Sept. 2009 @ WDW! Be a Pop Tart 2009~come share your(Bounce Back or NOT)Dates !!!

Kristin,
It sound like you handled Mary being there the best way possible so good for you. I am glad to hear that you are at least still somewhat friends and hopefully things will get better for the two of you. It also sounds like they are hoping for the best concerning her DH job. Maybe they are in panic mode thinking they need to get in the fun now incase there is no money for fun in the future? Sadly, I do not think they are alone in trying to get in the fun before there is no more. My heart goes out to them and I hope things stabalize and he doesn't lose his job.

How are things with the AC?

Melissa,
Dang, things sound like they are just falling apart over there. Hopefully you got your circuit breaker fixed.

SG,
So where are you taking Tom? Dropping him off by his brother sounds like a good gift. lol Good for you anyway. I am such a trouble maker. It does sound like you are excited about all of it too. Al's birthday is next month so is our anniversary. Too bad he is usually gone for it so no bigs plans here.

Ang

It's Friday!!!

SG, so what are the plans? You have us on the edge of our seats.

Submitted the circuit breaker problem to the builder. Didn't realize some of our items had a two year warranty, so we will see.

I posted this on FB, but thought you might enjoy the full story and have a good laugh. Last night I am walking towards Jacob's room with my hands full with his hang up laundry. All of the sudden I get hit from behind and fall over. As I am falling I hear something else fall. It seems Bubblegum bumped into my exercise ball that Jacob had put some of his toys on and got scared, running into me. I layed there a minute trying to figure out whether to laugh or cry, but once I realized I could move I started to laugh. The DH just asked if I was ok and kept going. Didn't even bother to help me pick up all the clothes. Jacob offered at least. MEN!

Where would I be without pipe dreams? It can be the spice of my life these days.:confused3 Yup, life in Greensboro could use a little, um...well, just about anything. Public transportation within walking distance would be terrific, but who's complaining? Only me.:rotfl2:

Yes, SG, where are you off to for the weekend? It is nice to see the excitement in your post. Does it mean you will have a couple of free days or is the celebrating of Tom's birthday a weekend event? :) We want it to be fun for Tom, after all it is his birthday, but wishing for a little respite for you!

Ang, no fun being separated for both birthday and anniversary. Is Al away too long to celebrate before or after? Btw, how's the weather been out your way? Thought I saw it was already chilly some days. Still hot and humid here, but this week began taking Sophia for a 1/2 hour walk every morning at 9:30 when she comes to me - think it is good for us both, even if I am practically dripping by the time we get back...sorry..tmi.

Kris, you are such a sweetie - Mary is blessed to have you as a friend (as are we ). I wish the best for her family as well.

AC working now, I hope? Fingers crossed.

Melissa!!!! OMGosh! Hope you have no soreness this morning! What a shock it must have been...but then salt into the wound when DH walked by. Guess we have men thinking we can handle every situation.;)

FRIDAY!!!! :woohoo: I really need to get a life when Friday means looking forward to The Practice on Saturday morning at 7 a.m. :sad2:

Have a delightful day, my friends!!:grouphug:

I hate to disappoint you gals but unlike yourselves there are not big exotic plans for the weekend. I am taking Tom to a country retreat a few hours from here. It is called Bearcreek Farms and is by the Ohio border, near Richmond, IN. We have been there many times. Found it by accident many years ago. It is an inexpensive and pleasant place to spend a few days and is within my capabilities. It gives Tom his two favorite things, going somewhere and having all the food he can eat. He left for the CC early and so I have had time to pack the suitcase, neaten the house and even get on my laptop for a bit. I will head over later and take a cake for everyone to share. He has no friends, real ones at least, so this will be his party. I used to be a big celebrator and had big parties for everything and decorated to the hilt for everything, including Groundhog Day, but I am no longer able. The last party about killed me. I have to do it all, before, during and after.

Yes, Ang, I am looking forward to a couple of days away as well. It is a small place and Tom is familiar with it so he can wander a bit. They have an Elvis collection right now and the show is "Oklahoma". Only a few hours drive too. Do you and Al celebrate when he gets back?

JM, that is plain awful, your husband just stepping over you and going about his way. At least he asked if you were alright. That is more than I would get. If you had said you were not alright would he have stopped? Would someone please remind me why we got married in the first place? :lmao:

Have to check some last minute things so I do not forget anything really important. Going to dig out my small fan so I can sleep tonight.

