Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

One of the items has to be 'wrapped' and i haven't decided yet if i'm doing all the items at once or on diff days, so if i go with all at one time - they all need to be bagged up :)
however you want to do yours is perfectly fine - there are NO rules here :)

What do you mean one of the items has to be wrapped?! :conufused: Do you mean personally speaking, one of YOUR items needs to be wrapped, or we're all supposed to be giving a wrapped item? Sorry if I seem dense. This is my first FH exchange. :o

just one of my items has to be wrapped...and no worries - i FELT exactly the same for my first FE's...i really couldn't picture wth everyone was talking about!! :)

So I'm working on my FE gifts. Everything I'm making is for each individual. I've come up with a total of about 58 people including children, does that sound about right to those who have reviewed the list as well ? At this point I'm planning for 60 and hoping that we don't have more that sign up before the deadline.:scared1: Has anyone taken the time to break the list up by age or number of adults to children. I would like see that list as well.

Everyone have a magical day.:tink:

Yes i have an excel spreadsheet that has all that info - i can send it to you tonite....

Cute idea!

I am looking at SuperShuttle or PrimeTime to get our group to LAX.

*************

We're counting down the days! Can't wait! :dance3:

you might try Lotus Transportation - ours was $52 for 5 ppl (plus tip); Super Shuttle was another 25ish....??

ahhh thanks for that info!!! but actually Heather volunteered your "car" to us!

nahhh - i'm just kidding :)

I know you wanted to come up and see how the "rich folks" travel. I just hope the crew will let you out of the "steerage" section and come forward for a look.

i hope they do too!!! :worship: I will wear my very best finery & jewels so i can at least pretend to look like i belong!!

in hand today (check). Disney is about the only cruise line that does this anymore. Arrive in Seattle on Saturday previous from Fort Worth, mom from Hawaii. Train on Sunday morning to Vancouver. Staying at the Renaissance (one night free and one night paid) so price is more reasonable. I have the walk around Vancouver App on my iphone so we will see how that works.

Tuesday morning we have the 12:00-12:30 check in time so will arrive to match our time. When you traverse Canada Place you go through US and Canadian customs. Just putting it out there because it surprise us the first time we went through but since the wonder is coming out of dry dock there shouldn't be any issues with people getting off the ship at the same time we are trying to get on.

Have Palo reserved for brunch on one of the sea days and have high tea scheduled in Victoria. Have wine and cheese ordered for embarkation..and added a wine and cheese for my mom in LA. She gets to stay aboard and head to Mexico. Unfortunately I haven't won the lottery yet.:goodvibes

hi! hope it's not too late to sign up for the FE exchange! i think my 3 year old DD would love that :)

we are new at this ... in your past FE experience...do a lot of people give out candies/sweets? that would be my only worry if my 3 year old sees like 20+ bags of candies and she will want to eat them all !! i'm thinking she'll be having way too much sweets on the cruise as it is :)

we are in #1043
DD (3 years old...loves anything 'blue')
DS (9 month old)

Thanks, much better price! Just talked to someone IRL because online suggested pick up at 8:45 AM. They were very helpful! TFS! :thumbsup2

Does anyone know which shows we'll get to see? My DDs keep asking if "Villains Tonight" will be one of the shows. Assuming that "All Aboard" will be the first night, and "Remember the Magic" on the last night. TIA

Oh i didn't even think to check apps for a walkaround ....thanks for that tip - going to down load it right now :)
how nice to be your Mom...i would SOOOO love to do a BtB like that or a 15 day cruise...maybe someday....but i do have 4 scheduled between sept & next Oct '12 - they are just all between 4 & 7 nights

Jealous of all those doing a BTB to MR and for all the Club 33 ressies!! :cloud9:

-Need to order the tie-dye shirts from the DIS'er on etsy...
-I just bought the pirate PJs from Gymboree. I usually put a Princess nightgown under their pillows on the first night, but will use these instead.

Tara and I are doing the tea in Victoria too. Are you doing it at the Empress or the Gardens?

I was at the Empress several years back to celebrate my 20th anniversary with my husband...it was amazing.

I know for myself, I have something other than candies/food planned for the kids. If your worried about the amount at all (I'm sure it won't be too much), you can always make sure you get a peek in the FE gifts first and take out the candies and set them aside to distribute as you see fit. Or you could always tell her that she has to share, lol.

thanks just email lotus for a quote for us too...not too much info on their website? do you know if it is a share shuttle ? bus ? van?

another stupid question...we have 2 kids but don't plan to travel with our carseats...so....we would only be able to go the shuttle bus route? since we would need carseats for van or limo ?:confused3

oh and what time did you book your lotus transportation? arrghhh so many questions :P

You don't need car seats for your children with that type of transportation.

He told me that we'd just call him when we were getting off with our luggage. He said that he has vans at the port starting at 8 am.

you should call them - i booked us a private van for the 5 of us - but they might also be able to provide car seats....you do NOT want to be in Calif traffic - ESP LA traffic w/out one! (or 2)
