Just been looking at the photos of The Magic in Dover...so jealous, wish I could have gone and waved to her!:thumbsup2 Lovely to see her here for a short while though....:cool1:

Gus and I were at the opening night of World of Color last night and loved it!!
We booked a dinner package at Ariel's Grotto for 7pm and saw the 10:15 show. The food was great and the reserved area for the show rocked!!!
In fact, I think we are gonna do this again in a few weeks but try the other place to eat instead.

Just a warning, you have to get a fastpass ticket for anything resembling a decent spot for this show! There is viewing from the other side of the pier but it's really not good! The projections are only on one side so you really can't see much from the backside. Anyhow, I would save yourself a lot of trouble and book the dining package but if you can't make sure you get there when the park opens to get your fastpass ticket asap!!! It was complete madness last night and many people were turned away from the main viewing area!

Anyway, here's a link to my photo's. They aren't great but it was a hard show to get good pic's of...

Sorry for all of you having Dover envy!

We might be interested in a tour on the 16th, which is the day we get in. We haven't booked our hotel yet.

Sounds great as the more the merrier!! Send a PM to Kimberly (Buckyeye Girl) as as she is getting a quote. We are thinking of meeting up at the airport on the 16th.

Absolutely! Please do so, Melanie! My flight arrives at 8:35 am on Thursday, so let me know of your arrival time. It would be great if you or anyone else could join us!!

By the way, I hope I didn't offend anyone by my enthusiastic showing of the England flag!? Wasn't intended...just some fun as I'm so excited to watch the World Cup! :thumbsup2:rolleyes1:guilty:

No offense at all! You should be excited and supportive of your country!

"The food was lovely, I had no complaints at all. The quality of most of the food I ordered was fine. Sorry I didnt get any menus, didnt even think about asking for them.....

....we had 2 days to explore (Barcelona). The Ramblas was fun, different and not what I imagined at all. It was nice to walk up and down. The Artists, painting and mime were brilliant......

Thanks so much for sharing! It's good to hear that the food was good. I'm not worried about the menus, myself, as I know it very well could be different for our cruise. Besides, just as I was reading reviews of the 1st Med cruise this year, it can sound good, but that doesn't mean it *is* good!

I'm very much looking forward to walking the Ramblas as well. Sounds like it's pretty diverse. I really want to check out the food market to try out some unique (to me). Overall, it sounds like you had a wonderful experience!

The flag never offends. It is so nice when people have pride for their country.

Kimberly, I laughed when I read your post, the food sounds good but doesn't mean it "is" good. I laughed because that is so true. I love seafood in general, but usually not on the cruise. I don't know why.

Got my bathing suit in the mail, but I am not up for trying it on. Tomorrow maybe, but it looks okay - no strings!!!

Been on YouTube only this afternoon. And sat watching World of Colour and cried! It looks amazing. We are going to see it. Maybe not too soon..but we are going!
We also have only just realised that everyone visiting WDW this summer gets a real treat as they have suspended Wishes for a summer season of a slightly redesigned fireworks from the Pirates and Princess and Party! Who way to go! My beautiful castle! Captain Hook is so bad..long live the good fairies! I love Wishes..but I love the PAPP fireworks more!
Sigh.
Lyn

PS Dizneyholic..your photos are fabulous!

Lyn - I'd love to see the Pirate and Princess fireworks!! We won't be back out that way until after the cruise but at least we'll finally get to see Hallowishes in person!!! Can't wait!!!!

After the EBTA, we enjoyed seeing the Magic Fountain of Montjuic.

We went in 2007 when we did the WBRepo. My DGD wanted to go becasue the Cheetah girls had been there. We got all they way there and she sttod on the steps overlooking the fountain. Took a deep breath and said "We can go now, I have breathed the air they (the Cheetah girls) have breathed and stood where they stood, I good";) The simple things in life.

I love pride and dedication! May the best team win!

There was a response in my email box when I got up this morning. Sadly for me, this is out due to cost. :sad2: I guess because I'm alone, they stated it would be 198EUR :scared1: ....that's more than 3x the per person cost. I thought that it would still be the pp cost as they would add other people to the van. Apparently that assumption is totally wrong.

I'm quoting the email in its entirety so you can pull from it what may be of interest to you. Good luck!!

We arrive on the 16th as well (there are 6 of us) Maybe we can do a tour as a group. I emailed Jose from Pepitotours to see what, if anything, he had to offer for that day. We did a private one with him in 2007 and are doing another one on the 17th and 18th. I can let you know and we can compare notes.

From the website:

We were planning on using the metro for our morning tour but we would be very interested in one of the guided tours (taking advantage of the airport pickup instead of a taxi) if 4 others wanted to join us. We arrive the morning of the 17th.

Page marker :lmao::lmao::lmao: Well it lets me know where I left off. I have a tiara that I used for my wedding I am game to wear it. Wonder if we can get a group shot :)

Our group shot was a last minute decision. We hadn't planned on one but everyone kept asking me if we could get one. So I just started spreading the word to meet at ?? time (I don't remember exactly) and we'd have some of our own guys take a photo. As it turned out, DCL was taking photos at that time, so one of our ladies jumped in the line. Should have seen the photographer and all the people behind her in line when we all jumped up there :rotfl:. I did warn Christian when I grabbed him that we were going to have a huge gang up there. He thought it was fantastic!

Is anyone doing tiaras for formal night? Becca wants one, and I am trying to get her to reuse the one from BBB...

As Monica has already posted. We did it for the Prince & Princess night. I am bringing mine again and plan to wear it.

OMG...these are fantastic. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to get there again, someday, and see this is person.

I didn't realize there was a prince and princess night...what night is that? Jason and I have very fancy Disney Princesses tuxedo sets and/or if it's not a formal night we have Disney Princess neckties, of course, so we'll be done up in our princess regalia for sure!!

That is the name of the menu (if I recall correctly) for the formal night (when they do Twice Charmed).
