When you pay for the pins please put you're disname on it.

Does somebody how we can not get charged for the fees?

Oh Oh, I didn't put my disname, It will come from Hayley.

I ticked the box that said I will cover the fee's, so maybe advise everyone to do that?

I have paid via paypal but forgot to put a message or my DIS name ... but I sent you a PM. I ticked the fees box too just in case.

Oh I remember 18 years ago PAYING $20 (on special) for a Prodigy disc - that would "allow" me to get on to their network - in addition to get on the WWW we had to dial up through the local community college. I have to say I was very hesitant to transition out of Prodigy when they moved everything out into the "big unknown world of the internet" as I liked my BB and my life there! But they shut it down and forced me out - I think I have adjusted :)

that made me laugh! I always have extra room in my suitcase for something like that - who needs a jacket - I can buy one on the ship!

Krisann
Loved Prodigy. A very good friend of mine wrote the Prodigy manuals. I am still very good friends with the people I met on Prodigy. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

PinUpdate!!!!

We have reached 100 pins so we can order the pins.
In order to have our pins on time for our Transantlantic Cruise, we must order the pins by Jul 22.

The pins cost 4,50 Euro each. You can pay the money for the pins on Noel's paypal or on Patrick's paypal account.

Since the cost for people who live in America is less if you pay on Noel account, you may choose to pay through her. Then, she will send the money to Patrick's account.

If you are going to pay Noel, you must first determine how much the dollar is versus the Euro. In order to determine how much 4.5 Euros, you must first attempt to make order of 4.5 Euros to determine how much to pay Noel. Do not complete this order. You are only using this method to determine how much the actual dollar cost is pay in Euros. Then you can pay Noel the actual dollar amount which she will transfer to Patrick in Euros in your name.

As with the Euros transfer, please use a Personal transfer and say it is a gift to avoid fees to be charged to the recipient.

Noel's paypalaccount is birkner@needinfo.com

Patrick's paypalaccount is p.vanmaaren@chello.nl

Please send your money to one of us with your both your DIS name and your email address before 21 July so we can order the pins on time and in the numbers of pins we want.

If all the money is received before that time, we will not be able to order the pins at that price, so it is critical that all the money be collected before that time.

Connie will take the pins with her on the Cruise and hand them out on the first Dismeet or if you are not going to the meet, she can arrange to meet you in the boarding area in Barcelona.

Noel and Connie

I will send this also to you're PMbox.
paid!:goodvibes

I paid Noel in USD and there was no box to tick to pay the fees. Noel, if there are any fees please let me know and I'll take care of that! You and Connie should not have to incur any fees!

Thank you all again for doing this...:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Did you pay on the 'personal' part of Paypal? I was wondering if the box was there because it was personal and therefore an option to who pays the fees, whereas if you do it as buying something then you pay the fees anyway? I have paid for goods/services before and never seen a box to tick for a fee there. First time I have seen it to be honest. I never ever knew you paid a fee till John told me some time ago, so wonder if it is automatic for that.

I sent it as a gift. On the personal tab. The only place I saw for any input was the message box. Hmmmm. Guess I'll have to wait for it to be morning on the left coast...

ETA I just looked on the details and on the fee line it says zero dollars. I hope it's okay....

Buckeye Gal - Kimberley. Dis won't send my PM because I haven't posted enough! Who knew. So, I'll have to do it here. My travel info is correct except that we depart 14SEP and arrive 15SEP. We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express at Molins de Rei.

Well that is just what I did. Perhaps there are some differences in the US.:confused3 It doesn't worry me at all as it was only 50 Euro cents, so I am thinking 30 US cents or so. All very interesting though.

