(Sorry AGAIN, Hadley!! Think pink Barbie dress...think pink!)

I'm too slow! Fair enough, I'll bring Graeters chocolate :thumbsup2 Too bad the ice cream won't make it! ;)

Seriously though, LOVE LOVE LOVE the chocolate idea!!

Just wanted to share a few photos from our visit today to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Those pictures are great, thank you so much for sharing! :goodvibes

We're totally homesick for WDW..... it's been about a year and we still aren't going until March!

I'm too slow! Fair enough, I'll bring Graeters chocolate :thumbsup2 ....

Well with a few of us Buckeyes on this cruise, I had to act quickly! ;) Harry London chocolates are from Ohio...just thinkin'.... :rolleyes1 (I'm REALLY thinking HL caramels.........buttery caramel....oh my!)

Graeters!!!!!! OH YUM! My favorites are the blackberry (dark) chocolate chunk and the seasonal pumpkin. Man...that is a shame you can't pull that off!

Indeed they are MMMM MMMM Good! They are better than a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, IMO. I think they're even better because you get more of the pb "stuff".

I am yet anotehr who believes buck eyes are better than PB cups:love: I add a cup of rice krispies to the PB/butter/powdered sugar mixture we really like that extra crunch. Thinkin' pink Kimbery:rolleyes1

They used to do a really nice apple cinemon thing that was musshy but lovely

They still do--the Caramel Apple Empenada--Rio loves it the way I love buckeyes:rotfl:

Stephanie--GREAT photos

I think the candy exchange sounds lovely--HOWEVER I am not putting my hat in the ring for anything else that means I will need to bring things across the Atlantic in an airplane until I know what my luggage allowances will be. Erik and I will likely be on hte edge with JUST the lanyards which I think we are going to try to split up among our groups. For the Double Dip he shipped them to Florida and the box was over 35 pounds. Being a dressy group I will also need room in my luggage for Tuxedos and formals so:eek: I may not have room for chocolate. Too bad there are some great things out there we can't get here. Who lives where you can buy Kindereggs? Marika and RIo love those. For me, our Australian exchange students used to bring a delicious Cadbury candy that was chocolate coated and had a sweet, crunchy, fluffy inside. I think they were called honeycombs. I adored them.

I am traveling solo on this trip. My sister(reenieny) and her family usually go with me but that is the start of my nephews' senior year in high school and it would be difficult for him to catch up. I did not want to miss this TOAL #2!! 1St being EB Repo thru Panama Canal this past August. I am very comfortable traveling alone. I go to WDW alone several times a year. I am going solo in January to spend my birthday with Mickey!

Karen

And for Karen, Melodie, and Lisa...

Johanna and I know how you feel about being solo travelers - we did that on the EBPC. Then we met and became good friends and realized how much we could save on this cruise by being roommates!! :thumbsup2

I must admit though that having a stateroom to yourself was really nice...

The past 15 years or so (including as my boys have grown up), I've always traveled with my Mom. She always did so much for us that it just seems right that we should treat her when we can. Since she doesn't want to make this trip, I will more than likely be solo. I know that I'll have my oldest son and his fiance (who will be my DIL by that time) and all my DIS family, but I can say that having the cabin to myself might be interesting!

Hey Stephanie - the pictures of the girls are beautiful. They have really grown since the TA. Looks like you had the whole park to yourselves. That is always nice.

Kathy - thank you sooo much for helping me. I think you can see a picture of my Hoagie Pie now.

I love the candy exchange, but I don't know what on earth I would bring from Florida. I know they have those orange slice candies, but I don't have anything really good like all of you. I am still partial to M&M's, but after all the other candy excitement, M&M's seem very boring. Anybody have ideas, I am up for it, but like Hadley, I need to check my luggage. I am determined to bring less clothes - although I think we will need sweatshirts and some heavy things. I am not one for formal night. My idea of a good time is a big pizza on Deck 9 looking out over the water with a bunch of friends so I can eliminate that for the candy - no problem!! I will take ideas or if anybody has been to Florida and likes something, let me know.

I will do the candy exchange - any ideas from AZ?

Well, I am sitting here reading the thread and my DS walks up as a post from Buckeye Gal comes up and he gets very excited - "HEY, she is on our cruise again - that's cool! - HEY wait (as he looks at the cruise banner with the flags) only one stop at Castaway Cay - what a rip!!"

He has no interest now that he knows it is not a double dip!!!!!
What will I do when we get back from a 14 day cruise and he finds out the next one is only a "lousy" 7 day. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Black raspberry chip is my favorite (and Oprah's, apparently :confused3 )

We don't have any Harry London chocolate around here... I totally didn't even know it was from Ohio!

That's it! I couldn't think of what it was called lol

OK well Kindereggs are the UK so thats us. Also the Cadbury stuff probably might be a crunchie or a boost otherwise no idea lol They do a honeycomb but its like slivers of chocolate so dont think its that oh and honeycombe bites which are small bits so not sure about that one

I would love to be a part of a candy exchange but how hard is it to pack it your luggage? Will the dogs at the airport go crazy when they sniff candy?

They shouldn't do. Just pack them in the middle of the suitcase. I managed to get 8 big bars of galaxy into the states last year and then 2 bars into Barcelona. Usually its OK they are only really trained to find drugs

I never knock M&M's - they are my fave!!!! If you want M&M's - I will bring!!! What makes them different then the ones in the UK I wonder. I have a friend that lives in Bermondsey and we exchange tea. I think we have more flavored tea in America then the UK and he cannot believe we actually have pumpkin tea!!

Its the chocolate. Over here the chocolate isn't the same at all! Ill have to try and bring some so we can compare and contrast lol

You guys have much better tea than we do in that respect (flavours). I love Tea Havannah and there isn't one over here so have to stock up next week when Im in FL if I remember. We get a lot of twinning tea and I like our Breakfast tea more than tea in the US but flavour wise you guys go all out. Have tried Pumkin Spice tea and its beautiful.

I can bring either see's or jelly belly...both are california candies.....and yummy.

Add me to the klutz list for segway and scrapbooker too!

darn, that's what I was thinking of, we'll have to coordinate so we don't bring the same flavors

Well we have chocolate bars that many in the US can not get too. Like Coffee Crips. Yummy :) We have lots of cadbury products and we get kinder eggs too :)

So are we planning a candy exchange lol

We will be counting fudge as candy? We have an enitre island in Michigan devoted to fudge :)

Do Vegas Chips work :confused3 You know chocolate thats covered to look like a poker chip :confused3 :lmao: :lmao: I think thats the only thing Vegas can offer as far as candy , but I am sure I could probably throw a rock out here and hit a girl named "Candy" or "Chocolate" or half a dozen other names that are associated with sweets ..:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
