Wow ~ thank you so much for taking the time to update the FE list.

Vacation planning for 17 and deployment - stressful!
Even though you will be busy, try to enjoy your next few weeks!

Thanks you guys!

Yes i planned a 4 night vacation in the Smokey Mountains for 17 members of my family ranging in the ages 3 to 88. It was a little stressful but my family helped. It was our last big family get together before my husband left.

I have been trying to get on the Disney sites today but for some reason computer is doing funky things - hoping I don't have a virus or something:confused3

So I sure hope when I can check in next month that I get our Palo Brunch.pixiedust: This is the only thing that I really have my mind set for -

Cabana 19 - is that on the ship or on Cay? That isn't the same thing as Cabanas where everyone goes to eat is it?

I did a quick search but didn't see any posts like my question. I was wondering if anyone has heard of or has split the Cabana rental at Castaway Cay with fellow cruisers you don't know? What are the logistics of doing it that way?
I would like to see what the Cabanas are all about but it's just DH and I. I personally am too cheap to pay that for just two of us lol. Thanks for your help!

Hello. Yes me and DW were wondering this. It's just me ( Paula ) and her so it's not been worth it but be good if you spilt the money by several couples so each got a few hours :-)

If we weren't being so wishy washy about what we want to do on CC I would consider your offers. Right now tho, it just isn't feasible for us to consider even with the sharing:upsidedow because we are hoping to get as many "special" F&W events as we can and those are $$$$$$.

Look forward to seeing your reviews of it tho if you guys decide to do it.

Just wondering what you all are doing for lunch on the ship - going to Cabanas or the restaurant or neither?

We are taking the DCL transportation from WDW and I am wondering if I should bring snack lunch for us. I think we are leaving the resort around 11am and get on ship about 1pm and for me - I get cranky when I get hungry:rotfl2: so trying to decide how much snacks I should have to tide me over....and then which is the faster place to get something to eat.

Also does anyone know if these are the only two areas of the ship with food available?

Hi. I too like lunch earlier so DCL transport and lunch on ship did not work out for us. Now we do early check in and drive ourselves! We park and are eating happily in Cabanas by 12 :-) Cabanas has always been open by 12 and the pool side grill places. If I was getting the DCL transport I would def bring my own lunch! Are you staying at WDW?

We are staying at Contemporary for one night.

We usually let someone else do the driving when we go to WDW. I don't really enjoy having to pick up and then drop off a car and catch a shuttle and all that.

So looks like I am going to raid the lounge for snacks and goodies;)

Oh Contemporary lovely! Not tempted to Chef Mickey it all you can eat breakfast before coming lol...

thought about it but then decided since we were paying for the conc level we would just use the lounge for breakfast and try to sleep in and enjoy the room....but it is still a thought if we get really hungry:) thanks for the reminder....I am always up for a CB with any of the Fab 5.

right now is do I spend the money to do the fireworks dessert party or do we go back to the resort to watch and eat their dessert....any thoughts?
