Sept. 25, 2005 Wonder--Who else is on?

Seems we have alot of fellow cruisers with a anniversary, my 24th, see ya on the Wonder 9/25.

Hi Richie,
Where were you a CM?

I was a Disney Store Cast Member for 9 and 1/2 years... I started way back when there was just a handful of stores nationwide.

This is going to be our first Cruise and we are getting soooo excited!

We can't wait! :drinking1 :jumping1: :rockband: :jumping1: :drinking:
PAR-TAY!

Oh and Richie,
We read your idea about meeting up at Downtown Disney before the cruise - we'll be staying that night in the Cape Canaveral area... we've never been to that area and wanted to scope it out and have a relaxed trip to the Cruise Terminal on the day of sailing.

Are most folks doing just the cruise?
Or hitting WDW before and/or after?

Phil,
I worked at Disney MGM studios for 4 years in outdoor foods. This is my 5th cruise, 4th for my wife, and our first on DCL. Not sure about others, but we live 5 minutes from disney, and my dad works there, so we come and go as much as we want for free to the parks. Since no one sounded interested in meeting at downtown disney, We decided we are just going to go out to dinner with the family, then head over to the port early on day of sailing. Looking forward to the cruise.
Richie

Just checking in to say Hello to our fellow cruisemates... my husband and I are the ones having our anniversary on Sep. 18th, 7 years for us! Wow! Cannot wait to board the beautiful ship! :bounce: We would still be interested in meeting up the night before. We will be arriving in Orlando mid-afternoon on Saturday and don't have any clue what we should do! :confused3 We thought about renting a car and going somewhere??

Some other cruisers meet while they're on the cruise. Please feel free to drop by our rooms at any time to say Hello. Who has the biggest room on our cruise where we could meet? Anyone get the Walt or Roy suite??? :wizard:

Hello everyone! I'm getting so excited.

I have to ask everyone, did you get "documention" sent to you about the cruise? Two weeks ago we received a voicemail from DCL saying that our package had been sent back to them because they had the wrong address (they shipped it to an address from a past cruise). I called them back (had to call twice) and finally they figured out who called and said they would ship the package to me. When I called today to say I hadn't received the package yet, the customer service rep told me that the packages don't go out until 14 days before the cruise. I also still have not received my room number on line yet. I know others have. Is anyone else having the same problems? Please let me know. Thanks! :)

Melissa

No, I haven't received any documentation yet. :confused3 I was wondering when it was going to come. It will be interesting to see if anyone yet has received theirs.

:wave2: We haven't received our docs in the mail but our information was posted on the disney cruise website. We booked a cat 12 and were upgraded to a cat 10. Woohoo!!!

Hi all!
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I am canceling our Dolphin Exp. right now, if anyone is still trying to book. My wife has decided that she would rather spend the day "spending" in the straw market.

We haven't received our docs in the mail yet either. We booked through a travel agent and when I called Disney to ask they said that the docs will be sent to the travel agent and then they will be forwarded to us.

Found out that we were upgraded! Booked a Cat 12 GTY and got a Cat 9! We were linked with my parents resi and they also were upgraded to a 9, with our rooms next door to each other. It's getting close now!

We were on the waitlist for early dining and that came through too! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

we were upgrades as well, we booked sateroom 1075- a category 10 deluxe inside on deck 1, now we are in a category 8 deluxe oceanview on deck 5.

I did not sign for my documents, but I was home and met the UPS man at my door. I don't normally sign for my packages and I get several a week. Unfortunately, there not usually from DCL. A girl can dream though..... :earsgirl:
