oratem when r u sailing next month? my dh and I will be on the 09/18/05 sailing of the wonder and on the question if dh was left behind at a rest stop i am taking the 5th...u r probabl wonderig what i am still doing up? we are still in CO but I am sick and I can not sleep because I can not breath we are planning on leaving here to head back home early sat morning please excuse the puntuation errors and no capitalization i am on dh laptop and it is finicky it has already eaten my reply once

Amanda I hope you feel better soon! So how is everyone doing today!? I have decided not to complain abou the heat anymore. I complain enought in the winter about how cold it is, so I don't want to make this a year round thing. ( but it really is hot!)

Dzneprincess, sorry for your sickness. Its no fun being sick on vacation. Hope DH will drive all the way home for you, if he's there with you... . You might have to pick him up at the rest stop you left him at or maybe not.... So, is Colorado as you remember it? How many Disney stores have you seen? Glad you were willing to get our post through w/ the challenges of DH's laptop. You are a trooper.

Well, reality is calling me. I still have lots of recovery work to do. How is it that things unravel so quickly!? It's probably b/c I ignore things for so long and then it feels like BOOM the little things become overwhelming.

No I got back on Sat. and I do not miss the humitity. But no humitity really does help with my allergies. This dry heat in Portland is reaking havak with my sinus. Oh well, I will probably compain about my sinus in the winter too!

Taeja, the Florida discounts vary for WDW. They usually have a 4 day parkhopper pass for $99.00. We bought our annual pass for about $315.00 pp. DCL does not offer Florida resident disounts as far as I know. I have never been able to locate one if they do. As for our house, we did upgarde to a house with a pool. We have used it everyday since we moved in. My four year old is a fish and LOVES it! He's a great swimmer.
Dzne , I hope that you feel better soon! Getting sick on vacation is the worst! Especially if your traveling. Lots of fluids and get TLC from your DH. If you haven't left him.

Actually, DCL does offer FL resident discounts. We got them on our Sept 19th cruise. We already had our trip booked for the 3 of us in a cat 7 and then when the Fl resident discounts came out we added my sister (Florida resident) and only had to pay $30 more for her and got a cat 5 room!!! If we ever manage to take DCL again, you can bet we will use the Florida discounts (unless my sister decides to move to TEXAS!) and take her with us again! I believe the FL resident discounts are only around Sept-October, though.

Well, gotta get my little (or not so little) behind moving cause I've got laundry & packing to do for our weekend trip. Take care!!

I just remembered you had hurricane weather in your direction. How did your part of the country do? Did you get blasted w/ wind and lots of rain?

Well, we waited & waited and it finally made a very weak presence. It hit far enough south that we got some much needed rain and just some gusts of wind. Nothing major. I think we got more rain from Gert than we did from Emily. Oh well, atleast we'll be prepared for the next one (and at the rate that storms have popped up this hurricane season, there WILL be a next one!).

I looked on the DCL website after my last post for the FL resident rates & couldn't find them, but allseas has them posted on their website. There are several 3, 4 & 7 night cruises listed in Aug & Sept '05.

Well, really gotta get moving now! Hey, we finally got modern & got hi-speed internet (how in the world did we ever get by without it ???) and it's awesome!!! Even DD has noticed the major improvement when she plays her nickjr, pbskids, noggin or disney games!! Best of all, we no longer have to fight over who gets to use the computer cause we can use the laptop & home computer at the same time!

Gotta get back to laundry & Days of Our Lives!

First of all, Leonor, I am glad to know your family is safe and that your grass is a little greener due to the rain.

Second, what is the deal with the Boy Scouts? I just read the AP news about their misfortuate events. Four guys get fried after knowing the rules (how where to pitch a tent) and then a bunch of B.S. get dehydrated b/c their not getting enough liquids. Aren't there patches they would've earned to know how and where to pitch a tent and also aren't there common sense rules about drinking liquids so you don't get dizzy let alone passed out? Maybe they should have this jamboree thing when there's cooler weather. I know I'd flamed or cornered on any other thread, but I know you all wouldn't flame me to death. Vent over.

P.S. As good as these Disney discounts sound, maybe I should be moving to FLA!

I am having cabin fever! DCL cabin fever! I want to be on a ship now! I hate when this happens. Oh well I can look at the next year a more time to save!

Well I just got back from Target and while I was there I was thinking about the cd that DCL sent out to some of the CC members. I found a carribian steel drum cd that is pretty close to what they play on the DCL site. Not disney songs in steel drums but hey at least it's something. Just my little escape music!
