Hello All! We've started our planning too but it's been on hold since last Thurs. when I threw my back out. OUCH! We've got our trading pins and have determined activities for my mom and sisters. I however have to wait to see my 'work schedule' before I can say what I will be doing.

Nassau- Mom, Aunt and Uncle will do the Dolphine Encounter at Blue Lagoon
Castaway Cay- My sisters and friends will do parasailing.

Morning Friends! So my back is feeling better AND I've received my work schedule for while we are on the boat. Right now my day at Nassau is a work day from 9-4pm and dinner the night before however that's it. Sooooo here's my thinking....

Secret Mickey's...I will go back through the posts and compile a list of those that would like to participate. Once confirming that you are still wanting to participate, I will randomly PM you whom you will be secret mickey too and all their information.

DIS Meet- I'm thinking 3pm right before the fire drill at the Promenade Lounge. How does this sound?

Thanks for organizing this but we'd rather participate in a FE exchange (just rather make one thing for several families instead of several things for one family). But I'm sure your Secret Mickey will be great fun and have lots of supporters.

Hi everyone I am really starting to get excited. I am purchasing my flights (late on this I know!) and my night before resort this Friday. I need to have a meet up with my friends to cover some information.


So what types of excursions is everyone booking?

We have had to change cruise dates... My daughter's school has always been closed for the 3 days the last full week of September, which is why I booked this week. We received the new school calendar yesterday, and they have moved the days they are closed. So, I was able to move the cruise to the September 30th date. Hope you guys have fun!!!

So what types of excursions is everyone booking?

We are doing the back-to-back with the cruise on the 19th, so I think that I'm going to fill that cruise with most of the excursions, and let this cruise be our relaxation cruise. We'll definitely book another Palo for dinner on this cruise, and are thinking about the family fun package at Castaway Cay (I booked the jetskis for DH and I at Castaway Cay on the 19th cruise; unfortunately DD is still excluded from that due to her age). Other than that, we are just going to take it easy.

As this is our first cruise, I think I have to wait till 75 days and I HAVE NO idea what we are doing in Nassau...guess I better get on it. I am currently working with DU to see if we can swing the 11 day southern Caribbean for Christmas, I think I have a slight Disney fever...

Oh my goodness, that would be incredible! Hopefully, you can apply a rebooking discount to the cruise too (if DCL lets you do it), and get an even better rate.

One piece of advice if I may...if you rebook on the cruise in Sept. to get the discount make sure you have your DU rep's name so you don't run into issues later on down the road. Happened to me....I didn't have DU rep's last name and was told I could fix it when I got home. BOY was that ever wrong. Took about 2 weeks and several phone calls and emails to get it straight.

I think I may have to wait... even with the on board discount it would be tight to make it by christmas this year...oh well, who knows...looking forward to our trip this fall, still undecided about what to do in Nassau....I asked my DW to choose, but her and DD Tink went to the "Coach outlet" today! so thats obviously gonna cost me...
