Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

Well you are in for a treat. This will be my sixth Disney Cruise, one on the Wonder and five on the Magic. I know Disney is one of the most expensive, but you will not beat the service and the ship is so clean you can eat off the floor. I also think the Disney ships are the best looking.

I don't even have any kids. I travel with my sister and parents (my sister and I are in one cabin). My mother is in a wheelchair and they treat her like gold.:worship: I can guarantee you will not be disappointed:cheer2:

See you on the Magic:thumbsup2

:thumbsup2

Thanks :) I am really excited to be trying Disney. We were pretty "loyal to Royal" until they did away with a lot of their frequent cruiser perks :( So...Disney here we come!

I have been working on making my FE gifts...but got the most awesome gift while we were shopping today. I can't WAIT to hand them out :lovestruc I hope eveyone likes it and gets lots of use out of it. One small problem though... they most likely won't fit in a FE :confused3 would it be okay to just hang them from the Fish? I worry about them getting stolen....any ideas?

Oh and I totally forgot I need to buy PJ's for the breakfast! LOL

If you hang them on the "fish" they should be out of reach to most of the smaller cruisers!

You'll make it, you'll make it! After all, you've got about 70 cabins chearing for you. :thumbsup2

See, that's why I love Walmart. Sure need one over here. :headache: Can't wait to see you girls new attires! :goodvibes

No, there isn't a list. However, I can imagine there being people that would find it handy. I know I would, so if there is any interest; I'll keep a list. Those coming in early; just sent me a PM with the info and I'll keep a list right on this topic. (and PM Pam the link to it, so she can update the first page)

Grin, too big. How does one manage to do that!? :rotfl::confused3 Maybe you could find a way to get the most of them to folks IRL? :confused3 Maybe use stuff like the cabin tour, the high tea, brunch, same dining rotations etc. in your favor for this???? Somehow I've got this idea that you wont go for the idea of hammering the FE-gift until it fits the FE, right? :littleangel:

Better get yourself something to wear! I've been told they do not like naked nor little nothings. :lmao:

Ah, I should've read a bit further. Now only to get yourself a jammie. ;)

Working on folding the wedding programs today....boss is in Thailand till Sept 2...sooooo :rolleyes1....

Let me know about the link for pre-cruise stays and I can add it to the page 9 roster. We are staying at either the Springhill Suites Airport, Fairfield Inn Airport or the Residence Inn Airport.....got travel agent rate and all 3 booked until I can decide which one I want!!! I reserved us a car so we can go see my sister in Frostproof, FL on Friday afternoon then we will take the DCL transfers from airport on Saturday morning.

We are staying the night at the Hyatt at the airport. I got it on Hotwire for $66. I was very happy with that price.

Thanks for posting this.:thanks: I was able to get the same deal. :yay: I just cancelled our reservation for another hotel - this will be so much more convenient.

That is the main reason why we are staying there. I love that we can get up in the morning and head right to the bus!!

I wish Disney had some perks for Disney Cruise repeaters. We do get some gifts in our stateroom for coming back.

Countdown is on! I've probable been assigned a stateroom for a while now but I just checked and we are in #6639. For some reason now that we have our statroom it feels real - we are actually going on a disney cruise in 33 DAYS!!! :cool1:

Hello Everyone!

We just finally got our cabin numbers too. We are in 5624, and across the hall in 5627. We are interested to see how we like deck 5. I wonder if it is nice to have fewer cabins around, or if we'll feel a little isolated (?). Either way, we are just excited to be on this cruise! BTW, we have not signed up for FE because this was kind of a last minute trip. I wasn't sure if I could prepare in time, and didn't want to throw people who have been planning way in advance. We would be happy to be a part of the cabin tours though, IF anyone would want to see these cabins. They are just a family stateroom with veranda and an inside stateroom across the hall. Also, is it too late for us to join in on the PJ breakfast?

Also, we are staying at the airport Hyatt the night before we leave. If anyone else is staying there, and would like to meet for breakfast, let us know!

List of pre-cruise stays;

Sftnslky Sept 23, 24, and 25 at Hilton Grand Vacation Villas on International Blvd. We agreed to go on a time share presentation..so we got a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite for the 3 nights for a grand total of $75 :cheer2:

Stay afterwards Oct 3, 4 and 5 Nickelodon Hotel. :woohoo:

We were on a ship once (not DCL) and in the adults only pool. This old man dropped his shorts and took a shower right there in the shower next to the pool!!! EWWWW :sad2: It was next to the Buffet....:rotfl:

Ewwww, that is so gross! Did anyone say anything to him? :rotfl2::rotfl2:

How did you make your ressies at the Nick Hotel? The reason I ask is because I have a coupon for a free pizza party but you couldn't have made the ressie through a TA or a travel website (travelocity, etc.). You had to make them directly with the hotel. There are a few other rules, too.

I think I saw a list going of where everyone is staying - we will be at the Hyatt at the airport the night before our cruise.

The list has been updated with everybodies info!

we will be at the radisson at PC on 9/25 but wont get in till very late :faint: since we will be at MNNSHP that night :wizard:. y'all think we're close enough to fatcat to join the party? we might not check in till 1am - fatcat: will you be awake and greeting guests? or not - couldn't handle a premature glimpse of the crab shorts! wouldn't be fair.

maybe we can sleep in and get to the terminal by 11am. will be looking for fatcat cruisewear, packers jerseys, and suspicious flip flops ;)

List has been updated again. :thumbsup2

Spectrum-Turbo asked if I was also keeping a MNSSHP-list. Not at the moment, but it did made me wonder if a list would be something our group would like. If so; guess I can do that also.
