SEPT 2009 code watch

i was at disney this month and booked the bounceback program for next sept 30 '09 for 8 nights.

i called disney today as i thought my rate was incorrect.
my confirmation reservation had an error in it which was corrected by today's phone call.

i told the CM that i'm not sure if i will keep my sept/oct ressie as is but would hold off on that decision until later.

he told me that there will be codes coming out in early spring/april with disney visa for free dining. he also said more codes will come out for rooms only and packages with free dining for my time period.

the CM advised me to keep my booked package and modify to another code when it comes out. He said if bookings stay low, free dining will be on a future code for next fall.

hoping he was correct.
the dates on my flyer for BB start august 23 '09 and go thru oct 1 '09.
another code i used to book from oct 2 to 8th for 2009 also has the free dining.

crossing my fingers for better codes for next fall.

Congratulations , where will you be staying and what are the dates that you will be in WDW.

CSR - A friend of mine was there last month, and took a TON of pictures of everything and raved about it, so that was what convinced me to book there.

We're going from September 22-29

Hi, I'm new though I've been "lurking" on this site for a little while now.

A question about free dining codes, does that apply for everyone in your party? Say 3 adults stay in 1 room, free dining for all of the adults as long as they have park passes booked?

Thanks in advance for answering...I had a lot more questions but I finally read the stickys and I "get it" a little better now.

All members of your party must have the same package (e.g. same amount of days on tickets, same kind of tickets), and yes, they would all get free dining.
We booked 4 rooms last year, and all got free dining.

We had a great time eating our way around WDW!

The biggest thing to remember about Free Dining is you absolutely HAVE to make your sit-down (TS Credit) dining reservations (ADRs) in advance of your trip, as soon as you are able (usually 180 days prior) especially if there is a particular restaurant you want to eat at.
You can get ressies closer, but they will begin to be picked over the closer you get.

We are planning our first ever family vacation to WDW!

Just put together a package for Sept 19-26, Wilderness Lodge. Got my reservation number, now just need to pay the deposit by Nov. 1!

(We are going to DisNEY, We are going to DisNEY...!)

(Can you tell I'm excited? Dh's first trip ever, dd's first trip ever, my second but the last was 15 years ago and off-site.)

On the watch for a code - planning to book for 9/26-10/3/09 next week. Do you still have to keep watch if you work with a travel agent or do they do that for you?
