Has any one had any problems getting the hotel they want using this new free dining pin??? My fiance and I are thinking about going in September for our honeymoon, but he won't get on the ball and call Disney and now we have the pin code, but I am worried that the hotels we want might be booking up quickly. We are planning to stay in one of the deluxe resorts.

I would definitely book the resort you want. You have to put down a $200 deposit, but you can cancel without penalty 45 days in advance. Better to have it and not need it than to be frozen out - there are limited numbers of rooms available for each promotion.

I got a postcard (pin code) in the mail yesterday for 40% off that covers September. This is the first time I've ever gotten a postcard. We weren't planning on going to WDW this year but now this discount has me thinking about a long weekend trip - DH's b-day is Friday Sept 25 so he'd get into the park for free and DD doesn't have school that day!

IF we go we'd stay at the Poly Thu Sep 24 - Sun Sep 27.
Gotta go crunch some numbers .....

Thanks for adding me Holly. What does it means to be on the code watch anyway, this is my first one?

It means you getting pass the time obsessively checking the boards to see it there are any discounts that apply to you, When new general codes come out we often hear about it here on the dis boards a couple days before the codes are actually released.

My fiance just called to let me know we are booked!! We will be honeymooning at Disney September 20-27

At least for us anyway. We have a grand gathering in September. Some of us got the free dining code and some of us got the 40% off. The difference in price was only about $70! We all booked a package with dining hoppers and room at POFQ. Just an idea for anyone who is trying to decide between the two.

We are planning a trip to WDW/POR during Sept 20-25 and were hoping to find out about any discounts. We are planning on buying our airline tickets now to take advantage of low rates...then buy our resort/tickets later when any discounts arise.

Last year we went in early Sept and had free dining plan with our stay at WL...enjoyed it tremendously.

Any word on free dining plan this Fall? Any other discount codes or plans?

Any advice?

Some people have gotten either free dining or 40% off room pin codes for September. If you haven't seen anything in your email or mail, your best bet is to call Disney and ask if you or your wife have a pin code attached to your name. We have a grand gathering in September and we called and almost every person going had a pin code attached to their name! Good luck!

seriously hoping for free dining in sept or oct. I recieved the 40% off code but staying at a value resort doesn't save you tons of money like free dining.

Thanks for that but I'm hoping for a room discount or free dining as I'm from the UK so have purchased 14 and 21 day tickets (One daughter staying for 18 nights, other staying with me for 28 nights). We were able to get free dining when we last visited in 2005 for most of our stay we just had to split the reservation up. I'd be prepared to purchase an annual pass if necessary so have not bought my ticket yet.
