We are in Saratoga from disembarkation day...until Sat 9th Oct. And desperate to attend a MNSSHP. Anyone looking at collating a post cruise MNSSHP meet? I admit I havent checked dates yet..and get confuised with the date/month thingy difference between UK and US... :-(

We have different dates/months???? Oh, I have led such a sheltered life.

Driving this morning was not any better. I got caught in a snow drift this morning and had to wait about a minitue for the wind to die down. here is a pic out of my windshield when i was caught in it.

We did it! My DW and I have been reading these posts since they were started. We booked the WBTA the first morning in Fall 2008. Our airfare is on US Air from Portland, OR to Philadelphia and then to Barcelona. We will be staying at The Praktik, Barcelona from Wednesday through Saturday. The only thing we have left to do is figure out transfers from the Barcelona Airport to the hotel and to the port on Saturday morning.

We did 7 in the Walt, a one time deal to celebrate. My dad had passed away and his name was Walt. He had left me some extra money to do this trip so it was to celebrate his life and memory.

Whoo boy... I have a lot of catching up to do!
I'm gonna try to read all these pages later tonight when I have more time.

I wanted to ask though- is our website not working? Or do I need to log in somewhere or something? I am on a new computer so I may have been logged in on the old computer (cached or whatever) but now I'm not? everything has little boxes of error messages and I can't see the roll call. I was trying to see if I'd ever got around to adding ourselves!

But anyway- I have exciting news (for us anyway LOL) - one of our cat 10's turned into a cat 3. It's time for our family to happy dance.


We're in 8522 (I know- not one of the "good" cat 3's- but we'll take it LOL) and we still have 5524 SPH room........
We may have to cancel one of our upcoming cruises (probably aug 2011) but that's okay- we'd have been crusing THREE times that year anyway! And that's a lot of extra costs like airfare and such. LOL But it's worth it....... we really enjoyed the cat 3 on the last cruise! We're so excited!

Interesting note: when we rebooked more rooms onboard on our last cruise last May...... when we had the cat 3 for that cruise... we asked about changing to cat 3 for the TA and although none were available- she did tell us how much it would be (to change one room, 2 ppl to a cat3 instead of our cat 10) and the price we were offered today for the cat 3 is only $100 more than what she told us onboard last May. So the price hasn't gone up much!

DH is outside trying to shovel the snow so we can go pick up the boys from preschool. Poor thing...as he shovels, it keeps falling on him....

We are not sure if we are flying into Barcelona the day before, but if so, we would love to find out about a group rate at a hotel, or transfers. We will definitely keep that in mind. Our first plan was to fly overseas a day or so early, but with work, it is up in the air.

Is the website for all of us down? I tried to go on and it wasn't working. Thanks!

Okay, hope this is okay, but I wanted to post a Question for the Day: What are your FAVORITE CRUISE DRINKS???
Mine include: Bon Voyage, BBC (DH's favorite), and the Mocha with Bailey's in the Cove Cafe

Although I like frothy things, I struggle with my wt and it is calories I can do without, my fav drink is the first glass of wine of the evening, getting ready to go to dinner


Re disney package...............this is funny

We have lots of snow up our drive, some a****le had been skidding and made a right mess, wheel spinning, dug up half the drive??!! I just knew it had been a white van man.

Never thought about it, I was at mums to collect beagles post hairdresser(have a new short highlighted and low lighted hair do(whatever that is)) for hols next week.

Just checking in after a very busy week. Still haven't called DL to see if we got the OBC. DH seems to remember that letter, but hasn't looked either . . .

Praying for some serious spring to break through soon. We've never had such a cold snowy winter . . . you know it's bad when the elderly folks in the table next to you in the restaurant are all discussing how THEY haven't seen a winter like this one! Uggghh! Looking forward to having a tan again . . .

we've had a lot more snow here than we've had in a long time (32 years to be exact!) but goodness-- nothing like that! You were driving along and suddenly that much snow? Scary!

Just received confirmation of PIF! Still has fuel surcharge on it, though.

I emailed them - thanks to a heads up from Lynne (orlandothebeagle) - and got them to rebook me. The price of the room had gone up by around $70 per person but still worked out a decent saving and I kept my OBC. I think its around $150 cheaper than I was paying with FSC. Still not sure if I did the right thing as would get an extra $150 back if they did refund FSC but I thought it wasn't worth the risk.

Yeah our dates for like today the 27th Feb would be 27/2/10 but you would be 2/27/10. Its great fun trying to remember especially when your birthdays the 12th of March as in some places I've written it and theyve assumed Im a December child lol
