Im sooo doing the happy Dance! I think I got all my friends and family sick of me talking non stop about Disney! I need some Disney fan to talk to before one of them kill me! :lmao:

So as far as buttons goes! I and hubby will get one for our anniversary while we are there, DD will get one for her Bday and my mom for her first time! But My 2 DS will not get any buttons! They need buttons!
We are going Sept 4th - the 9th not a long trip but long enough cause this is the 2nd week of school for the boys but the only time we can go!

Every time my DD see's Cinderella castle she says Cinderellas house and knows its Disney! She is only 2! I sit her on my lap to look at the pic on this site and she's amazed at them all! Love looking at her expressions while looking at the pictures!

Anyhoot! My first time to Disney was 2005 and I cried like a baby when I saw the castle, my whole childhood I dreamed of going to Disney and saw many of my friends go and see their dreams come true! So that was my childhood dream coming true to me. For some reason I'm even more excited about this trip than ever! Cause I get to experience this with not only my Daughter but with my mom! She is fighting cancer and now is the opportunity to get in as much family time as we can, cause when a close family member has cancer and can be life threaten like this it makes you think of how short life is and how precious it is to sped time with family!
I know when I see Disney World again I will cry again! I know this cause I get teary eye every time I hear "A dream is a wish your heart makes" and "when you wish upon a star"!
YES, we are staying at the SOG Grounds! My Step father is military and I could not pass up the Discount offer! I'm in the mist of planning our trip out now! You know the; where to go on what day and where to eat at! Also praying we have beautiful weather when we do go!

So I am looking forward to getting to know you all and learning some awesome tricks and tips of going to Disney! So I can make this a wonderful trip for my hubby as well, cause He's not a fan of Disney, I got to make him a fan so planning future trips will be more easier! LOL

If my spelling and grammar is off please excuse me I'm a bit loopy right now cause I'm on pain killer, just had dental work done!

OH MY! My pain killer must of really kicked in last night! Holy smokes Batman! My spelling and grammar was and probably still all over the place! :rotfl:

yay! i am going in september as well... and i can tell you, its a wonderful time to go! the weather is a bit less hot and humid than in the summer and the crowds are much lower. are you considering mickeys not so scary halloween party?

Can't wait for our trip! This is our 3rd time going in september.

Another Sept. person here. I am driving everyone crazy also talking about it all the time.

Ok, when does the halloween party thing start!!!! I'm going the first week in Sept!
I'm going crazy over here reading books on Disney, reading all these post on ppls experience
On Disney! So the last time we went to disney we ended up spending about a grand a day
Way toooo much money IMHO!! This is one of the reason my hubby dislikes Disney!
Partly my fault for wanting to buy everything I can get my hands on! Oh that trip
My SIL paid for our flight, hotel and food! We brought tickets and junk! So yeah a grand
On junk is a bit much! Sooooo, I PROMISE the hubby that it won't happen this trip!
I promise we will do it on more of a budget! Bwahahahaha! Need to have me blindfolded
The whole trip! Some reason when I'm on vaca I have the urge to just blow all my money!

Well I'm from Maryland and we r driving to FL! Flight is way too much for 6 ppl
Its only a 14 hour trip so it shouldn't be soo bad we r driving sown sat stay in GA and then get to disney sunday do downtown disney sunday! Then mon- thurs do each park a day! Depending
On how my DD is doing!
The one thing that got my eyes bugging is the prices of food! Holy crud! But with some good planning I can do this and stay in budget!
For those that have been many time before is Sept a off peak time? The prices I see now is it peak prices or off peak?
So I also plan on doing CRT now not norway! But is CRT worth the money? I will be paying for 2 adult and my DD will be free! The boys and hubby will be doing breakfast at the hotel! But iIs lunch at norway better way to go? My only concern is that she really likes cinderella!!!
Oh my head hurts and I just begun planning! Yeah I think my family is right I'm going to drive my self nuts!!!
Ok typing on the crackberry is hard! TTFN!

Yes, we arrive on the 4th and will come home the 15th. I am really hoping the first MNSSHP is the 13th. We have gone to MNSSHP 3 times now and I love it. They won't put out the official dates until late April early May so it is a guessing game at this point.

