DISNAMES small.

This way for non posters we can tell who is affiliated with who.

If I'm not mistaken, it's already taken by somebody in our group. (forgot her name :scared::headache: )

Maybe I can confiscate one of the lifeboats? :rolleyes1

Well, maybe she'll swap with you...afterall, your happy ego is vital to the well-being of our group!!

Chris, you are desperately needed on our Facebook. Something about alcohol. ;)

UM, yeah...alcohol smugglers need to know some 411. :rolleyes1

Grin, you might want to quit feeding it, it grows quicker than my tummy does by just looking at all the yummy things WDW and DCL had waiting for me. :goodvibes

And shhhhhhhhhhhht, do not tell it on the homepage. Before you know it, they traced down your IP and sent some AA-rep to your home.

I second that.

Hope you don't mind, I went ahead and answered. I hated to see anyone have to wait any longer than need be.

No smuggling needed, just a little discretion.

Yeah,, it really does look different, doesn't it?

I was able to log on. Just had to click on Planning (or whatever it says...something similar), then logged in.

Still no Palo brunch reservations. :scared1:

Hi everyone :)

We are Bobbie(34) and Dave(44) from Rochester, NY. We will be cruising with our son Matthew. He will be 7 1/2 months when we sail. We cruise a lot, but this is our first time on Disney! We are super excited!!! I took Matthew to Disney when he was 7 weeks old, but the trip was with my parents and my 14 yr old daughter. Now Daddy is coming with us to "meet the mouse" and it will just be the three of us. (We have four other kids...ages 14,15,18,18) I think we are going to try and do 2 days in Disney pre-cruise. I am soooo excited! Any tips for a first timer to DIS cruising? In the past we have sailed RCCL, NCL, Princess and Carnival. We almost always go with RCCL ;) Any tips would be awesome.

Well, I can tell I'm gonna have to check here everyday from now on because of busy.
I can't get any resv's. for Palo at all! Nothing! Would like to treat the DW to a good dinner.
Was thinking of green shirts with Picaroon Pirates on back and names on front.
Gotta go chat in chat room now as it's cruise topic night.

:welcome: Bobbie! Since I'm an allround cruise virgin, no tips from me sorry. But there are enough folks on here that'll have a lot of great tips. :thumbsup2

Jacq...you have never even been on one cruise?? And you are starting off in the WD suite. Boy are you in trouble. You'll never be able to have a regular cabin again. This is our first cruise in 9 years that we won't have a balcony and I feel so sad about it. I was just too scared to have a balcony with my 3 year old. But as soon as I think they won't climb the rail and jump overboard, I'm back to balconies!! Maybe you should trade rooms with us one night to get what a typical cruise experience is like. :rotfl:

Hi Bobbie. I have zero advice for you on DCL as I've never cruised with them before. But I have done many RCCL and Carnival cruises. I'm super excited right there with you though. I feel like having been on so many of the others, the routine is getting slightly repititive. Not that I don't love to cruise anyway. But I'm so excited for this cruise first because this is our kids first one and 2nd because it's with the mouse and his friends. I swear I eat, sleep, drink everything to do with this cruise. I have no idea what the heck I'm going to do with my time when we are home. I hope to book another one next year for our 10 year anniversary while we are on this ship. Then I'll know I have something to plan which my DH says is exactly what puts me in my happy place. :hippie:

Hoho, hang on a big minute! I'm not staying in the WD suite. I wish! :goodvibes Crystal exclaimed that my ego should stay in it (it's big enough, anyway), to which I remembered her of the fact that some other DIS'er is staying in there. I'm "only" staying in a cat 6 stateroom. :thumbsup2

No need to experience a typical cruise experience ;) but if you're nice :lmao::rotfl2::laughing: maybe we can hang out on our balcony. You wont know what you're seeing, ours is big. Big time big. :cloud9:

Aw shucks! I told DH we had to one day have that luxury of WD Suite. I clearly didn't read our posts thoroughly enough. I thought someone from the board was staying in there. Gotta go re-read I guess.

Oh, and I called DCL last night since Fires14 had a tea ressie they were willing to give up. Unfortunately, "Hector" told me that you cannot switch ressies from one person/group to another. He said the person has to cancel online which will then input the ressie back in the system but it could take anywhere from 1 to 24 hours. He of course recommended that I go to Rockin' Bar D between 1:30 and 2:30 bla bla bla bla. What a bummer.

And last thing hopefully out of me today. I posted a discussion on the facebook page hoping that everyone could put their DIS name with their real name. I'm still having a hard time putting real names/faces with their DIS name. Maybe the last names are throwing me on FB. Anyway, if you'd be so kind as to visit and respond to that page. Thanks all for the help!! Sorry for my denseness.

You are simply human and read what you wanted to read. I know that problem. ;)

As posted in the topic Fire started about it; I would not cancel it, until both of you were on the Magic. Go to where-ever it can be done together and tell the CM Fire is cancelling and give the reservation to Ana. This way no risk what so ever of somebody slipping past you and snatching the ressie away.

I'll pop along after this. No need to say sorry, I'm dreadfull with names so know what it feels like.

Me too! I love having you guys as Facebook friends, but when I get a friend request, I'm not sure who y'all are. :rotfl2:

I'll head over to FB and make sure to add to the discussion. :surfweb:

:welcome: Glad you found us!!! This is mine and dh's third cruise BUT first with a baby (he'll be 15/16wks at the time we sail). So this cruise will be like no other for us. Just make sure you breath and don't kill yourself to do everything. Take it all in. If you have any specific questions just ask.

Thanks for the welcome :)

I am just having a hard time figuring out when to schedule the nursery. Is it a limit to 10 hours or just 10 reserved hours? We have been given late seating dinner. I am not sure I like the idea, but we will manage.

Not sure if you have other little ones but....I took Matthew to Disney, along with my 14 yr old, when he was 7 weeks old...and you're going to love Disney with a newborn :) It was actually pretty relaxing. I am a baby wearer though...and if you don't wear your little one, you might want to try it. I used a Moby Wrap in Disney and it made life sooo easy. We still brought a stroller, but all it did was hold all our stuff...LOL

Is anyone doing the Regetta in St. Maarten? Dave booked it. He has always wanted to do it so he figured why not. After he gets done we will head over to Maho Bay and watch the planes land again. It's AWESOME.

What is everyone doing in St. Thomas? We have no clue what we want to do there. We have been there a bunch of times, but never seem to plan much there. Any ideas?

What about the FE thing... is it too late to sign up? It sounds like a lot of fun!

I am soooo excited about this cruise. It's all new to us. I just hope we love DCL as much as I think we are going to.