SG

Melissa,
Now I really wish Jonah and Al met because I think they would have gotten along like brothers. I once fell on ice in a parking lot and was laughing too hard to get up right away. We were with friends and the one guy said to Al "Well aren't you going to help her up. His response was "She got herself down there so I am sure she can get herself back up." MEN!!! Karma got him back when he fell on ice in the parking lot of a waffle house a few years later and I stood there laughing and told him the same thing "you got down there I am sure you can get back up"

You must have been shocked at first as to what the heck ran into you though. Glad your OK.

Christine,
Your walks sound like a nice peaceful thing for you and Sophia in the morning. As for no bus service it would be nice but at least it sounds like you have sidewalks. The poor seniors (not that I am refering to you as one just saying we have no transportation either) out by me (in the cornfields) have no bus or sidewalks to walk on. They have to rely on family and friends to take them where they need to go. That or they dangerously get behind the wheel, and drive 30 mph down our 55 mph road where most people drive 80 mph. When they had it on the ballot last time to pay more taxes so they could provide a small bus for the seniors I was all for it. With how high the taxes are here you would think they could have provided them limo service for years now. lol

Yes it has been cold here. It is going up to 67 for a high today. We have been stuck with a cold front all summer and I love the heat. It probably helps that I rarely sweat and when I do it is never a dripping sweat. We are supposed to get down to 45 at night sometime this week. I don't want the heat kicking in this early in the year either. Oil heat is too expensive to start running in August.

SG,
I am glad to hear you are excited about going to your retreat. You enjoy yourself and I hope Mr. Tom does too. So young Tom is off at his CC job entertaining the seniors this morning? lol Hey they must be somewhat friends with him over there or they would leave when he came in, right?

You enjoy yourself and the entertainment while you are away. You are taking your computer so we can get updates, right?

Is TB back yet? Did Jan Jan leave yet?

Have a happy Friday everyone.

M&N, do you really think I would leave Tom behind on his birthday for a getaway? You do not know me. :lmao: Now Tom has often left me on our anniversary, my BD, etc. if his brother gives him a better option but since it means that I do not have to take care of him for a few days I find I do not mind one bit. Would be nice if things were different, but they are not and never will be. Could be far worse though.:scared1:

Pipe dreams are what get me though life also. I think it is so of most people really. No matter what our situation there are those in much worse shape. I found myself 'complaining' about only ONE vacation this year and when questioned had to fess up that it was for a whole two weeks.:woohoo: I am loathe to not go on vacation even though it might not make a whole lot of sense financially but since we do not know what the future holds and life is apt to run out before the money, if we are lucky, we go when we can. Let the devil take the hindmost.

Any progress on a potential trip for yourself?

SG (who is shutting down and packing up now)

Ang, that would be my life as well! And hey, what the heck..I am almost officially a "senior" ~ 62 this November ~ but for the life of me, do not think of myself in that group. I think of seniors as white haired ladies in their 70's. :)

No sidewalks and nowhere to walk to...we take a stroll around the "neighborhood" ~ being a city girl, used to walking down busy streets with shops and people, this does not feel a like a real neighborhood, but we do have houses, so we're not in the boondocks. ;)

Oh, yes, SG, looking forward hearing from you, if possible. The place you are going sounds delightful! Of course you wouldn't leave Tom on his birthday :3dglasses ...guess I was thinking of a celebration with his brother and then him staying on for a couple of days. Best of both worlds.:thumbsup2

Yep, I keep looking at late November, early Dec, but lately my sil has become (well he always has been this way, but we hoped it would get better) even more clueless about caring for Sophia. It is all about HIM.period. She comes second or third ...after his playing on the computer, eating, watching sports (24/7).

The other day she was starving and even tho I suggested he might want to try a snack (she has a very clear hungry fuss/cry) he said no, she was fine. When Mia went down after work (he had Sophia for an hour at the end of the day), Sophia was ravenous. I keep telling myself she will be 15 mos Dec 2nd and surely he can care for her properly? Dunno...do I take a chance?

Okay.. went off on such a tangent forgot what else I was going to say!:confused3
Oh! I was just thinking about TB and Jan Jan this morning.:)

We'll look forward to a check-in SG, if possible.

/
SG, your trip sounds wonderful. Most of the time those little places you stumble upon are the best. Just like hole-in-the-wall restaurants, ok I'm missing my Tex-Mex back in Texas.

