I hope so - I will certainly try!

We need the Capt to do that!

Subway is always a good alternative to have on standby!

I might try and blast everyone with a Facebook message - see who's still with us and who has jumped.

Hi - glad you're still with us :goodvibes

Definitely a good idea Noel. We must try and find our absent Captain and get that done!

See Sarah this is why we need people with a brain on this cruise. Logically I could have done that on Facebook but did I think of it? No!

I am still here. We returned last week from our Adventures by Disney trip to Prague, Salzburg, and Vienna. We had a wonderful time and saw some very beautiful Austrian countryside. We are in the midst of planning our New Years trip to WDW and with nine of us going it was fun making our ADR's from Prague when the window opened up. The internet kept crashing so I had to make them with my cell phone. I told the woman on the other end I was calling from Europe at $2.29 per minute and she had me off the phone in 6 minutes with everyjting booked including the candle light prcessional. Talk about great service. As soon as that trip is over we will be concentrating on the cruise, but have made sure we have all our transportaion and hotels lined up.

It did take me a while to catch up, but I am still out here lurking.

Glad you had a nice trip! Can't believe they managed to get you all sorted in 6 minutes! Usually takes them that long to work out I want to book something lol

Looks like lots of us are busy planning and getting things sorted out.
Us... we're still in for the long haul of this cruise.:banana:

Just busy taking care of the house, I go into surgery Wednesday, home by Friday(I hope). Nothing too serious. But down for a few weeks. So, I'll be a "looker" for a while. So post, and I'll read alot!:rotfl2:

Ann :flower3:

Ann hope it all goes well!

My question is where is our captain. Seems he has not posted since July 22 does anyone know?

I know! He's definately MIA. Last I think he said was he was off on holiday for a week but since then, nada! I was curious as to whether he had jumped to Panama Canal as I know he has done the last few PC cruises but I can't see posts from him since July so not 100% sure where he is!

Just to let everyone know I have been in touch with our Captain and am relieved to be able to tell that he still has every intention of sailing with us on this voyage. He says that he has just been very busy with home stuff at the moment. So that's good news :woohoo::woohoo:

Hey more Brits YEAH!!!!! Me and my DBF are coming on this one. We're from South Wales (there's 2 Brit Sarah's to confuse everyone lol). It's my 6th cruise (so I'm Gold yeah!) and Dan's first (I know right, jumping in at the deep end springs to mind). I've booked our London to Barcelona flights and now trying to decide which Hotel to book for the Friday night (not flying in until 11pm so trying to get one close to the airport).

Thanks for the welcome chaps - much appreciated :goodvibes
We are Chris and Julie - from the Lake District where, just for a change, its raining this morning!
Regarding flights, I see Icelandic air have single return flights from, Toronto, NYC and Boston for around £280 in Sept 10. So I`m thinking that might be the way to get home. I don`t really want to spend £580 with Virgin. Plus it would be good to have a stop in Iceland!
We thought, or to be more precise I thought we might stay in Barcelona for three nights and I quite like the look of the Grand Hotel, its about £140 on night on Expedia.
For some reason I`m really worried about getting robbed there and I don`t want to lose the passports, everything else is OK.
Anyways have a good day all.

Funny, My mum was telling me of her friend that lives in spain e-mailed her and said to watch your stuff in barcelona, It doesnt worry me, as long as you careful it will be fine, cant be any worse than italy etc. She was also going on about how we should stop at iceland sometime, they went for the weekend and loved(except the cost!) go for it.

Just got an email from DU and our waitlist for a cat 3 has come up. Snatched their hand off, and so now we're in one of the huge handicap accessible cat 3 aft rooms. Can't wait.

One method of protection from a pickpocket is to line the inside of your handbag with mousetraps (not the fancy friendly traps, but the good old wire kind) They stick their hand in and  . It's also a way of protection from the impluse shopping. ;)

My other half went to Barcelona last year and saw someone being pick pocketed! Just be careful with your values. Leave as much as possible in the room safe and just keep your eyes open. It isn't any more dangerous than going to London really.

That Icelandic air price looks good.

Well done! Have to remember this when it comes to getting people to volunteer to be part of a room tour! A Cat 3 would be useful!
