Sept. 28th, 2008 - Oct. 2nd, 2008 * Wonder 4 Night *

Leaving tonight (between 10:30 and 11:00), hoping DD will sleep on our way to Panama City. Safe travels to all and we'll see you Sunday. :cool1:

njfab 4 welcome

After a long day of work and getting everything packed in the car I took a glance at our phone hanging on the wall. There's a message, and it's been played. "Hon, who's this message from?" I ask. Her response, "It's actually from the cruise I think, I couldn't understand what they said" First thing that came to mind...it's an UPGRADE. Sure enough we've gone from a cat 9 to a cat 6 at no extra cost. We'll be in room 6604. And I thought I was excited before the upgrade.

See you all in less than two days!

Tim

Wow congratulations on that upgrade.

Enjoy it.

I'm first to reply after being home!!! Actually, I'm quite sad to be home, wishing we were still on the cruise. I still feel like I'm rocking, though, so if I close my eyes and wish hard enough, maybe I can pretend we're still there  Funny stories, though--#1--I forgot it was October! My girls and I wore shorts and t-shirts (mine is even sleeveless!) home today. By the time we got back to WV, it was only 48 degrees!!! BRRR! #2--When we landed in Columbus, OH, went to pick up our luggage at baggage claim, NO LUGGAGE! It was still in Atlanta, as of 7pm tonight. It's supposed to be here sometime tomorrow (and yes, we are 3 hours away from Columbus. They may fly our luggage here to Charleston, so they don't have to drive it as far). Better run--it's after midnight and DD7 has school in the morning  Had a great time! Glad we got to meet some of you! Thanks for all the great FE gifts, everybody! BTW, the Chick-fil-A cards are from us--you can use them at any Chick-fil-A in the country! Enjoy!!!

I am still rocking as well! WE had a great cruise and it is so sad to be back. WE didn't send DS to school today and we all sat around in our PJ's until 3:00...............The biggest bummer is that I had to make breakfast, lunch and dinner rather then looking at a menu picking my favorites and having it served and cleaned up!!! Back to reality I guess. Thanks for all of the wonderful gifts. Hope everyone had a great time.

We are home also.

I hope everyone enjoyed their cruise.

welcome back everyone:sad2:
sorry i didnt make it to the meet had to rebook palos and spa treatments anyone rebook onboard? i rebooked a dummy date for 2010 but i dont think i can wait that long im gonna take just my girls for a 4 day next year
hope evryone had a wonderful trip

Does anyone know if there was a castaway club party. If there was, we never got invited. We did receive our gift in our stateroom. Just curious.

Yes there was a Castaway Club party held.

It was scheduled for 11am on the Monday, the day at sea.

Unfortunately that was the exact same time that we had Palo brunch reservations so we were unable to attend it.

Did anybody manage to go to it?

How did you find out about the party. Was there a notice in your room Sunday night?

Yes we did receive an invitation card in our cabin.

I think it was there on Sunday night when we returned to the cabin after dinner.

I usually like to go to the Castaway Club party and was a bit upset that it was happening during our Palo reservation.

But I suppose you can't do everything.:confused3

I think I remember seeing it listed in the Navigator, too.

I guess we missed the listing in the navigator. But we didn't receive any invitation in our room, unless we overlooked it also. Not sure if we would have even went to it anyway at that time.

I find them interesting and wanted to go this time but unfortunately just couldn't make it.

Besides I love the free chocolate rice krispie Mickey heads they hand out as snacks:rotfl2:

I'm finally able to get on and thank everyone for the great FE gifts! It was fun to return to the cabin throughout the day and receive gifts at our door!! The pizza certificates were in place of postcards from our home town, and if anyone is every around, please stop in and use them - we would love to see someone from the cruise and share stories - hang on to them and they will be good for as long as we stay in business (hopefully a long, long time!):goodvibes . It was sad to return, even though we went to DisneyWorld after the cruise, but I cannot believe we have been home almost a week now. gr8lg8 - the CD was awesome - I listen to it everyday and it takes me back to those relaxing, fun-filled cruise days!! Thanks to everyone; this was just one more way to make the Disney dreams a reality!!!:yay:

We were at a table just outside the door of the private room:thumbsup2

I wasn't really paying much attention to what was going on in your room but I did notice that it was occupied.

I never even thought about checking out the Castaway Club party after Palos.

Never even occured to me to try:confused3

And yes, brunch is really quite amazing, isn't it.

The thunderstorm while we were in there was interesting also.
