I did remember to book BCV for a week post cruise. We got just a studio since it will only be the 2 of us. :goodvibes:hug: We are finally out of point debt!! :dance3: I actually banked 22 points this year. We have been borrowing every year since 2002. :sad2: Now to see what we can use the rest of next years points on......um, a cruise? :rolleyes1

How about these for the Monday questions.......

1. What is your favourite snack while onboard?

2. Who would be your fantasy special guest/performer that you would want to be onboard?

I am a bit late with answering this week but my computer is still not working and I have pinched DS's lappy while he is at school. It's horrible not having access to my computer - I feel as though I have lost a body part :rotfl:

My answers:

1. Snacks: Last time I didn't really have any snacks as such between meals as the meals kept me so full - but the only thing I tried were the chocolate chip cookies and the soft serve ice cream - so I would have to say those were my favourite snacks.

2. Entertainment: I would love to see any of the Disney imagineers doing a talk or especially anyone from the Pirates of the Caribbean films (cast or crew). I love "behind the scenes" sort of entertainment. For traditional singers I would love someone like Ricky Martin or any vocalists from the Disney films.

I am here,
just moving slow in the cold weather.

Down in the 20's the next few nights and next week the weatherman said a naughty "S" word on his forecast:eek:
Some of you know what I am talking about. I hate to even think about that word. (snow) So we shall see what happens.:confused3

Tonight is a big football game for Oregon called the Civil war game. One of the 2 Oregon teams who wins will be going to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena:woohoo: which is rare for Oregon. Our sports teams usually dont do too well.

I live about 50 miles from where the game is. Everyone is going nuts!! You would think it was the Super Bowl the way the state is acting;)

I am making some munchies to have while watching the game tonight. DS is coming to watch it with DH. DS professor is letting class out early so everyone can see the game. They would all leave early anyway, so he may as well let them go. Of course then he can see the game too.;)

Thats all from Oregon for today.

Later all,
Kathy

Where is everybody??:confused3
I miss you guys!

I'm here :yay::yay: Hi Lynne

Hi Kathy - we have already had some of the "S" word falling on the high ground - down here by the coast it is just endless rain : (

Maybe you'll be lucky and the "S"stuff will stay on the higher ground:thumbsup2
I am on the Floor of the Willamette Valley. Between lots of hills and mountains. So it's highly unusual for us to get snow.
At least the dogs will love playing in it if it comes.:goodvibes

I just finished baking my cream puffs. After they cool I will fill them. Half will be chocolate and the other half normal whipped cream. Both will have a drizzle of chocolate on them when i am done.

Deviled eggs are done and taco meat is cooked off for Taco Pinwheels. Guess I will be done before the game comes on tonight after all.:worship:

Later ,

Kathy

We will be watching the civil war game tonight also. Go Beavers!!! :cheer2: Never ever been a Duck fan. We lived in Oregon for 20 years, so we know the craziness that goes on around this game. Saturday is a big game for us also. Our University of Montana Grizzlies are playing the second of the playoff games. El Paso folks will be coming up here for that. We are predicting the s word to welcome them. :thumbsup2:rolleyes1 Our Griz are undefeated this year and we hope they stay that way right up to the championship game. Griz are in 1AA league.

I did some baking today also. Two apple pies and 3 loaves of bread. MMMMMM. Smells good! :goodvibes

Still, here as well.

Been busy at work. I love getting called back in to work at night after finishing a day shift, just to work through the night and be right back into another day shift. Another 36 hours without sleep :cool1:

:goodvibesHey everyone! Haven't posted in awhile. Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and is gearing up for the holidays! Tomorrow is my youngest sons bday, turning 3!! So I have been busy working on his cake and the inlaws came in today from VA. Should be a nice weekend.

So what is new around here?! LOL!:cloud9:

Just wondering if anyone has an educated guess as to how full the ship will be... What about upgrades at the port? Will they be non existant? Any guesses? Also, thoughts on upgrades in general... We are in a cat 4. Is it worth trying for an upgrade? We normally do a cat 6, so we are already in a larger room than we normally would be, but we are curious...

Thanks in advance!
Sue

Snacks... Cookies
Entertainment... I would love Jimmy Buffet on board!! But, I am a parrot head at heart, so... Needless to say, I doubt that this would happen, but I can dream, right? :)

I have no idea on how full the ship will be. Seems several jumped ship when the new itineraries were announced. :confused3

It is a really good game. Not happy with the score right now, but still an exciting fun game. :cheer2:
