SEPT 2009 code watch

Hi I was just reading this thread and was wondering, how do you get these pin codes? Why are they attached to your name?

Just an FYI - I booked my flights today through AirTran, and I was able to get them for $54 each way because of some sale they are having. Jsut thought I'd mention it for anyone who still needs to get their flights worked out!

Keep an eye on your flights. They tend to change their flights alot. Especially closer to the date. They may only change by a few minutes, to an hour or so or even canceling it. Better safe than sorry so keep an eye out.

OMG, Sept in Disney is like Africa HOT...

If it's Free.... It's for Me....

:lmao:

I totally agree!

We've been laughing about the commercial where they guy says the hotel gave us two shampoos,
and the wife says "They want to get you to give a good review."
and the guy says "IT'S WORKING, OH, IT'S WORKING!"

That's how dh and I feel about Free Dining.
They offered it to entice us to go.
And we did.
Twice.

It's working, oh it's working!

LOL

My dh says it has hurt WDW in a way, though.
He won't go back without Free Dining. LOL

So far so good, come on Sept. '09!!!!

I work in an ice rink. lol I am so used to being cold all the time. Heat or no heat. I'm in...

Hi! I'm new to this forum, but amazed at all the information out here. Looks like I have hours and hours of reading ahead of me! :)

My husband and I are just starting to plan to take our daughter (3 at time of trip) for her first visit to WDW in Sept. 2009. We are talking about Sept. 12 - 19th, but can be flexibile if there is a great deal for another date.

In my defense..lol I was there 2 Sept ago and it was 95 and up all week. I also have a son 14 in a wheelchair and the poor kid was soaked everyday. :goodvibes

Hi Penel3! I called in on Mon & the code was attached to my DH name. So, FD is not a general discount *yet*. It saved us around $700 on a 9d/8n stay at POP (for 2ad/2ch.) :cheer2: What are the details of your bounceback? I would definitely guess that Sept 4-12 will be included in the FD once it's released. (That being said, you'll only be able to apply one discount per ressie.) Best wishes! :goodvibes
Our bounceback was 30% off deluxe, and we were in concierge level and booked concierge level, we didn't even book the dining plan this time because two weeks ago we ended our deluxe dining with 9 meals and 9 snacks wasted (yes, I know how we could have used our snacks but we procrastinated in the park and by the time we realized it all the snack places and shops were closed-EMH at Epcot)
We did end up with soooo much food anyway, and with concierge level, we have breakfast, drinks and appetizers anyway.

I was there then, too and it was hot. My baby was 3 mos. old so I wore him in a Baby Bjorn the whole week, ate what I wanted the entire week and lost 4 lbs. from the walking and SWEATING I did!! LOL!!:rotfl: I would take the baby off and my shirt would be soaked....ugh!! But it was SO worth it!!!:thumbsup2

Okay, I just signed up for this forum today...found it on facebook! I thought if I read all 50 pages... :lmao: ...you guys were going to tell me some secret to getting a discount no one else gets...and now I'm just confused.

Where can I get this free meals or 40% off discounts?

Help a newbie out! :flower3:

That's the $64,000 question - no one really knows why some people get discount e-mails or postcards, and some don't. Or why some get discounts they can't use - since it's only me going, my FD pin doesn't help, but I'd love a 40% off code!

If you learn anything, please let us know!

Nevermind...I found a thread that answers most of my questions. I thought I had read them all. :teacher:

Most sales at WDW are public.
So they are advertised to everyone.
Amazingly enough, most people don't even realize there are sales, or bother to look into it.
You already are on the path to "Frugal WDW Enlightenment" by asking the question. :lmao:

There are also sales which come in the form of "pin numbers,"
basically coupons,
only to be used by the person who is named on the sale flyer or email.

Occasionally there are sales available to select groups,
such as Disney Visa holders
(who also sometimes get advanced notice and opportunity on general public sales),
Florida residents, or Annual Pass Holders.

The good news is...this is the place to be.
The Disboards have never failed me to let me know what sales are available to ME.

So WELCOME! If there is a good deal to be had, these people will find it! :thumbsup2

Very well described! :thumbsup2

We're booked Sept 3 to the 17th with free dining bounceback. My Mom and Dad have decided that they would like to come for a week along with our friends. So now I'm on the look out for a code for them.
