Just dropping by and realized I was off for 1 1/2 days and 17 pages were put on. Yup! Its getting closer. I hven't even bothered to look at the DDD countdown, someone just tell me when to leave and where to go and I'll be there.

In my opinion, I do not like Animator's Palate for dinner so LAP is not good for me because you get Animator's 5x's and it is also on the last night. I love Parrot Cay (probably in the minority) and Lumiere's is also a fave. I always get the LAP just because my DD is older so I think that is why. When we had our 1-year old little friend, we were in Parrot Cay the first night. I am going to request but what is the Captain Dining crew requesting since we are going to all link together - any ideas?

I declare that whatever be the rotation , the most important be whatever puts us in Parrot Cay for Pirates night ...Savvy , as we all be Pirates here , I think it be most fitting for this voyage .... What say you ???

I have no preference as to rotation, but I was hoping to have William as server if he is available, which would mean on whatever his rotation is.

Captain, are you going to link with the early dining group? I have not gotten a PM from you yet? We can request the rotation that puts us in PC for Pirates if everyone is up for that.

I just called Praktik Rambla to make my payment because frankly I don't want my credit card number to go across in an email. (BTW, if you didn't know, Capital One does not charge an exchange rate transaction fee.) The nice gentleman who answered said he spoke some English. However, he wasn't understanding that I want to make my payment now. He kept saying "You can pay when you arrive." So, I'll try again after I know he's likely off his shift. I just thought now is a good time because it's early morning hours there, thus they should be bored! Since I speak no Spanish or Catalan outside of my greeting to him of "Hola!", I can't fault the guy. He tried! More than I could do in reciprocation.

Has anyone else tried calling yet?

On the thread for our Double Dip cruise back in 2008 one of the questions of the week on the boards was something to the effect of "What disney character is most like you?"....and in a particularly campy moment I posted "Tinkerbell----cuz she's a sassy little fairy just like me!" Yes, thank you on my behalf. I have not said anything because frankly, I'm not sure what to say, having recently lost my FIL, who was the glue to my husband's family, I am still in a state of shock (Ok its been 16 months) and still not sure what to say to anyone. But please, thank you for your kindness. I know in times like this, it helps to realize that there are people who think of us even if we can't for ourselves.

Why is it that when people find out you are having problems physically and then ask you how you are doing - they always bring up the worst - I head of that before, you have cancer, you better get it checked out, it might be serious. Did the doctor say you will live? WHY???????? I am about to scream. Do these people realize how upsetting it is to people like me that get all anxious and wonder if those people are correct and spend their entire afternoon wondering - well, what if....

Okay, I am done venting - thank you!!!! It just blows my mind!!!

Just to let you know that I sent Heather some flowers from the WBTA Cruisers yesterday because I just felt I had to do something. I know in the light of things it is a small gesture but I just wanted her to know we are all thinking of her.

Anyway .... she received them today and sent me this message:

"Sarah - thank you so, so much for the lovely flowers. The post office tried to deliver them yesterday, but I wasn't in. I collected them this morning and was deeply moved when I saw who they were from. Thank you so much again and please send on my deepest thanks to all the WBTA cruisers for me. I know that you will have have a fantastic time. Heather "

Okay, I just ordered 2 gift cards from Restaurants.com! I am so excited. I didn't know that even existed.

They have fantastic deals at times. There was one time when I was getting $25 certs for $1.50. I don't think I've gone lower than that - at least for getting a certificate!

The one thing you have to be careful of is that in some states they actually do expire after one year; fortunately not in CA!!!! I did note that the Shula one does not expire.

Have no idea what is happening with Early dining link ups. That is why I posted a bit back and all of a sudden the Captains table harps up. Leaving our small but spectacular early dining group in the dust.

I know MrsMork was making a list of who wanted to be linked. I emailed her back in March. How big is our list. Should we have a list that people can see too? I think she was only looking after the list. Not sure what happens now. Never linked to anything lol

We had looked into it, but they do not appear to have the seminars they offered when we did the 2007 repo. If you find out anything different please let me know.

I just called the hotel again with better success. She stated that they must have written authorization for payment, so you have to either fax the authorization [(34) 93.304.33.32] with the the following information or send an email to reservas@hotelpraktikrambla.com.

• Name on Reservation
• Reservation Confirmation Number
• State you authorize payment for <insert your fee in Euros>
• Name on Card
• Credit/Debit Card Number
• Card Expiration Date

As Krisann suggested, another alternative to secure the good Euro exchange rate right now is to order additional Euros from your currency source to cover this expense. Although, I would call or email to confirm cash is acceptable because I see the following noted on their website as well as on my confirmation email. I'm sure it's really just referencing what credit cards they accept, however, the way it's worded does leave room for uncertainty.

So whatever rotation they want to give us, as long as it is early dining, I am good with it. As for the rest of you, Hope you all get what you want.

Excellent thoughts on the Dining Rotation - I agree!!! Also, I agree with you on giving money to help with the expense of flowers. If you wait till September, I can give it in Euro!!!
