Hi all...just home late last night from a fabulous trip to Cape Cod - already have a great tan!!! but no doubt it will quickly fade :(

so glad hubby picked me up at the airport - i landed at 9:30 and so immediately got on the DCL website and booked the three of us a brunch & a dinner at Palo - didn't book Ensenada excursions but probably will soon.....(Diane & Donna - we are already linked, so if you're interested in joining us at Palo i will give you our reserv days/times & you can book something similar - then Palo will change the ressies to accommodate the 5 of us)...

We can try and get same time you can email me at disper61 at hotmail.com and let me know what you have. Another suggestion is if possible, to just bump your reservation to 5 people and then have them charge it to 2 different rooms on the day of. They don't make you pre-pay for Palo do they? Just let me know. I'm only silver, so I can start booking tomorrow I believe.

No we don't prepay - and i couldn't book you with us last night - guessing because you are silver ~ at the time i booked said i could only do ressies for 3 or 4...but i bet we can add you both once you're booking window opens

:laundy:

Are there laundromats on each floor? I've only cruised Princess and so excited about joining the Disney group - why didn't we do this years ago?

Decks 2 and 7, I believe. There are not a lot of machines (maybe 5 or 6 washers and dryers on each floor) and they do get busy. Everyone doesn't stick around while laundry is being done so there may be some machines that are not finished but not empty. Then the quandry begins......

Which is why on the WBTA, we checked two bags and packed for 18 days without doing laundry. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:laundy::laundy: We even decided to give stuff that we did need laundered through our stateroom host. :lmao::lmao:

No laundry room wars for us.:hippie::hippie::angel:

On our first (3-day) cruise (DH, Me, DS) I ended up doing a load of laundry during our CC day while it wasn't too busy as everyone was off the ship.
I wish I could bring enough to not do laundry at all, but with 4 of us now, plus carseats and stroller, I don't think we will have enough hands to carry everything with us PLUS holding onto the kids too, lol. I guess I'm stuck with finding time to do laundry :( I'll probably need to do laundry once during our 5 night stay at Disneyland too.
:laundy:

Cruise PIF

We got our Palo Dinner, 2nd night of cruise, 6:00 pm. :cool1:

Our thirty year old daughter is traveling with us on this cruise, she lives in Seattle.

We are getting excited!

Here is what we have left to do for travel arrangements: :surfweb:

1. Hotwire Hotel for Disneyland, after cruise.
2. Disneyland tickets, 5 day hopper for us, 2 day hopper for our daughter (she spends 2 days at Disneyland, my wife and I spend 5 days).
3. SuperShuttle reservation LA to Anaheim hotel.
4. Airport Bus Anaheim hotel to Airport
5. Airfare LA to Eugene or Portland, OR

We will be bringing one checked bag and one carry-on bag. :)
We will be doing laundry :laundy: on the cruise ship, as we are only packing 5 days worth of clothes.

Laundry rooms are on decks 2,6,7; across from staterooms #2096, 6588, and 7590.

Tim, Kathy, and daughter Kristyne. :dance3:

:banana: Just booked Tea at the Empress. I decided going with the tour was easier than going on my own. I also got Palo's for brunch. The only thing I couldn't get was the Family Resort in Mexico. It wasn't even listed so either it's full or it's been withdrawn.

Not sure what we'll do that day instead...but I'm ok with winging it! :thumbsup2

So now I'm just waiting for my Passport renewal. Then I'm set!!!

Getting down to the wire on this cruise. I think all I need at this point is a hotel in Vancouver.

Had problems with the DCL website, it wouldn't let me add any excursions. Finally called up tech support and they had to do it manually. They could not use the website to do it either.

I am checking back into this thread after checking out for a long time. Just got back from the Animal Kingdom villas. Had a great time.

Can't wait for the cruise.

dang....i haven't booked ensenada yet...but that was one of our options along with horseback riding which i couldn't find :(
we will probably just see what is available day of departure or do our own thing in Ensenada

My TA was able to book us the horseback riding excursion in Ensenada...we weren't sure between that or the family beach getaway but this will be fun!!! I haven't been on a horse for years:scared1::rotfl:
Tomorrow a.m. is the D23 showing of Cars II in San Francisco....looking forward to that!!!

which birth number are we at san pedro harbor? 91, 92, or 93? Thanks. Thinking about getting my reservation for super shuttle

According to San Pedro's Cruise calendar, we will be at Berth 93

So Dianne & I (& maybe Teresa) decided that we might as well go to Disneyland Sunday for a few hours and then drive home from there....now the dilemma is how to get a rental car....they are not open on sundays unless we go from the port to the airport to get a car....ugggghhhh

Do any of you have or want to share a Super Shuttle van to either LAX, SNA or to Disneyland area?

Not sure how feasible this would be for you, but Super Shuttle offers a Sedan Service with point-to-point service.

I'm honestly not sure how it compares to a cab, though.

It's ExecuCar, if you google it.
