I hope everyone had a great holiday yesterday and can still fit into your pants today:lmao: I see a few people around here in sweat pants this morning.;)

The sun is creeping out now. Hope it warms it up some.

Have a great day everyone,

Kathy

Isn't this the first year you guys have not hosted the family gathering? Since you are probably gone, I will just wish you both a
Happy Thanksgiving!!

The second. We moved to MT last Sept so we are too far for the masses to gather. Nice of you to remember this. :goodvibes We are still visiting today, will all head back to our homes tomorrow.

Willkommen Marion und Ihre Familie,

Welche Stadt kommen Sie aus? Es tut Mir leid - Ich schriebe nicht gut Deutsch!

Yes, what he said. ;)
That is the same tour that interested me, I am hoping that my "old foogies":rolleyes1 will be interested as well.

Sounds good to these old foogies! :rotfl: Maybe Marilyn and John will join us and we can get one of the 6 passenger vehicles. Want to handle that for us, PJ? :worship:

Angie and Marilyn, if you are all interested, I would love to do this. The 4.5 hr tour sounds like it covers enough to get a good feel and leave time to perhaps sample some lovely wine before heading back.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving everyone!

The Toboggan ride looks cool.

I work for the local Girl Scout council.

Hope those of you who went out for holiday deals got what you wanted.

Another grotty weather day here in Wales .....what does everyone have planned for the weekend? Today I will be mostly acting as a taxi for the kids and food shopping . We have our usual Sunday family lunch tomorrow with my Mum :goodvibes and then I have a dreaded night shift tomorrow night :sad2: Not very inspiring I'm afraid.

Also my computer which I have had for 10 years has finally died on me and I now have the hassle of buying a new one and all the decisions - mac or pc, laptop or desk top etc etc. I will have to use my DS's laptop in the meantime, when he is in school - so I may be less frequently on here for a while.:sad2:

Angie, we're going to decline this, sorry. We have been around most of the island, so are just going to wander around Funchal this time. It would have been fun to spend the day with you all though, but lots of time on the ship.:yay::yay:

Some people call them their finest "dinner pants". The ratio of people disembarking from a cruise wearing "dinner pants" greatly inceases exponentially compared to the number of people wearing them on embarkation as the overall length of the cruise is factored in.:lmao:

Leaving for a dive in a few minutes. Water should be a warm 46F :cool1: Then finish getting things done around the house. I won't have to worry about the "to do list", Candida gave up on make that a few years ago :rolleyes1. Now she just tell me what to do :flower3:

Must be the weekend, a time when there are other things :laundy:to do instead of posting on DIS:surfweb:. Not much going on here this weekend. Or, is it just that after 1yr 2months 17 days, 3 threads, 667 pages, 10003 posts people just don't have much to say. :rotfl2: Yeah, like that would ever happen this group didn't get to 10003 posts by being shy. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Good Morning, Jon. We just got up our Christmas tree. This will be DGD18mos first "aware of stuff" Christmas and I can't wait to see her reaction to it. I dressed the tree in a lot of old things that I don't care if she touches; I just don't want to spend the next few weeks telling her to stay away from the tree and worrying about breakable ornaments.

Hello Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes it's been since August that I haven't been on the boards. From Aug. 28th to Sept. 30th, I had three family members pass away. My uncle first, then my grandma frances and my father was the one on Sept. 30th. I am still doing a lot of paperwork for my father and our family trust. The attorney who did the trust from California never filed the change of ownership for the California property. Yes it's been rough here in Utah since the end of August. The holiday and daily activities have been rough for all of us here, especially for my mom. I just wanted you to know that I haven't been lurking but not on the boards at all.

Since there are TOO many pages to read, if someone would be so kind as to let me know thru a PM if there is anything important I need to know, I would totally appreciate. I will try to catch up in my free time. I truly hope everyone had a very nice holiday and weekend. I am looking forward to reconnecting with everyone.

Hugs from Utah,
Karen and Gang

Karen, i hope things will get better for you soon. Loosing loved ones is something none of us ever want to face. I am glad you have family to help you through this. I will be keeping good thought for you and your family.

Good morning everyone,
Here is a link to my trip report from our 11/7/09 cruise and days at WDW if anybody wants to have a look. More pictures than writing. I am not a good writer. So I rely on photos:thumbsup2

Sorry to hear your news. :hug:What a bad few months you have had.

So, how are we going to co-ordinate the daily Monday question? First come, first serve for the next question or first poster to the previous question gets to ask the next?
