Who is everyones favorite team on AR?
Ang

Go Margie & Luke :cheer2:
margie_luke.jpg

SG, I forgot to say that Jacob does read the Magic Treehouse books.

Remi from Ratatouille is WDW latest interactive animatronic appearing at the restaurant in France.

Margi and Luke are probably my favorites also on AR. JT is my fav on Survivor. Don't think anyone mentioned AI, but I like Adam, Kris, and Allison.

We got the Mustang out again and went to Olive Garden for lunch today. Since Jacob doesn't eat much, I don't eat out like that when DH is gone. Sure was good to get out. Glad DH is home and is off work until Wednesday.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

I have only seen Ratatouille once and since the very idea of food prepared by rodents, not nearly as cute as Mickey, revolts me I had plumb forgot his name. They have an animation at the French restaurant? I would have thought it too snooty for such. Must have missed that posting. Thanks for the education!

JM, a Mustang was my dream car way back when. What year do you have? Tom has offered to buy me one but it is impractical nowadays. Brand new they were about $2,500 back in my day but that was a years salary. I am so happy that you guys are all together and enjoying this time. :yay:

Diva K, how I wish I could join you all. On the other hand I am delighted that you are all going to be there and I can enjoy it vicariously at least. Please have a drink for me. I promise you that I will feel the effects. :dance3:

Tom is sick, I think. He is still in bed, his favorite place. I have to go into town to get rid of some old electronics as they are having amnesty day today until 3. It is only about ten minutes away. My grandson reset some timbers around my raised veggie garden for me last night. They look nice. That is important to me. I am sick, mentally. I love perfection. Never had it but I will know it when I see it!:woohoo: Everything is growing and flourishing. Have made a deal with my neighbor. I will grow the stuff this year and then later when he is feeling better and is out watering his flowers (from his well) he can aim the hose over the veggie garden. We will share the produce. It is a great thing to get him to accept even this little bit of attempted kindness. He will be 80 this year and is the hardest working man I have ever known. I love him, in a non Peyton Place kind of way.

Later, SG

SG, I thought the same thing when I saw the French restaurant was doing something like that. Want to try it now, never did before.

Sorry to hear Tom is sick. And very cool that you were able to work out a deal with the neighbor.

The Mustang is a 2007. DH had one in college and has always wanted another. We got him one when we moved to TX, an 04. He loved the new ones and when he went to Iraq we sold the 04. While he was Iraq we got into an email battle over whether or not we could afford a new one. My thought was, after spending a year in Iraq he should get his car. The next day he emailed his dream sheet. I ordered it and then had it repainted with racing stripes and a different spoiler. It was waiting in the garage when he got home. I've always been a Corvette person, Dad had a 62 when I was growing up. But, I do like the Mustangs. One of my co-workers has a 1996 Mustang with only about 40,000 miles. And she drives it to work everyday, but no out of town trips or anything with it.

I need to hop in the bathtub so I can get my boys out of this house and do something. Have a great day!

:goodvibes Good morning... back home in Pa.... to all my FB friends... i think that is it.. the pictures are all in... my live trip report has now concluded

Ok... going to read some updates from you peeps!!!

Timmy,
WB to reality. Only 5 weeks till I will be in Disney. Yeah!!! It is what 6 weeks for you?

Linda,
I love Remy and I love dining in France. I really didn't notice any stuffiness the few times we ate there but then again I tend to block that type of thing out. Rattoullie was one of my favorite Disney movies sorry you didn't like it. I can understand you point though.

Sorry Tom is sick.

Glad to hear you and neighbor are like neighbors should be.

Melissa,
I only watch AR so can't say I have a favorite on the other shows. It looks like we are all for Margie and Luke.

Olive Garden yummy. I haven't been there in a long time. Hope you enjoyed the time together and just getting out.

I love old Mustangs like a 1968 or 1969 convertable Mustang and so does my DH. DS likes the new ones. My problem is that I really don't care what I drive as long as it is dependable and doesn't need a whole lot of upkeep.

At one point DH wanted an older Mercedes 350 DSL/diesel long version so we got him one and I hated driving that thing. It was way too obnoxious as everyone commented on it that they loved it and wanted to talk to me about it. My one friends son even begged me to use it for prom so we let him. Now that I own a Toyota the only rare comment I get is from people who love the color of my car or want to know the MPG. I like a car that blends in. lol

Have a great weekend everyone.

Ang

Welcome back Timmy! Enjoyed the live TR!

Ang, I obviously get the showoff car from my Dad, but now I have my truck I blend in a lot more. At least in TX and Florida. In DC I stuck out like a sore thumb. We would love to have an old Mustang, but until we can afford all the repairs (DH isn't very mechanical) not going to happen.

My Mom has always wanted the Mercedes that Bobby Ewing drove on Dallas. The little red convertible.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. We ended up at Fantasia Miniature Golf yesterday. Our first time and it was great. Wonderful weather and not too crowded.

We have to make a puppet out of recyclable materials today. Should be interesting. I'll try to take a photo of it.

Have a great Sunday!
Melissa

Ok... going to read some updates from you peeps!!!

