lol well be at F&W for next few weeks too so will keep an eye out for you guys! We got them on the EB cruise which was cool so slightly different I think but I would love to see copies of the WB ones as can't remember the differences (too busy eating lol)

How will I know you? We usually spend all day, every day, at the seminars. We are staying at Boardwalk Villas 10/26-10/28, then at Animal Kingdom Villas 10/28-11/7.

Perhaps we should have a candy/chocolate swap on the cruise? Everyone could bring bags of "snack" size bars and we could meet and swap? I think Pinky bars are NZ specific too.

Okay, I live in GA now but I have no idea what type of candy/chocolate would be appropriate for here... But I'm from NC - I could always bring moonpies!!

Johanna and I know how you feel about being solo travelers - we did that on the EBPC. Then we met and became good friends and realized how much we could save on this cruise by being roommates!!

I must admit though that having a stateroom to yourself was really nice...

For those of you who have done the segway tour, if "someone" lacks grace, balance, and coordination, do you think "this person" would be capable of handling a segway?

I was so nervous the first time I tried it. That was in Epcot, quite a few years ago. My feet burned from standing on the Segway and clenching my feet to hard in my tennis shoes....LOL They were so great about teaching you and you had to practice on a bunch of obstacle courses before they took you outside to go around the countries. I felt like a pro by the time we ended. The fort wilderness offroad segway tour is really fun too. The tires were much bigger on these segways and it was really fun to go thru the dirt, hills and water areas. If you can take a tour at WDW or DL/DCA, I think you probably get the best teaching and guidance for a beginner...since Disney is way more cautious then XWZ Segway Tours in your city....just my 2cents.

Oooo they look good - what do they taste like?

OMG...they are so good. They taste like peanut butter and chocolate melting in your mouth...smoothly. No waxy after taste/feel on the tongue. Better than my favorite peanut butter cups. I am drooling just thinking of having one. I use to make them and I love having them but cannot have any right now. I'm on the red team biggest loser challenge right now, trying to get into shape for our next cruise.

I love peanut butter cups but buckeyes are so much better

Soooo cute !! great pictures!
What is funny is we were there this afternoon and evening! What a beautiful day it was...a bit toasty mid day, but cooled off into a beautiful evening. I took my DS15 and my friend and her DD. We hit DCA first...with 5-10 min waits on ToT and Screamin', waited 20 min for ToyStory Mania, then walked on Grizzly River Run...headed to DL and hardly waited more then 10 min on anything there too, although it felt busier.

That is great news about the reception site!! Mom is on the reservation, but I think I will end up being solo as her and my dad are looking at a big trip that year and my dad is not into cruising. Most of my friends just can't get two weeks from their jobs back to back or look at me like I'm crazy because I have a vacation planned this far in advance (what do they know!). We loved the cruise mom got a bad skin infection (had to hit the medical center on the ship) in Cozumel so we laid low the last few days, but we just loved it!! When I modified my reservation the DCL rep said I should add a 2nd adult now because if I do it later it would be at the prevailing rate for the cruise. The DCL rep said I could modify the name for the 2nd adult at anytime and that if it is just me solo (which I think it will be) that I can take the 2nd adult off and my prevailing rate would be the single supplement from the date I booked.



I hope you feel better soon have lots of popsicles! My mom got bronchitis after we arrived home from our trip and her doctor said she probably got it from the plane ride.


I only had one on the last cruise I totally forgot about them! I hope they have an ample supply this time!


You have the Choco Taco in SF? We don't have that here in MN, but I attempted to order it a few years ago after having it at a Taco Bell out of state and I think they thought I was crazy at the drive thru window while my friend just laughed hysterically.


I'm flying solo currently too! Your mom was so wonderful to meet She was so good at the Fued as well! That is very sweet of her to take care of her great grandson! I agree there will be a fabulous group of Disers on board


Hi Karen I'm pretty sure I will be solo as well. I have done WDW solo a few times as well it is so relaxing and enjoyable. Have fun celebrating your birthday with Mickey in January

ok, I figured there was something I wasn't getting.....but still, haven't had dessert at Taco Bell either....oh except for a Choco Taco, ice cream, wrapped in a waffle cone, all in a taco shape.

I don't like them personally - I love real pineapple though. Pineapple lumps are a candy - like a firm marshmallow (pineapple flavoured) and covered in chocolate. I don't mind the taste but I don't like the texture.

lol good point. We are staying at Pop Century but doing 3 days at Hard Rock hotel in the middle (26-9) Its DBF first trip so probably going to be doing all the parks and running around like nutters so just keep an eye out for 2 brits looking bedraggled, and me carrying a bloody huge inhaler and spacer!