Rain!!! My grass is turning green as I watch. Seriously. :goodvibes:goodvibes

Today is going to be a great shopping day. I have come to the conclusion that I am not going to lose 50 pounds in the next 10 weeks, so I may as well find a swimsuit that fits now. If I lose 50 pounds the suit will just be a little loose.:)

I am also thinking I should start thinking about my pirate attire. Disney Store here I come!pirate:pirate:pirate:

Also going to get my fish extender gifts into bags. And pick up tolietries. Also starting to put things in a clothes hamper that I know I need to take, like my toothbrush charger. Getting together all of the video camera cables. Going to buy film. Yes, I was just going to take video with my camera, but after seeing the movies on you tube, I now know I'm taking my entire digital arsenal with me. :rotfl: Hey if not now, when????

Putting new batteries in all my remotes. Might even bring my tripod. Know I'm bringing the little gorilla tripod. Okay, let's get this day started!!!!:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Last time we had no kids for the night, we went to our favourite Thai place for dinner then we were home by 7pm, on the couch, watching the footy, How sad! :rotfl:

What's a footy?

What you haven't packed yet, what have you been doing? I have had big lists, small lists, sub-lists, mini lists, packing lists, to do lists, shopping lists, FE lists, candy/choc swap lists, special things for people lists, tips lists, wish lists, excursions lists, magnet lists, etc......even lists of lists.........Am I a little nutty?

Sounds like a serious case of listmania to me.

Rain!!! My grass is turning green as I watch. Seriously.

I know what you mean. We just got the first rain here in probably a month. Leaves on the trees in back of us are turning brown and falling already. Very sad...

Yeah my grass is looking better already too!!! We are going to have such fun today shopping and meeting our friends!!!

You will survive looking for a bathing suit.

I can remember when my hubby and I went to Ireland twice and we talked with the family we stayed with. My question to her was, "what about people with wheelchairs or with a disability in getting around. Now this was 1998 and 2000. Her reply was that no one cared, You want to get around, do it your self. That stuck with me and I was so surprised. I sure hope things there are better, because everyone should be able to travel with as little restrictions as possible. Disney really needs to step up!!!!

I noticed when we were in Europe that things are not very accessible in that sense. I can remember when my children were young and I had a stroller (in the states) and would be in different stores it was hard to get through certain areas and I would comment to the sales clerk if it is this hard to get a strolle through what do people in wheelchairs do? They normally would just look at me funny. My grandad was in a wheelchair because he lost his leg in a coal mine accident so I notice this sometimes (I know not as much as someone in a wheelchair)

I really think Disney should have a way to relate information to the airlines if they are booking it - tours are a little different (not saying they cannot find something that is accessible) but the airline thing is totally under their control! I think I will send them an email about it too!

Payment sent to Noel!!! Thanks for doing this :woohoo:

It was me, but my list is at home... I have also tried to true up with concierge - still waiting on a response...

Thanks Sue! Weirdly I thought it might be you who had said it as I had a feeling you had got it from conceirge!

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2::lmao: You're absolutely right

I'm not sure what you mean by rotations, but if you are talking about the tentative formal/semi formal/pirate days then just download the navigator that Gismo-Sarah made... navigator
just log in with a Google account, if you don't have one create one.

Well let's get both:confused3

You should just be able to access the navigator without signing in but weirdly some poeple are having too! I don't understand it!

Try this link -> Navigator 1

I had my online appointment yesterday for my custom jewellery for the cruise. Unfortunately the webcam did not work, but we discussed it on Google Messenger and she sent me loads of photos along the way. I am so pleased with my jewellery.

The necklace in the making:

Oh I like these!

Okay I know I am late in this planning... But for the kids.. I was thinking of things that would make them get schooling with fun. How about if they talk to someone. They can get a quick lesson in geography.. Like someone from Ny meets someone from VA then they get a post card with the state or city. I know it is more to pack but when the kids go back to school they will have good memories to share. Or we could give out a world map and then put stickers on it. Just ideas anyone with children school age want to do this?

I think maybe people with kids out there should respond but wanted to say although I had added this to the post no one had volunteered for the map thing at all it was a suggestion someone had a while back. Maybe this one will get some people to respond??? Want me to add this to the post telling people to contact you? See how many people want to try?