Welcome back! It was mighty quiet around here without you! :rotfl: Did you send me a FB invite? Do you have an odd FB name? I have one that I can't figure out (and I have an irrational fear of stalkers. Irrational because I passed stalkability several years and pounds ago).

JM--glad dh is home, and you got to go out for a ride and lunch. You can only do so much :surfweb: and :laundy: before you go stir crazy!

SG--sorry Tom is sick--not as much for him as for you. Mine's been sick all week, too. Fortunately (for me) it was a stomach thing so he couldn't eat much. Otherwise, I would have been inundated with requests for special foods. Sick kids are definitely much easier than sick dh's!

Kris--Petals!

Ang--I like my inconspicuous minivan, too. Don't want to draw too much attention to myself--might attract stalkers! :rotfl2: Finally wrestled the Twilight book from dd and started reading it last night. So far I like it better than the movie (but isn't that always the case?).

Nothing else new to report here, so have a great Sunday everyone!

:rotfl: It's funny you say this. A high school classmate asked me to be a friend. One of those guys you know, but don't really know. Never really spoke to each other or anything. I added him, but don't know why he added me?

yup that was me... a very odd creature that is... :lmao: nope I dont intend to stalk you... I am to busy stalking Ang and Linda... you'll have your turn eventually... the most recent one was Cheryl!!! Thanks Cheryl for putting up with me... me and my slowpokeness enjoyed every moment with you but still not happy you beat me at TSM.. I need a Re match!!!!

:rotfl: I added him, but don't know why he added me?

some just wants to be a Super FB'er gotta have that number up for number of friends... but with the new FB updates.. I am already confused with the lil number of friends I have :faint: can keep up!!!:confused3

Adam, Allison, Danny...I thought Scott was great and sorry when he was voted off...:sad1:
Looking forward to TAR tonight :happytv:

Couple of guys from college "requested my friendship" one I didn't even recognize but my DH did...the other one was a jerk and never spoke to me back then, I waited months before I accepted him...thought he might be a nice guy now...:rolleyes1
Actually blocked someone from high school...they won't be able to find me if they look

Don't think I want to see the movie...I think it will be too scary for me :scared:

We are all consumed with swine flu coverage down here...one of our districts high school's is closed ALL week because three kids there have been digonsed!

Ah, mystery solved. I've allowed you into my inner circle. Just be glad I didn't let you in sooner, because yesterday I inadvertantly flooded everyone with updates about my flair page--d'oh! :headache: Fortunately, no one has given me the boot yet.

And for reality shows, the only one I watch is AI, and I suspect Adam will take it. I really like him, but his high voice thing kinda freaks me out. Also like Allison and Kris, but they aren't as consistent as Adam. Danny is consistent, but way overrated, IMHO. Both he and Matt, on whom the judge's save was wasted--it should have been used way back when to keep Alexis Grace in the top 10! Now I shall step down off my soap box.

That is very scary. I didn't even think about it until I saw your post on Facebook, but it probably didn't help with the number of people that go to San Antonio from Mexico for Easter. I hope all the kids are ok.

We had a TB scare here. A child was diagnosed with it and many kids are being tested over the weekend. It is on the other side of Tampa from us.

I also just saw a headline about Measles up North. What is going on?

I would have responded earlier but I am hungover from the drinking that Diva K has been doing in my name. :rotfl:

JM, I teared up at the story of you getting that car for your hubby. In the same circumstances, even if I could not afford it, I would have done the same. I truly think that is why I have always married much older men as the guys my age were all going to Vietnam and such. I was a Red Cross girl and volunteered back in those days so I had plenty of opportunity.

Ang, I am with you on the car thing. I love gadgets so one might think I would might be a car freak but I am for dependable and paid for. If I won the lottery I would love old cars as I could afford to keep them running though. :goodvibes

Ants, it is so good to have you back but we were so glad that you were able to go and enjoy! I love your joy of life. BTW, Jello makes a pretty good leche flan for about 60 calories in the refrigerated section. :wizard:

Diva K, since I stocked up in preparation for the bird flu I am set for the Swine Flu as well. I hope it is contained. Yet anothe reason why we need to be concerned for the welfare of our southern neighbors. Folks down there are dying while they are not here and the difference is the availability of medical care. Even these days we are a blessed society. Make sure you stock up on hand cleaning stuff and such. It does not go bad so it will not be wasted.

TB, I have had some requests from Classmate.com for me to join but when I checked the names I was not too interested. I was a class nerd in those days and suffered greatly. Turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. Very small class and from all reports not many have had good lives. I am sorry for the fact. The good thing about not being a beauty queen in HS is that I am better looking now, still no beauty queen though. :rotfl: Still a nerd though but I enjoy it! I think that many folks reach out for people they knew in their youth to have someone to share those memories with. People are seldom who they were in HS, usually.

BTW, my husband is not under foot usually. He wakes up late, goes to the CC for a few hours to gossip, comes home for lunch, sits at the kitchen table and watches TV and talks on the phone until it is time to go to bed. Think inert object and you have a general idea. He is willing to go anywhere anytime though. All it requires is for him to get into the passenger seat and if he has hopes of eating out he is happy.