M&N, your DSIL sounds a little like my Jonas. I have to work to get him to do things with Jacob. But he will make sure the boy is fed. Sorry you have to deal with that.

Any chance of you still moving to Tampa. Lots of sidewalks. In fact the highway to our subdivision is being widened to 6 lanes and will have sidewalks and a bicycle path.

Well I did it. Cancelled all ADR's for this coming weekend. Just the thought of having to stop what we are doing to rush somewhere to eat or plan our day around a meal. We will have our truck so we can always go in to town and eat. Or, eat at Rainforest Cafe, thanks again Ang for talking me into it.j

Ang, I guess you and your DH have been separated a lot, I know that feeling. We've actually been very lucky, so many families are separated more often and longer.

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Guess all has been quiet on the western front since I have been gone. I did take my laptop but for some reason I could watch Netflix and receive messages but could not send them. I might have been able to change settings but just did not want to do so for such a short period of time and I did not much time for computing anyway. The productions of "Oklahoma" were really good. I was not looking forward to them, having seem many such and it is not my most favorite of the R&H productions. (South Pacific is) Got to meet the cast a couple of times and they were an interesting group. Lots of food, nothing remotely diet and even though I attempted to be very careful I managed to bring home an additional 8 pounds. It comes on so fast and easily and goes off so very slowly and with great effort, otherwise I would be the skinniest person in the world. I have lost over 400 pounds in the past few years but also gained about 270 so I hold steady at about 130# loss. I had been down in new pounds before the gain though. sigh

These past couple of days have me wondering even more on how I am going to be able to do at DW, keeping Tom calm and keeping myself alive. I am weaker than I had previously thought. Need some exercise, other than housework, yardwork etc.

M&N, most men are clueless and even the ones who are not are thwarted by us women who know better and tend to take over. It is a hard situation sometimes. This is a very rough week so I am not sure when I will be able to call you. I will ASAP though.

Ang and M&N, I love the idea of public transportation but around here the costs are horrendous when you consider how few folks use it. It has actually been found to be cheaper to just give taxi chits to the riders. Of course then the ridership would increase. It is a hard thing. I am taking folks to the grocery and such now as there is no transportation between here and anywhere else. There are sidewalks and such though and even a few destinations. Plenty of cheap housing ($50K even) though. The town we shop in has call a bus where you call the day before and reserve a time. It costs 50 cents a trip, each way. That seems, to me, to be a good thing even though a bit inconvenient for some. When I go to my doctors there is often someone waiting for that bus and I sometimes take the person home. I feel sorry for folks with no transportation. It is the hardest on the poor and then they are forced to shop locally, where it is always more expensive. Not sure what the answer is. In my small town we know each other and folks can generally find help with such. I am rambling, tired.

JM, I think you did right in canceling the ADR's. You might want to try out the Orlando Ale House, up to the left of Crossroads. It is a family friendly sports bar with upscale food and good prices. I have been reading of folks who have been offered the upgraded food at the Values who do not care to be upgraded for that reason. I concur.

Going to go get a cold drink and sit in my red chair a bit and rest.

SG

Kristin or TB,
Did either of you notice if they allowed you to trade TS credits for CS and snacks or a gift this year like they have in the past during free dining. I heard rumor that they changed it this year and it is no longer allowed but I wanted to verify with someone I trust if that is true.

Thanks,
Angela

For those of not "lucky" enough to get this in an email, you cannot get away so easily.;) I laughed so hard for fear someone had made this up due to a few things I've told friends I do now when traveling (or shopping. lol). :rotfl:

I just want to thank all of you for your educational e-mails over the past
year. I am totally screwed up now and have little chance of recovery.

I no longer open a public bathroom door without using a paper towel or have
them put lemon slices in my ice water without worrying about the bacteria on
the lemon peel.

I can't use the remote in a hotel room because I don't know what the last
person was doing while flipping through the adult movie channels.
I can't sit down on the hotel bedspread because I can only imagine what has
happened on it since it was last washed.

I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has been driving because the
number one pastime while driving alone is picking ones nose (although cell
phone usage may be taking the number one spot).
Eating a little snack sends me on a guilt trip because I can only imagine
how many gallons of Trans fats I have consumed over the years.

I can't touch any woman's purse for fear she has placed it on the floor of a
public bathroom.

I MUST SEND MY SPECIAL THANKS to whoever sent me the one about poop in the
glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet sponge with every envelope
that needs sealing.

ALSO, now I have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.

