David - No, your not the only one that feels a little guilty about taking a cruise when others are suffering. My solution is prayers and donations. Unable to solve all the problems of the world but able to help in a small way. I MUST believe in the GOOD that will come from this catastrophic event.

On another note, YES, I learned my hubby chores in New England. Twelve years of parochial school and an Irish Matriach with a bunch of sons. Got one of those "proper Bostonian" educations.

Really glad to see how many DHs are Techies into Science Fiction and Fantasy. Must admit to be addicted to the same. All started with reading The Hobbit (First Time) about forty years ago. Guess I have been living in a fantasy world ever since.

Had some great news yesterday, I was offered another job! However, it looks like I may stay with the original offer. Salaries, benefits and such are comparative but I operate on the premise that $$$ should NOT be THE primary decision factor. Going to settle for a little less $$$ and go for the "fun" project. David - You will love this, I am the Integration Manager for construction and implementation of a new Simulations & Modeling Training Center. LOTSA high-end computers networked to provide live-virtual-constructive training simulations. Lots of high tech toys ~ COOL stuff!!!

Well, that's enough rambling ... One more quick post and then it is time for my morning PT.

Group Meeting & Gift Exchanges ~ Me, I'm going to be looking for a Barney's Brood Sign at Parrot's Cay. Marsha or Kim is making the sign? As DIDI has pointed out, FOOD always makes us all feel warm & comfy. As far as gift exchanges, I like to collect hugs. SO, if I were to give anyone a Moose Nugget or such, I think a HUG would be a fair exchange. Take your $$$ you might have spent on a "gift" and spend it on your kids. It will be a better spent and a wiser investment. Let's not complicate the fun.

I do miss our visits! I should have met you there. I'm stuck at home cleaning today since we are going to lake for weekend! I'd pick Panera over cleaning any day! I need to get one of these east coast men to come clean my house! Apparently they've had the proper training.
And for some reason as I clean today, I keep singing "Easy Like Sunday Morning". Anyone know why?

Deanna: I ordered the shirts but I may have trouble with the wording. It seems the T-shirt company doesn't want to tick off the 'Mouse'. Also, I thought we might be able to get the pictures in color but the cost is WAY to high. So we are black to the monochrome pictures. If I have to update the wording I'll let you all know.

Deanna, I may ask you for a door magnet too since you have the process down pat and the dresses don't take that much time either.

We currently are renting a car on Friday to get to Ron Jon's. Do you all think we should rent a service to take us there instead of messing with the gas fill? Or do you think it will all be resolved when we are down there? Just curious. Anyone else renting a car?

You did remind me that I need to reschedule my cleaning though . I will tell you right now I have a bad front tooth, its not from coffee but "multiple" tramatic injuries as a kid........as soon as my kids are done with orthodonture and I can afford it I need a veneer......Ironically enouph my DD knocked her front tooth out 2 years ago and so we are twins .....she gets her veneer first.

We are renting one way car from Budget. Haden't thought about the gas issue??

WOW Dennis I think you and my hubby are going to get along great! ANything that involves computers or techno stuff and he will hang around! I have been shopping for a new camera....got any good infor you want to pass on??

Mention of teeth cleaning...that is on my list to do before the cruise....oh my where to squeeze it in.

We are staying at the radi and will be on the frist shuttle not sure what time that is...but we should be there early also....YIPPIE....don't have any idea what we will be wearing....but as soon as i know i will fill you in....

The gas thing in Florida from my understanding should be fine by the end of the month....but i can update you as i find out more....

speaking of schools I have still got to fill my son's school in.....I guess I will do that on Tuesday. I am hoping we can get his work a week early so that we can do it before vacation.....here is to hoping!!

HooDooKoo, Christianweecare, amymouse, skycon, suzanne74...The only ones who are still here from the beginning are Dennis, FourFoxes and Kim! Smilingmouse joined early on and so did Deanna. I joined in on page 12 which was in early April, right before we booked the cruise. Time has gone quickly since then, only 3 weeks left!!

Nothing extra besides the normal stuff to fill out, except this time they included the info/pamphlet for renting tuxes "Elegance Delivered Directly to your Stateroom"

bpicard- woohoo! I'm so jealous! So much for my theory of being closer to Florida than ya'll! Of course with the hurricane, we didn't get any mail on Monday. I just hope that they come sometime this week. We are supposed to go to Birmingham next weekend to see the Lion King. Briley's docs will get mailed to Keri since Briley is registered in her room. That way I can pick them up in person and she won't have to mail them back to me. I wonder if it makes a difference who you booked thru? We booked thru Dreams Unlimited.
