Sept 2004 anyone??

We will be visitied WDW 9/18 - 9/25 and we chose this time because of the low attendance. However, I read that September can sometimes be very crowded. I have it in my mind that we will not be fighting crowds of people... am I wrong?

From all the threads about September, it is supposedly an excellent time to go, as far as crowds. So that's why we're trying Sept. for the first time from the 15 - 19 - so we'll be there at about the same time.

I know it will be hot, but we were there in January (we never do two trips in a year, but we couldn't help ourselves!) and it was too cold for most of our week. So we're looking forward to doing a water park!

We went Sept 21st through October 3rd last year for our honeymoon - and besides the weekends...the parks were pretty much empty!

It was a little chilly in the morning...I started off most mornings in shorts/tank top/zip up sweat shirt...but it wasn't too bad at all.

We had a GREAT time...heck, we even did US and IOA when they were EMPTY in September.

We came over in september 2002 and the queues were rarely longer than 15mins! We're coming back this september!!! Can't wait!!

Sept is the best time to go in my opinion. There are no lines at all, no crowds, and PS is not really needed, or can be had on the same day if needed. You almost have the park to yourself. I cant wait to go back!!

We went Sept of last yr. We arrived the day after labor day. It was actually kinda weird .....it was so empty. A couple of times we were the only ones on the bus. We never had to wait for a ride. Mission Space had just opened and we waited maybe 5 min.
It is an awesome time to go. A little more rainy than what we were used to, but still awesome.

We're joining you! We'll be there 9/17 - 9/25! I hear from previous threads that it's great because of the weather and the lack of crowds. If you check on I believe the farmer's almanac thread, one of the disboards members looked up the weather for then.

My biggest worry has been the possibility of lovebugs but I think I'll deal! (I've never encountered them so I have no idea what it's like. Never the less I'm bringing bugspray!)

Lovebugs are more of a nuisanace than anything. They don't bite. They weren't as horrible in the parks as they seemed to be at the resort. However, we were at AKL and I don't think the spray very aggressively for bugs because of the animals.

We will be there as well, 9/16 - 9/21. Will be celebrating our 10th anniversary. We stayed at WDW for our honeymoon and the crowds where small except for weekends. it seems more go in sept. than before. Hope to see you there.

My 11 year old daughter and I will be there in Sept too.
Sept17-26. 2 nights at POP then 7 nights a Saratoga Springs. First trip "Home". its very exciting. But as you can see in my counter below were are going in May too.

If anyone in Spet wants to share an Illuminations cruise keep in touch. I'm going to try to get one for any night except the first night (9/17) and the Tuesday (Sept 21). We are doing the Back Yard BBQ on Tuesday. Hope its fun.

We will be there in Sept also!
We will be at ASMo from the 18-26 and can't wait. My kids have never been, my husband has never been and I haven't been in 11 years.

We were there from Septmeber 6-13 last year and it couldn't have been a better week! Absolutely no crowds whatsoever, and no joke, not one drop of rain the entire week. I don't think we'll ever get a more perfect situation ever like that again.
