVMCP i cant wait till the halloween party i still would like to do the fish extenders but i dont have a room yet:confused3 talk to everyone soon

Hello fellow cruisers.

I haven't read thru all of this thread yet but I just wanted to post and say that we will be joining you onboard the Disney Wonder too.

This will be our 10th Disney Cruise:woohoo:

So far this time it is myself, my husband and my mother.

We have booked a Guaranteed Category 12 for the first time.

I'll be back later after I've had the chance to read the rest of the thread.

:scared1: Maybe I should lock my 2 DD's in our cabin! Especially DD11, who is beginning to "notice" boys  Actually, that will be fine, as my DD's get along with boys, too. Just hope there's a bunch of girls, too, though.

If my 12 year old DS is anything to go by he is more interested in guitar hero than girls!

Just been checking out this thread :surfweb: :
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1219607
about :fish: Extenders and gifts.

I don't want to make this complicated but

1. Do we want to give a gift each day? e.g. Day 1: Sail Away Gift:boat: , Day 2: Gift from home,:sunny: Day 3: Pirate Gift pirate: , No gift day 4 - no time:sad: or do we want to just give 1 gift any day that suits, any theme?

2. Do we want to give a gift for each member of the family or just one gift per family?:earsboy: :earsgirl:

3. Do we want to meet? When and where?party:

I just like planning and it helps pass the time until we go!:woohoo:

hope my ddgoing to be 15 09/21 doesnt read post, she will freak that no girls her age seem to be going:confused3

I wouldn't worry too much about there being no girls your daughter's age on board.

There will most likely be plenty of them:thumbsup2

In fact there are usually several hundreds of teenagers onboard with each sailing.

The teen club Aloft holds a get together the first night onboard the ship for the teens to get aquainted with each other.

It is important for them to attend this event because that is when most of them find each other and make friends to hang out with for the rest of the cruise.

The planning is part of the fun of the trip:goodvibes

I've been to a few of these onboard meetings in the past.

It seems the best place that I've been to one is in Diversions on sailaway day afternoon.

Diversions is quite quiet mid afternoon and there are some snacks available in there too.

Another place people tend to meet up is the Promenade Lounge.

I've heard of some meetings taking place out on deck too but I've never been to one there.

i am sure she will be fine she is my best friend (besides my dm who will be coming to) and she is so funny and a delight to be around so even if she is ajoined at my hip the whole time that would be fine by me :yay:

I have a daughter like that too.

Mine is soon to turn 21 though.

She went with us on a cruise at the end of January.:goodvibes

Looks like we are going to have to cancel our cruise this year. We bought our first house 2 weeks ago and need to save the cash to put it into the house. I'm really sad because I was very much looking forward to the cruise. I've never been on a 4 day.

Sorry guys!!

Hopefully someone will take over keeping tabs on the FE for me.

Good luck with weather and I hope all of you have an AMAZING time!

I'm so sorry you won't be joining us  and thank you for getting this thread off the ground!

Dear Tink113
Congratulations on your first home!
:cheer2:

May there be many tax refunds in your future.
We spend ours on vacations.

Hey everyone, We are in the process of booking this cruise ourselves. It will be me and my wife, our 4 year old daughter, and my wife's parents from Portsmouth, VA (thought I saw someone on here from Chesapeake). This is our first cruise and really looking forward to it. I have been on a few cruise ships though and the disney ones are very nice so really looking forward to it.
