I don't know how many scrapbookers we have out there, but I was thinking, and maybe this would be too much, so please just tell me to sit down, relax and shut up, but I thought it would be fun for all scrapbookers to do an FE gift for fellow scrapbookers. Whether it is something they design for a page, a die cut, a title or border - something fun. I would be happy to organize this if we have people that are interested. If we do not - I will NOT be offended. It is not a whole page, just something "Disney" to add to the page - an embellishment. PM me or tell me on here! Good night to all!!

Love the idea. On the 2007 we actually met and did a page layout. Loads of fun. We also did it on the Eastern PC Repo.

My Dsis and I both do stampin up and scrapbooking. It is a great combination.

Well we are down to 3 DGrands tonight instead of 5. They are bathed and finally a sleep. Fingers crossed they sleep all night. The 13 year old is playing the WII with my DSis. I am off to p/u some milk.

I will probably stop by later. Have a good night

birkner, tweety0227, and HallsofVA: I did sent (another) email to Sharon asking if they have a vehicle for 11 people plus approx 18 pieces of luggage and carry-on. (Whew!) So at this point, a quote request for 5 and 11 people has been submitted.

Their tour is four hours, so will be finished before 2:00 pm local time. Isn't that official siesta start time? :faint:

I am doing the Gibralter day too! Maybe I will see you!!! I love the 20/20/20 and it is well worth it. The hand massage is heavenly - I always get that one!....

Awesome! It's good to hear that you've enjoyed it! I really think there will be enough time to tour the area and get some spa time in; so as of TODAY, that's my plan!

I also like the embellishment exchange idea! It also makes it really special because I know I will think of the person who gave that item to me every time I see it!

Good luck!! I was not the least bit offended!!

It is pretty difficult to offend us. You'd have to do WAY better than that! ;):):rotfl:

I typically hold onto free samples of detergent that I sign up for or receive in the mail/newspaper for vacation use when I know I'm going to need to do laundry prior to getting home.

Someone recently posted the following link for two free 3-1 Purex sheets. I always use Tide liquid, so I'm not sure how great these are, however, under the weight restrictions we have, I'm willing to pack and use these for one or two loads for this vacation. Who knows....maybe they will be great! :confused3

http://www.trypurex.com/Purex_3-in-1_Free_Sample/

PS: I've heard great reviews of Dropps as well, but these sheets still would take up less space and weight.

Thanks, ordered a sample.

Before taking 3-1 Purex sheets on this cruise, you might want to read product reviews or try them at home.

On the EBTA, people tried them at home and found stains on dark clothing. YMMV.

Woody

Thanks, Woody. Will try the sample here then buy some to take if they work ok.

I am still up. Waiting till at least 2 am to make sure the baby does not wake up for a bottle.

It was nice to spend the day with the family. Everyone was there, the in-laws, out-laws, friends and neighbors. The 6 of us who are going on this cruise happened to be sitting around together and were able to talk a little bit about the cruise and do some planning. My DN states her state boards on Tuesday and she is a little nervous. So we will not get into full swing planning till Wednesday:thumbsup2

When we did the repo in 2007 we did not really buy anything (or at least I do not remember it). DN was trying to plan and budget for spending. Does anyone have any idea what is special in Barcelona, Gibralter, Tortola or Maderia that we should budget for? St Maareteen I have under control. There is a jeweler there that we like to frequent who has some nice bobbles.;) Not to mention that yummy drink they have there in St Maarteen.:drinking1

Sounds great... I have lots of Mickey heads for pages... and probably lots of other things...:thumbsup2

Lyn - I'd love to see the Pirate and Princess fireworks!! We won't be back out that way until after the cruise but at least we'll finally get to see Hallowishes in person!!! Can't wait!!!!

Hallowishes for us for the first time also! Cant wait!

Hallowishes is the best fireworks I have ever seen. Its breathtaking .... and it's set to a Halloween themed soundtrack ... amazing!

WOW .... love this :thumbsup2

I often skip the starters completely and order two mains (entrees?) - usually both vegetarian options. On the EBPC, some nights didn't offer starters that were vegetarian anyway.

