Sept 19th,2004 revisited.....

Hey guys!

I graduated college went on the Marnier last year w/ mom and dad and a friend as a present.

And in Oct we are doing the Caribbean Princess for our yearly vacation...Western to Jamica!

We will be at OKW...only WDW....mostly I think we are going to do waterparks during the day and then spend the evenings in the parks. THe only thing I have planned for sure is a Grand Gathering on Spet 1st....We are doing the Illumniations dinner and dessert thing with some friends from another board

hey yall... we are around. lurking as usual. i dont post much at all.

Dominique is in the 1st grade now. we are still working like dogs as always. planning a crusie in december. We cruised with amanda in May/june. we had a blast. it was fun.

misti and i bought a house back in january. we have been trying to get it all together. we got a dog at christmas. she is a cutie. no particular breed. a heinz 57 as dominique calls her. she is a small dog and her name is maggie.

other than the cruise in may, we havent done much besides stay here. I did have to make a trip to Washing ton state with my mom at the end of June. it was cold out there. cloudy and rainy the whole time and then the day after I left a heat wave came through and stayed in the 90 area the rest of the time my mom was there.

we have cancelled out on the Med cruise, so we can do a back to back wonder cruise next june. it will be after dom gets out of school for the year. then will have to go to the east coast for misti's family reunion and then over to the west coast in July for mine. It will be a busy summer next year for us.

Hi everyone! Haven't been on another cruise, yet. We're planning one for the entire family, me DH DS22 DD21 DS19 DD11 and a friend of ours, for September 23, 2007. I can't wait and neither can they. We're going to pair it with 4 days at the parks. We've moved since the cruise, we live in Mississippi now. My parents are there and I want to be able to look out for them. It's great hearing what everyone is doing. Is anyone else planning a Sept 2007 cruise? let me know and we'll get a thread going.

We're going September 23, 2007. We had a great time in 2004. It was soooo nice to be away from the kids and the everyday grind for awhile. Now that we're actually doing the planning for the next vacation, not just talking about it, everyone seems to be getting more excited, even my husband. I've been looking at the new excursions and they look great. I think the stingray encounter at CC will be fun. It will be a different experience this time with the whole family. Since we all loke Disney I think everyone will have a great vacation.

Krystina started Kinder 3 weeks ago and she LOVES it! The first day was ROUGH! She cried, I cried, etc, but by the end of the day she wasn't quite ready to go home! We decided on the charter school after all (instead of the neighborhood school) and I do believe we made the right choice!

Great news! We are cruising again (but not Disney)! We are taking a 7 night Hawaiian cruise next month (Sept 16th). We fly out of San Antonio to Honolulu and then hop on Norwegian's Pride of America for 7 nights around the islands! Can't wait!!!!

Leonor, great hearing from you. Logan is great. He just started 1st grade. Growing too fast for me. We almost put him in a charter school but they are not doing so well here. A Hawaiian cruise! How nice! I heard that the NCL ships are great. I haven't been on one yet but we are thinking about doing a transatlantic on one in a couple of years for our 10th anniversary.

Hello Everyone, I just got a message that ya'll are still here and going strong. I so wish this was 2 years ago now. I'd love to be getting ready for another cruise Unfortunately since that cruise my life has turned upside down. I am now divorced and raising our 2 kids alone and am about to move back to GA to be closer to more family, so no more frequent trips to Disney. Before my move we have scheduled a trip to WDW with lilpootr who we met on this board before our cruise. I must say due to this board I have found the greatest friend ever in her, Faeth. Oh well I just wanted to say Hi.

I am so glad to hear you are taking another cruise, you must be thrilled! The kids are doing fine, I kinda regret traveling right now since the kids are in school grades that count. All well, if they take a hit for the cruise, they'll survive. So, there will be no more cruising during the school year for us. Bummer.

I HATE waking up at 7AM to get our eldest ready for school. She's whiney, I'm whiney and man do I ever need coffee in the mornings now.

My cruise group that's cruising the Wonder 9/3/-9/7 is chatting about Ernesto. My MIL just called today asking about the weather. So glad she found out about Ernesto just today. *whew* I am so excited about this cruise. As usual I am waiting 'til the last minute to get ready, clean, pack, etc.. So, I am in official freak out mode.

Oh J&J mom I am soo sorry. What heartbreak it must be for all involved. Faith said she was moving south too. How exciting you'll be a couple states closer together. That's sooo wonderful that you two have bonded.

I hope the rest of you are well. I am just consumed with cruise prep and school for the kids. Its almost mind numbing. Well, I have lunches to make, so glad to hear from some more cruisers! Keep up the posting!

Hello Everyone,

Forgive me DIS'er's for I have truly sinned! It's been way too long since I have been back to this thread to say Hello to all of you!

I hope you have all been doing well and it's good to be back, I've missed hanging out here.

Things have been crazy over the past year or so. I started a gift basket business here in NH and it has just grown leaps and bounds. It's been a lot of fun but makes it tough to get my "DIS Board" fix in as often as I would like!

Although I have not been on a cruise since our 2004, I finally convinced DH to go to WDW

We will be headed to AKL on 09/16 and staying for a week. While we are there we will finally get the chance to visit with J&J's mom (and family). As she stated on her post, our 2004 wonder cruise brought our family together and although we haven't seen them since that time we are in constant touch.

I am so excited about going to WDW, it's our first trip to the World ever. The kids (DD- 13 & DS - 10) are just so excited about staying at AKL.

Many of you seem to have been to WDW many times, if you have any tips, hints or not to miss ideas please let us know. My family will be there for four days before J&J's mom & family catch up with us; so we will be "unguided" for that time!

Would love to hear from all of you, Taeja has been so kind to keep me in the loop and keep all of us together - thank you!

Justice&jordan'smom, Sorry to hear about the divorce. But I know just what you mean about the boards and finding friends. Dizneprincess (Amanda) and I became so close that we are going to Universal Studios and on another Disney Cruise together in a couple of weeks. Now if only I could get her to visit way out here in the great Northwest!

Faith, We are just going to miss you. We are leaving the day you arrive. But it's great to see that things are going so well.

Lenore, Mason is as spoiled as ever. Although I am going to miss him sooooo much when we leave next friday. I can't believe that Kristina is in Kindergarden. My how time flies!

As far as Eric and I go we are doing great. We are leaving for our big vacation in 10 days. It's our big vacations for a couple of reasons, first we were broke from the wedding so we had to kinda skrimp on the honeymoon. And second when we get back we are going to start work on a family. Heck we may even bring back a little souviner. So we thought we would have one last vacation before our family grows. I am still in school and Eric has since returned to school as well. So our lives are pretty full. So this vacation is very much needed. But I am still addicted to the Dis!