I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl (Penny
Brown) who is about to die in the hospital for the 1,387,258th time.

I no longer have any money at all, but that will change once I receive the
$15,000 that Bill Gates/Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating
in their special e-mail program.

I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels looking out
for me, and St. Theresa's Novena has granted my every wish.
I no longer eat KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant
freaks with no eyes or feathers..

I no longer use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water
buffalo on a hot day.

THANKS TO YOU I have learned that my prayers only get answered if I forward
an e-mail to seven of my friends and make a wish within five minutes.

BECAUSE OF YOUR CONCERN, I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove
toilet stains.

I no longer can buy gasoline without taking someone along to watch the car
so a serial killer won't crawl in my back seat when I'm pumping gas.

I no longer drink Pepsi or Dr.. Pepper since the people who make these
products are atheists who refuse to put 'Under God' on their cans.

I no longer use Saran Wrap in the microwave because it causes cancer.
AND THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW I can't boil a cup of water in the microwave
anymore because it will blow up in my face.. Disfiguring me for life.

I no longer check the coin return on pay phones because I could be pricked
with a needle infected with AIDS.

I no longer go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with a perfume
sample and rob me.

I no longer receive packages from UPS or Fed Ex since they are actually Al
Qaeda in disguise.

I no longer shop at Target since they are French and don't support our
American troops or the Salvation Army.

I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a number
for which I will get a phone bill with calls to Jamaica , Uganda , Singapore
, and Uzbekistan ..

I no longer buy expensive cookies from Neiman Marcus since I now have their
recipe.

THANKS TO YOU I can't use anyone's toilet but mine because a big brown
African spider is lurking under the seat to cause me instant death when it
bites my butt..

AND THANKS TO YOUR GREAT ADVICE I can't ever pick up $5.00 dropped in the
parking lot because it probably was placed there by a sex molester waiting
underneath my car to grab my leg.

I can no longer drive my car because I can't buy gas from certain gas
companies!

I can't do any gardening because I'm afraid I'll get bitten by the brown
recluse and my hand will fall off.

If you don't send this e-mail to at least 144,000 people in the next 70
minutes, a large dove with diarrhea will land on your head at 5:00 p.m.
Tomorrow afternoon and the fleas from 12 camels will infest your back,
causing you to grow a hairy hump. I know this will occur because it actually
happened to a friend of my next door neighbors'
ex-mother-in-law's second husband's cousin's beautician . .

Oh, by the way.....

A German scientist from Argentina , after a lengthy study, has discovered
that people with insufficient brain activity read their e-mail with their
hand on the mouse..

Don't bother taking it off now, it's too late..

I now keep my toothbrush in the living room, because water splashes over 6
ft.. out of the commode.

Sorry, can't help 'ya...didn't ask, didn't try...wish I could go back and find out for 'ya :teleport:

M&N :lmao:  :rotfl:

Its amazing how comfortable 90 feels when your used to 100+ :sunny:

:rotfl2: I enjoyed that M&N, I will have to let Jonas read it when he gets home.

I just have to post one I got on why women go to the bathroom in pairs:

When you have to visit a public bathroom, you usually find a line of women, so you smile politely and take your place.
Once it's your turn, you check for feet under the stall doors. Every stall is occupied.

Finally, a door opens and you dash in, nearly knocking down the woman leaving the stall. You get in to find the door won't latch. It doesn't matter, the wait has been so long you are about to wet your pants! The dispenser for the modern "seat covers" (invented by someone's Mom, no doubt) is handy, but empty. You would hang your purse on the door hook, if there was one, but there isn't - so you carefully, but quickly drape it around your neck, (Mom would
turn over in her grave if you put it on the FLOOR!), yank down your pants, and assume " The Stance."

In this position your aging, toneless (God I should have gone to the gym!!!) thigh muscles begin to shake. You'd love to sit down, but you certainly hadn't taken time to wipe the seat or lay toilet paper on it, so you hold "The Stance".

To take your mind off your trembling thighs, you reach for what you discover to be the empty toilet paper dispenser. In your mind, you can hear your mother's voice saying, "Honey, if you had tried to clean the seat, you would have KNOWN there was no toilet paper!" Your thighs shake more. You remember the tiny tissue that you blew your nose on yesterday - the one that's still in your purse. (Oh yeah, the purse around your neck, that now, you have to hold up trying not to strangle yourself at the same time). That will have to do. You crumple it in the puffiest way possible. It's still smaller than your thumbnail.

