That is so true Sarah. Thats why I am going back in 2011 with my kids, even though they will be 20 and 17. I want them to keep coming with us on Disney trips and making special memories. Fortunately they are not the types to give up on Disney trips in order to go raving in Ibiza, or Magaluf or somewhere equally delightful.

Well hopefully this is going to be a family vacation for me Dan, Mum&Dad and sis and hubby - still trying to sort out leave etc so its up in the air for now but Im sure itll work out! I hope so cause I want another family holiday and Im 28 lol!

Catching Up

Just keep posting. :surfweb::thumbsup2

YAY!!!!

Oh, whew! I thought I might need to deal with whole different dates! :rotfl: This I can do! I think our military does it your way. DH did that alot when he first was discharged.

and we say skivies for underpants. More so male underpants than womens. ;)

And my mom (mum to you all!) wears her fanny pack in front, therefore making it a tummy pack. :rolleyes1

My sis was told that the Stack is a grandma free place by the staff there! I'm not saying she's a hovering grandma......:sad2:

So funny! Our DS's dog (lives with us just now) is the same. DrHug did some pruning a couple of days ago and the branches were scattered all over. When I went to pick them up the dog grabbed them and ran around and around!! :rotfl2:

I also love to just order the drink of the day. :woohoo: Surprise me, they are all good and I'm on vacation, I don't want to make any more decisions than I have must!! :rolleyes1

Too Funny, Lynne!! And great to be carded!! :flower3:

This is strange! Both made me tear up. The memories that we are creating, that's what it's about!

Not sure who is hot or not anymore. I really don't keep up with names of celebraties anymore.

You all probably know what mine is....the night I met DrHug. My all time favorite day. :cloud9:

Im with you on Drinks of the day! Means you try different things

My all time favourite - Sombrero. Now I was told this was kahula and milk but when we ordered it in Wavebands they got so confused we had kahula and brandy?? Very odd

Me too Sarah, I hardly met my granparents, 1 I never met, my mum lost her mum when she was 12,I plan to make up for it with Mum and dad, I am more than happy to cruise with my parents, they are great fun and very considerate, they love Len and him them, I am lucky to have them both. and will enjoy them both as long as I can. Also they pay the bar bills;)

Same here! lol! On the EBTA me and my sister camped out in the hot tub and my Dad was sat at the bar. After lots of jesturing he brought us drinks! It does come to something though when you get the bar staff coming over saying "is he paying?" lets think what answer Im going to give????:rotfl2:

A local dept store (Herbergers) had a great early bird sale this morning. We went and bought new luggage, which we sorely needed, for this trip. We got purple....think we will be able to spot it at the airport? :) We got 5 pieces, two 30 inch, 2 25 inch and a 20 inch. Now it feels like we are getting closer! :thumbsup2

Well done. Im hoping Mum & Dad are getting new luggage so I can steal theirs lol! Ive already aquired a pull along for the plane off mum

Hopefully in 2011 we can also bring my Mum .... well I say hopefully but it's a bittersweet situation really. Mum will only travel if we look after her dog, who is a 14 year old golden retriever. She will NOT leave the dog with anyone else. So the only way we will all travel together is when the dog is no longer with us. That said it will be very sad when that happens as the dog has been my Mum's focus and priority since Dad passed away, and I'm sure it will have a massive negative impact on Mum when the dog passes. The only up side is she will be able to come with us on family holidays.

Sorry about another sad post ..... I promise to be upbeat and positive for the rest of the evening .....

Angie..............

you are missing the funniest thing..

Fanny is a very rude word in the uk, I feel guilty typing it.:lmao:

Where is the motor home these days?
You will be away making pies before you know it!

Lynne Im with you! Does feel wrong writing it. Its a Bum Bag! At least that sounds better - although you dont wear on your bum so tummy bag is more accurate

Ah bless her! I can't blame her on that one! We had/have a great dog sitter who has a farm so our dogs (my sisters since ours died) usually go there as its so big they have a great time! My sisters new dog Zoey was her focus after my Grandad followed by his dog who she cared for died a few years ago. We get to look after her for 2 weeks at the end of March while Lindsay, her hubby, mum and dad go on another cruise! Itll be the first cruise theyve done just the four of them so should be nice, and I get a dog to play with!

At least your mums dog has had a very good (I assume by how your mum is about leaving her) and long life. Ours lived to be 16 I think in the end and were loved so so much! We were with them when they went and that makes it somehow easier. Morbidly we do have thier ashes in the house, which actually is comforting. Dan thinks Im mad cause I say hi to them when ever I go to my Mums but they are still part of our family.

And yes - happier posts please lol! Trouble with being ill and on my own this weekend means Im sat here moping around as it is so need to be cheered up! lol

Wonder why it is called a bum bag in any case ... no one wears it with the bag part on their backside? Very strange. To be medically correct it should be a lower abdominal bag or a pelvic bag, depending on how low slung you wear it. In fact, if you wear it very low slung we could be looking at fanny pack as an accurate description ... unless of course you are male and goodness knows what it would be called then :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Im blaming it on who ever called in a "Fanny Pack" as Fanny is bum in the US isn't it? Pelvic Bag sounds so funny! I agree if you wear it low enough its definately a Fanny pack!

Amber is definitely part of the family .... and she is above me in the pecking order for sure :rotfl:

LOL don't worry Zoey - my sisters dog - is above both of us in my Dad's pecking order Im sure of it! Me and Lindsay live about 10 mins from each other, but he goes to see Lindsay so he can play with the dog and never comes to see me :rotfl2:

I could look after the dog, then you would have to visit me.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I normally charge a fortune but I would do it free for Amber.

Bum bag, sorry, lower abdominal lateral bag. when I was really really fat, we are at Fl, I wore the bum bag one Day, Len the next, he put it on ( I can hardly type for laughing, but you probably had to be there) it fell down, he turned to everybody and with a totally straight face, said " the rain must have stretched it" :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I don't know if there are any cruisers on the WBTA who are in the tsunami warning area, but if there are, I hope they all stay safe. What a scary thing!

I just found this picture online. It's basically showing them clearing the beach.

soft
Lynne you are sooooooo funny :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

It always cracks me up when people refer to "GITS" .... not exactly a term of endearment in the UK :confused3:confused3
Another? Oh, sorry! :flower3::rotfl::rotfl2:

Any of you cruisers heading to the D23 get together at D'land on the 10th, 9:00 to midnight after the park closes? Marc and I will be there!

How about the DIS meet on the 13th? Anything happening with that one yet? We'll be back in town and would love to meet anyone going!

Michael