Are you staying on property? We will be staying at POP for the third time. We are also doing the dining plan (got in on free dining again and upgraded to the regular dining plan).

We are staying at SOG! Leaving here the 3rd getting to disney on the 4th doing parks from the 5th - 9th! Since we are staying at the SOG we don't get the dining plan! But I feel we got such a good deal that it doesn't matter! I know a lot say they don't like SOG cause its not disney enough, but I have 2 boys who really could care less about the room we stay at! And a 2 year old who is not quite old enough to understand! Lol! So I'm out number! I wanted AKL but to my hubby saving money speaks louder than where we stay! We did pop my first trip I liked it! I like that they had a gift shop! Lol cause we went during thanksgiving and I found an excuse on buying everything as gift for christmas!

So do you know what ADR'S ur booking?

I am pretty sure on our ADR's. I know what we want so now just waiting on park hours to put everything in place. This is what I think our schedule will be:

Sunday - Arrive - Epcot - MK (EMH)
Monday - MK
Tuesday - Epcot
Wednesday - AK/ DTD
Thursday - MK
Friday - HS
Saturday - Epcot
Sunday - AK / MK (EMH)
Monday - HS
Tuesday - MK (hopefully MNSSHP)

My husband and I will be at the Beach Club 9/4-9/12. Sept. and Dec. are our two favorite times to go.

WELL WELL!! We just change our Resort! No SOG!!! Something inside me kept on saying just book a place onsite and do the dining plan! Oh yeah how about the fact I dont want to get there and stress over how much we are spending on food! LOL So We are now staying at the ASMusic in the Family suite! We got the Deluxe plan! so that being said! Being on the FOOD!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Im going to drive the poor disney cm reservation ppl nuts!! Called for the third time to change it!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I can't hardly wait either. I mean the waiting on my ADR date is making more & more antsie each day.  Not to mention waiting to tell my kids. I mean they know we are going but they don't know WHEN and I have decided to do the reveal the night before we leave so you know that wait is really REALLY making me antsie even giddy:lmao:

Looking forward to our 1st September trip to WDW we usually go in May but my sister loves disney in Sept so we our giving it a try this year. Sept 24- Oct 1 at Port Orleans. Can't wait till March to see the operating times for Sept.

Another September person here - a solo first-time visit to WDW. I'll be there the 11th-16th. So fun to have a forum to share in everyone's excitement!

We haven't booked YET, but it will be sometime this week. Last time we went peak season begining of July, and paid rack for EVERYTHING, so I am really trying to get the most bang from my buck this time. I am getting hitched up with the dining plan though, could REALLY use some advice. We will be checking into AsMfam suite on the 17th of Sept, (possibly the 18th, but I am fighting DH on that one because that just takes away one more day from me.. lol) Staying until the 25th. Am going to HP world for one day, so am up in the air if I want to stay in Dis for the entire time, and just travel to Universal, or do Sat and Sunday in a normal hotel and then Monday- Sat In Dis.

Price for the suite that we are getting for Monday through Sat is (aprox) 2800, for tix and the hotel. That is w/out the dining. It is bumping it a good 1000 with dining. Last time we went we spent well over 1000 BUT, we were down for 12 days. I am just wondering if I can figure out how to get a better deal by just planning well and paying oop. We are big character meal people so that is one of the issues. I did almost 1 character meal per day when we went in 2004.... I don't know.. I am confuzzled on what to do with the dining situation. There is still a hope and a dream that they will offer free dining, and then that would be AWESOME because I would just upgrade from counter service to the normal one. ... Who has some advice for my hurting head.

We're going September 24-October 2. It will be my fiance's first time staying onsite at Disney and eating at the TS restaurants. Can't wait for MNSSHP and F&W! Those will be firsts for both of us.

So glad you are getting to take this trip with your family, and especially your Mom. I hope that you have a truly magical time! My family and I will be going in September, so I share your enthusiasm!! My family and friends probably wish I'd stop thinking about it too! Welcome to the DisBoards!

So happy to have found people that get me and won't get tired of me talking about Disney. Taking my family to POFQ sep 12-16. I too am really hoping the 13th is the first day for MNSSHP-it's my birthday! This is my daughter's first trip and the first one my son will remember. Cannot wait for September to get here.