Someone pushes your door open because the latch doesn't work. The door hits your purse, which is hanging around your neck in front of your chest, and you and your purse topple backward against the tank of the toilet. "Occupied!" you scream, as you reach for the door, dropping your precious, tiny, crumpled tissue in a puddle on the floor, lose your footing altogether, and slide down directly onto the TOILET SEAT. It is wet of course.

You bolt up, knowing all too well that it's too late. Your bare bottom has made contact with every imaginable germ and life form on the uncovered seat because YOU never laid down toilet paper - not that there was any, even if you had taken time to try. You know that your mother would be utterly appalled if she knew, because, you're certain her bare bottom never touched a public toilet seat because, frankly, dear, "You just don't KNOW what kind of diseases you could get".

By this time, the automatic sensor on the back of the toilet is so confused that it flushes, propelling a stream of water like a fire hose against the inside of the bowl that sprays a fine mist of water that covers your butt and runs down your legs and into your shoes. The flush somehow sucks everything down with such force that you grab onto
the empty toilet paper dispenser for fear of being dragged in too At this point, you give up. You're soaked by the spewing water and the wet toilet seat. You're e-x-h-a-u-s-t-e-d. You try to wipe with a gum wrapper you found in your pocket and then slink out inconspicuously to the sinks.

You can't figure out how to operate the faucets with the automatic sensors, .....so you wipe your hands with spit and a dry paper towel and walk past the line of women still waiting. You are no longer able to smile politely to them. A kind soul at the very end of the line points out a piece of toilet paper trailing from your shoe. (Where was that when you NEEDED it??) You yank the paper from your shoe, plunk it in the woman's hand and tell her warmly, "Here, you just might need this".

As you exit, you spot your hubby, who has long since entered, used, and left the men's restroom. Annoyed, he asks, "What took you so long, and why is your purse hanging around your neck?" ...................

This is dedicated to women everywhere who deal with a public restrooms (rest??? you've GOT to be kidding!!). It finally explains to the men what really does take us so long. It also answers their other commonly asked questions about why women go to the restroom in pairs. It's so the other gal can hold the door, hang onto your purse, and hand you Kleenex under the door!

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Melissa :lmao: I nearly woke up sleeping Sophia (who is, as always, napping on my bed).

That is hilarious!!!! LOVE IT!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

And so darn true!! :rotfl:

No, I had not seen that. Too cute! To think my Bubblegum use to be so cute. Thanks for posting M&N.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7mOzWQSnaQ

I found this while looking at the man who was singing to the puppies. (made me wonder if he did so with his children though) :rotfl:

M&N, I live right off the town square, lots of sidewalks and little shops and restaurants as well as a park in the middle of it all. If you are very careful to get the right neighbors you can find an inexpensive home even. Do you walk in the streets? It is not as much fun to walk if you do not have a destination. Are there parks nearby or a school yard, something?

JM, one more factoid to know. Hanging your purse on the back of a restroom stall makes it easy for someone to reach over and grab it while your pants are handing around your knees and cannot run after them. Always something. :rolleyes1

Ang, to me a friend is someone who calls or visits or you can call or visit. No one calls Tom, no one visits. He only has two brothers who he can call and even they sometimes do not pick up the phone, usually after the sixth call of the day. He sits in the room at the Senior Center alone much of the time. No one invites him to go anywhere with them. Few folk want to take care of someone else and especially when they do not have a relationsip with them. When I took the cake for his birthday he ignored everyone and went to turn on the TV to watch. From all reports this is his normal habit. Like I did not already know. It is his way. Sometimes when a grandchild calls to talk to me he still throws fits but not nearly as much as he used to as I no longer pay heed. His dad did not 'allow' his mom to talk on the phone.

I am rested up from the trip. Sorry I did not email but for some odd reason I could receive emails and even watched a Netflix movie one afternoon but could not send emails. I might have been able to change settings and done so but that was too much trouble for just a couple of days. I had a gain of 9 pounds for the week. That is an impossible number. Even if I had eaten 24/7 it is an impossible number and I did not. I knew I would have a gain because I was forced to eat a couple of things that I would not have ordinarily done but not that much! I chose the veggie soup and sandwich over the buffet and only ate two meals a day. It is frustrating. Nearly decimated the progress I had made so far this year.

SG

Hello everyone.

