I just tried last night for a 3 star for $45 and didn't "win." I put $40 in for a 2 1/2 star and also lost. In 72 hours, I can try again and I think I'll put the same numbers in on those bids. I'm not seeing any winning bids posted yet for September in the MCO airport zone so I'm guessing it just might be a little too early. I'll check back with Bidding for Travel regularly to see when/if September bids get posted.

Just checking in! Things have been crazy around our house this week. DD(now 9) had a Birthday Tuesday, and got out of school yesterday. DH decided on Monday,that for my Birthday (tomorrow) he wanted to go to Disney! After a million calls to CRO (DVC is completely booked) I finally got a room at Pop Century for our "emergency" trip! I think that all this 50th Birthday celebration, new rides, the stunt show, well... He just couldn't take it! We are leaving as soon as he can drag himself away from work (hopefully in a the next hour). The car is completely packed and the kids have no clue that we are going. I put the suitcases in the car while they were sleeping last night. DD9 thinks I am the meanest mother in the world because I won't let them play in the sprinklers(their suits are packed), and they can't go to the neighbors to play(DH should be home any minute). Anyway, hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend. I'm excited to be going to WDW, but it's going to be hot, and the crowds will be huge I'm afraid! Oh well, I guess we can tough it out! I'll check back in next Wed. when we get back! Erin

I put $40 in for a 2 1/2 star and also lost.

I recently won a 2 star for $35 for Fri, Sept 23rd.

It ended up being La Quinta Inn Orlando Airport West.

Hi All,

Yes this will be a 1st time cruise for 2 families. Me, DW, DS (12) & DS(8) and SIL, BIL & Nephew (8).

We've done WDW for the last 4 straight years and are now confirmed Disney addicts.

Yes, BJ's mom, I think we were on the same cruise.....we were lucky....we had great weather!!!!

Silly side note: one of my goals in life is to visit EVERY Disney destination in the world...by the end of this year, I will have done everything except Disney Tokyo and Hong Kong....those will be coming later

smilingmouse- Yes, the weather was wonderful! I loved the temp. in Nassau, it was so warm! I was worried about CC, but it got nice and sunny toward noon. Did you ever post on the thread for the jan. 30 wonder cruise for the last cruise? I did, but I don't remember seeing your name. By the way, I love your idea about vising every Disney destination in the world!
