I looked online at M&S first as they do the free store delivery, but much of what I fancied was out of stock there. It was quiet though at the shop as I don't think the sale date had been leaked like the last one.

John and I have never had problems navigating in Europe as so many people speak English. The other option is find a private tour as we did that is going there but of course that is a more expensive option!!

So many posts after just a day or so away!


I've been with dd in Bristol as she's not been too good lately.

Her GP has suggested changing meds and recommended she's not well enough to take exams at present and should be allowed to retake her second year at Uni. The Faculty don't meet until end of September, just before term starts ......while we're away of course.....so we won't know til then if they agree.

I am totally exhausted wth trying to boost her spirits right now and really need this holiday.....but now of course I shall be worrying too......

Is anyone going to Montserrat on their own via train from Barcelona on either Thursday 16 Sept or Friday 17 Sept? I really want to go, and would love to join up with another DISer. And I'm very intimidated with getting around in Barcelona and Spain in general.

I'm not going on my own, but I am taking an organized Day Tour on Friday that includes Montserrat. It also goes to a winery and Sitges.

I am sorry to hear your DD is not doing well. and hugs to both of you. One always worries about their children when their lives are not going well.

my pirates outfit arrived and it fits and its really cool

I would write a complaint to head office. I did this when they cancelled half my order before without telling me at all and got a voucher to use in store or online. I have to admit I tend to order everything from them online now as I find ordering through the shop a complete nightmare! They do still have issues but not as many!

thanks i may do that its just time i am soo busy ! but yeah it maybe worth it