Kristin,
I wish you could go back and find out for me too. lol I know we will be burned out on sit down dinners and being on a schedule after a few days but it looks like this year it's eat them or lose them.

I bet the 90's were refreshing after a summer of 100's. I wish I could have sent you the lower 40's we got the other night so it would cool you off some. Sadly, winter is coming here sooner than we are ready for but I bet you are ready for it.

I am glad you aren't getting any of these hurricanes that keep forming in the Atlantic because I fear what they would do with how hot the water must be in the gulf this year.

Melissa,
DH is home for a couple hours every week so at least I get to see him a bit every week. Then once in a while he is home for a week and some weeks I am ready to get him out so I can keep the house clean. He always makes sure he is here between Christmas and New Years too.

SG,
So glad you had a great time. I understand the weight gain as each visit to Disney puts me up 20 lbs even if I power walk in the park 8 hours a day and only eat half my meals and I don't even like fried foods like french fries. I usually take off half of it pretty fast due to all the salt in the food there. It is the other half that haunts me and takes forever. I swear I have no metabolism at all. My heart goes out to you because I know how frustrating it is. I guess we all have to have some struggle in life.

M&N,
Some men just don't have the instinct to take care of kids and then again some women are missing that instinct too.

I will share with you what a child psychologist friend told me one time that floored me but does make sense. This happened when DS was 4 that I happened to mention in front of her that I would be lucky if Will was fed let alone washed, in his PJ's and sleeping when I got home at 10pm that night. I commented that DH would have let him run wild and destroy the house instead. DH only fed him if he himself was hungry and that always consisted of balogna sandwiches even if I left other food for him. She said she bet he would be alive and happy when I got there and to realize that is what matters most. How true is that and he was alive and thrilled when I walked through the door. He knew I would kiss him, feed him, and help him get ready for bed. He had a blast with the night of no stucture and being free as the wild thing he is and I had a night of worrying about him over nothing I couldn't fix when I got there. lol I always remembered what she said when I would worry while DH was in charge of him.

Ang

Hey all--just popped on for a minute to check in, and you're having too much telling funny stories without me! At least they'll be here waiting for me to catch up on next week (because I'm sure I'll have nothing else to do).

Ang--I'll ask about the TS/CS credits and report back. I, too, prefer the QSDDP, but dh likes to have his one sit down meal a day. And when it's free, can't complain! Kris--come on back so you can report, too! Then you could squeeze in the Halloween party!

JM--wish we were going to MNSSHP with you, but hoping to see you sometime before we leave. I don't blame you one bit for cancelling the ADR's--I would have done the same. Hoping the low crowds stay that way for your big weekend!

S/G--Glad you had a good time for Tom's birthday, but sorry about the weight gain. I fear what I'll find when I step on the scale after this trip.

M&N--Happy (belated?) birthday to baby Sophia! Wish you all could have spent it at WDW, but that trip will come soon enough.

I should probably do something productive, like eat up another snack credit, lol. Talk to you soon!

Good morning folks! Getting ready to go to town and thought I would see what you were all up to. No good as usual. :rotfl:

Ang, I have never gained weight at DW in all my many trips. This huge gain thing is a new symptom and not one I am liking at all. I am back to eating my usual food and we shall see what happens, nothing yet though. You only see Al a couple of hours a week? No wonder you guys are crazy about each other. :rotfl: All kidding aside, that has to be very difficult on you both. How is school going so far? BTW, I found the Goofy ears underneath some stuff the other day. Would Will like them for this upcoming trip?

TB, did you trade any TS for CS's? If so, did they also give you extra snack credits or anything? I am reading reports that it is a simple one for one trade now. It does not matter to me but Ang is trying to find out the info.

I found a delightful FB entry this morning. It was from an old classmate of mine from HS days. She has had a hard life and it is such a shame because she was the nicest gal. It will be nice to catch up though.

Had a nice dinner with DD and family last night. She showed me her new bathroom, lovely, and kept apologizing for 'messes' in her house. (sigh) She knows me not. She works all day long and the last thing I would want is for her to go home and kill herself doing housework. We sat at the kitchen table and I listened to her latest ideas. She seems to be more stable on the subject of religion and might get over her radical ideas at some time. We all live and learn, well most of us. :hippie: Guess that is what I get for telling her she was allowed to think for herself and not have to agree with me. :cool1:

Off I go, to the bank, to the doctor, to take Tom bowling etc. etc.

Have a great day and may you get the ADR of your dreams, whatever that might be.
