So each adult in your party can book a bounceback room for FD next year, correct?

I think I remember seeing that if the people going changes, but I am going this year and next year, it's ok, right?

My DH is going this year with me, but next year doesn't want to go, so I would be bringing someone else (probably my adult DD and her 3 kids).

that's ok, right?
-thanks Dis

I have a similar question: Not trying to get around the rules, just trying to find out what the rules are! My adult DD & family & I are going this year, and if we each book a room for next year, do we both have to go? In other words, what if next year, just I and my DS's family wants to go instead of DD's family - can we change ALL the names on one reservation? OR can my DD make a reservation for her brother INSTEAD of for herself? Anybody know? Thanks!

I just booked ours and was having problems because this reservation is in my maiden name, and was wanting next years in my married name. After awhile all was fixed. The reason why this was a problem was that only the person whose name the current reservation is under can do the bounceback. Otherwise everyone else can change. They asked me if I was bringing any kids in 08 or any other adults. So OP you should be ok as long as the reservation is in your name.

Just an FYI..

I booked the Bounce Back last December for this Sept. trip. When I went to make a change in my Ressie (tweeked the dates) they charged me a $50 change fee :scared1: .

I don't know if this is a common practice but it really stunk  . Who isn't going to have to make a change when you book 11 months early. So, when it was offered to the general public, I cancelled the first ressie, rebooked and got the moneys back;)

Make sure you check when you make your ressie:sad2: I would even go so far as getting it in writing

good luck

You don't mention when you made the changes, but any changes to any reservation within 45 days of arrival where the total goes down will incur a $50 change fee. If you changed it 46 or more days prior to arrival - then you either shouldn't have been charged or it's a special rule with that promotion

I made the changes in March which was 6 months before the trip to place. I changed resorts & number of days. Here is a copy of the email sent to me by my TA.. This BounceBack would be considered a "special Offer" so I am just warning you all now

I changed it to Pop Century and need to let you know that Disney charged a $50.00 change fee, so the new total for the 9-nights at Pop Century is now $XXXX (Standard View). I spoke w/Guest Services and they said it was because this was a special offer booked and it really shouldn’t have been changed from the original booking. She also said they if you are reducing the number of nights in the future, there will be another change fee of $50.00. I did argue on your behalf that they did not charge the $50.00 change fee in the past, but the Guest Services supervisor said that it should have been and that the changes shouldn’t have been allowed for this special offer. She allowed it this time as rooms were showing available for the special discounted rate.