I'm not bothered about appetisers at all, but you have to do something while everyone else has one or even 2!!!!! ;)The first cruise we did we sat at a table with a couple of single girls,( they were so much fun and we have met them again a couple of times when we have been over) and we all just had an entree and dessert. It came as a bit of a shock on the next cruise, the PC when people had 2 starters!!!:lmao: I got bored, so I began getting one, but I could do without it. They fill me up. I'm a dessert person!!:dance3:

Our group shot was a last minute decision. We hadn't planned on one but everyone kept asking me if we could get one. So I just started spreading the word to meet at ?? time (I don't remember exactly) and we'd have some of our own guys take a photo. As it turned out, DCL was taking photos at that time, so one of our ladies jumped in the line. Should have seen the photographer and all the people behind her in line when we all jumped up there :rotfl:. I did warn Christian when I grabbed him that we were going to have a huge gang up there. He thought it was fantastic!

The best things are sometimes unplanned!:thumbsup2 we did the same on our med cruise last year with a group we'd met on cc.:)

As Monica has already posted. We did it for the Prince & Princess night. I am bringing mine again and plan to wear it.

Mine's going in the case then, my MIL made mine for our wedding, its very simple but special to me :cool1:

I didn't realize there was a prince and princess night...what night is that? Jason and I have very fancy Disney Princesses tuxedo sets and/or if it's not a formal night we have Disney Princess neckties, of course, so we'll be done up in our princess regalia for sure!!

love the sound of all this! I've always wanted to be a princess!:littleangel:

It's getting closer by the day and I am getting very excited...Excursions...set...Palo's set...Spa...still thinking about it--any suggestions?

I love the couples villa, we had such a wonderful time relaxing there and a fab massage...I'd do it again in a heartbat if I had the money!:thumbsup2 All the facials and pedicures and massages have been wonderful....oh the treatments on Castaway Cay were wonderfully relaxing too!:cool1:

I often skip the starters completely and order two mains (entrees?) - usually both vegetarian options. On the EBPC, some nights didn't offer starters that were vegetarian anyway. I've never been able to get a straight answer about whether any of the soups are vegetarian from the wait staff - "yes its vegetarian but it has chicken stock" - so what is vegetarian about that?

That was our worry when we considered taking dd on a cruise as she is vegan, we thought it would be so limited ....

I'm actually considering doing a Port Day special that I'm hopeful they'll offer called 20/20/20. You get to choose three (3) services from the following choices, each 20 minutes in length, for $99.

  • re-hydrating facial
  • neck/shoulder massage
  • back massage
  • scalp massage
  • arm/hand massage
  • foot/ankle massage

I'm thinking Gibraltar day would work for me if it's offered. I like it because of the variety over a full 60 minutes. Most massages are 50 minutes and much more than $99.

I'm there with you! sounds right up my street!:thumbsup2

I was ranting about my dn and friedns, now it has been cleared up I feel bad for trashing them on here, I am not very wise soemtimes.

why would dn believe them before me? As if I would want to go there unless I was 100% sure.

Your Dn isn't worldly wise enough yet to know her friends will do bad things, the kids will stick together. From what you've said so far your dn one day will tell you who it was if she even knows, they could be lying to her too!

Sorry you've had such a bad morning, the day can only get better :flower3:

Aaaw, Lynne. Sorry this has happened and spoilt your relationship with your niece temporarily. She will be stuck in a land between you and her friends and at the moment sticking with her friends seems more important to her, but she will be considering the situation I am sure. Hugs to you.

Do you know, its so silly but you guys mean so much with your kind words, now I wish I had played it cool,I achieved nothing really except fall out with Shaunie, I truly believe she doesnt know who took it,and believes them when they tell her they never. I also believe I know which one did take it, but there you go, Ive got no proof.
Len wasnt here(still isnt) to be the calm one

Lynne, don't give yourself a hard time about how you dealt with it. We react at the time how we react!!! I would probably have been just the same. Your special relationship with your niece won't be difficult for very long.

:flower3::flower3: You brought a tear to my eye.
Len is away running a half marathon that I should have been running but my stupid achillies tendon is still playing up.
Think I might head to the pub:rolleyes:

I have a US friend who damaged her achilles tendon and had a cast, or one of those boot things on for about 6 or 8 weeks which sorted it out. She was off work(nursing) for that time too. I think it is something that takes a long time unfortunately, and I know is very painful. Do rest it.

That would be absolutely perfect! Then we can check in and sleep for a bit, if we want. I am so excited about this.
