Have we decided on a meet for sail away or earlier. We'll be at WDW until the cruise.

Bill

Nothin has been discussed, but we're more than happy to meet up on first day if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the movie list, I hope we do get finding Nemo 3D on our cruise!!!

FE Gifts done, labeled and packed!:cool1:

Wow; you are fast!

I was interested to see the movie list. I hope Finding Nemo will be a go!

Thanks for the welcomes.

In just 3 weeks, we will be setting sail! Woohoo!

I really need to get myself organised as we leave for WDW in just under 2 weeks!!!!!
Still so much to do and rapidly running out of time.
FE gifts are all finished now though :)

Wow, I'm amazed that at 20 days out, practically every stateroom category still has availability!! We may have the least crowded Dream pool deck in its short history! :rotfl:

As for a meet up, I'm cool with that. It would be nice for the kids to recognize friendly faces when they hang out in the clubs. Maybe directly after the sailaway party, as we're sailing out of Port Canaveral? Noah and I usually go to one of the upper decks and stand at the railing on the starboard side to watch the restaurant/campground/jetties go by. We could have a quick meet and greet up there before the early sitters have to go to dinner? (We have late seating, so no rush for us.) Maybe Deck 12 aft, starboard side of the Waves bar?

Just a suggestion, we're really up for pretty much anywhere/anytime. :cool1:

Deckplans if you need a reference, just click on the picture of them for a larger view, you don't have to download: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/cr-deckplans.htm

Annemarie, I hope you guys have a great time at WDW!!! I am excited for you, what a great trip! :goodvibes

That would be great if it isn't too crowded!

Meeting up sounds good. We do have early dinner seating, so would have to meet right away afater the sailaway party.

Thankyou :) I'm getting super excited now as last full week of working !!! Woohoo!!!!!

Hoping that the ship won't be too full as I also noticed that there are still all categories available

Has anyone upgraded their stateroom at the port before?
What is the approx cost to upgrade from oceanview to veranda?
How will our luggage find us if we change staterooms?

:banana:WOO-HOO It is ALMOST vacation time!!

I have but I don't know what the cost would be for the oceanview to verandah. We went from a 5b verandah to a 1-bedroom on a Magic 5-night in May. That was $1200.

The stateroom hosts and other staff will know to reroute your luggage for you. We made sure to mention it to ours when he introduced himself early in the day on embarkation. You could also make a quick run by the old room to make sure your bags aren't out by the door.

15 days! Woo Hoo!! party:

The staterooms are finally starting to dwindle. Only a couple inside categories, no oceanview, only Cat 4 (family size) verandahs, and concierge are left.

Also, note to those who used a Florida Resident Rate - looks like you have to fax or email proof of residency now, you can't wait for them to check at port. :headache:

Yeah, my TA had us fax our proof w/in 2 days of her booking it for us. This was the first time we've used a FL resident rate so we weren't aware it was ever different. :)

This was a good reminder for me...I have to do this since we were already thinking we would be sorry when this cruise is over, so we just booked another cruise over Halloween with my parents. Very good FL Resident rates in our opinion, so it will be two shorter cruises instead of the 7 day we have typically done in the past.

"Links to Personal Navigators from this past weekend's 3 night cruise!"

Thank you for the link! Do they tend to keep to the same agenda from cruise to cruise? Can't wait to sit and go through them.

Annie and Hazel, just a few more days until you leave! Exciting! Have a safe trip over and have a great time at WDW. You might not think so when you get here, but it is actually cooling off a little and there is a bit of "Florida Fall" in the air!

Yes we leave on Thursday!!!!! :)
It has started to cool off considerably here so I'm sure looking forward to the 'cooler' Florida temperatures ;)
Can't believe we sail next week :) :)

Have any decissions been made on meeting up the first day?
I still plan on being on Deck 12 aft, starboard side of the Waves bar right after sailaway as we sail out of Port Canaveral. Look for a short large woman and a tall 15 year old boy. :wave2: I've not seen anyone post an alternate, but happy to meet at another time if anyone does.

Yes, I expect them to be very similar. Maybe a few differences as to what is playing on the big screen at the pool, but overall close to the same.

NINE DAYS!!!!! :rainbow:

We are at the airport waiting to board!! :) :)

Very excited and can't believe our trip is finally here :)

See you all next week
