Just have to say for good measure...

I only had my brows waxed!!! Oh I am SOOO with you other ladies on the waxing thing! I don't think I would ever even CONSIDER waxing anywhere but my face. ACK! I get chills just thinking about it!!

And Pam, don't feel bad...Not only do I not have anything in a suitcase yet, but I also have not brought the suitcases up from the basement!! They will need to be dusted off and aired out, so I guess I better do that tonight when I get home!! LOL

SHEESH!!! Sometimes I think I am the QUEEN of procrastination!!!
(I just love that cheesy toothy smile!! It makes me happy!)

Know what else makes me happy?

Things are goin my way!!!!! This has been a great day so far!

1st off I found out that the Oral Surgeon's office who said I owed them $300+ billed the insurance company wrong and now they owe me $176!!! This is after months of fighting with them and trying to get them to realize that they indeed screwed up!

2nd I just got off the phone with my Preschool Of Choice!! I don't know if any of you remember my delima of loosing my 3 year old's preschool registration in a pile last spring and finding it a month before school started only to find they were full, and I was 3rd or 4th on the waiting list, so I enrolled him in a different school, which is right next door to my office, but I'm still uneasy with it, well the Preschool I wanted originally said that they had twins not show up in Mrs. Houtz's class, who by the way was the same teacher my other 3 kids had for their 3 year old teacher at that school, so we're switching schools!!! I've decided to go ahead and send him to the old school tomorrow for the last day, then start the new (old to me) one after the cruise!!

3rd.... we leave TOMORROW!!!!!

Can things get any better???

Having our own company I kinda blur the line between company/personal, so lots of personal things are paid out of that checkbook.... kinda nice I have time to do this at work... while being paid!

There are soooo many things wrong with this statement. That being said...The line looks blurry from here! Must be blurry. We have our own company too. Isn't it grand I draw a salary and don't even work there! But, of course, I am vice president.

I sound like I am flipping out. I'm not crazy, really. Hope I'm not scaring you all! Think I'm scaring myself a bit though...

So glad it's not just us that are not ready going around like a chicken's with our heads cut off.
Just got back from Jacksonville, had a meeting there got to do some other work and some last minute shopping and DH had done most of the packing for this crazy family Trying to get in each suitcase what belongs to each seperate room...otherwise you'll see us transporting items from one room to another 4 floors difference.
DD went and got her DS a three piece suit and new shoes last night....he looks sooooo cute So no button is needed on the other atire of his after all.
Well I know we're all very busy and very, very HAPPY so remember to be careful everyone and we'll see you all soon

I don't see what the problem with waxing is, Pour hot wax on your body, lay some cloth strips on the hot wax and rip the hair out from the roots.. sounds like a perfectly great time to me...

The pain only last for a couple seconds, and really whats a little pain?

I remember reading on here about button extenders, do you know where I could find them? My dh's neck is a bit too big for his top button of his shirts, and the next size is too big all over, would these work for this??

Not much time to type. Had the funeral today - it was good to be with family..

Christal - Gilmore Girls is a show with a plot, characters, etc - see my rule about reality show addiction.

We're headed to get pedicures now.

Ordered DSis' stateroom gift for Saturday - don't say anything to her until Sunday, okay?

Off to Mansfield (about 30 mintues from us) after the pedicure to get some last minute clothes for DSis.

I enjoyed reading all of your scrambling. My last post will be Friday night around 7 PM.

I was very into getting Cabanna Massages and did it like Palo. Keep checking online and see if one pops up. I got lucky and found a couples Cabanna Massage right around the time of the bad weather in Orlando...don't know if someone cancelled or what but hey, I got it booked. I'm sure there will be changes once everyone gets on the ship, but I heard they did not hold back Spa treatments like they do Palo, so until you leave keep checking just in case! I have also been watching for a Palo spot to open up. I found one just one time and it was for dinner on the first night and I thought that would not be a good time since we may not even have our luggage or know our servers yet. Anyway...good luck!

Everyone else - It's almost time!!!!!!! My game plan is to try to pack myself tonight. We'll see how the plan goes!

So...I'm feeling pretty crazy right now. What do I pack and of that, what do I pack tonight and what tomorrow night? And what this and what that do I pack? I do not remember it being this hard last year. But then I had a few beers and my surrogate mom came over to help while her husband entertained DD. I'm just freaked out right now for no good reason. maybe a good waxing will help me get back to my senses!

Susan, Button extenders....I would go to Joanne's fabrics (they have bra extenders....I HEAR!) What about target in the sewing/novelties section (usually an endcap by towels) or even the grocery store in the catch all section. that is all I can think of. Good luck. tell him to just leave it unbuttoned under the tie and we will all pretend we don't notice.

Donna, I hope kitty is okay. No stress needed right before vacation~! I will stand on deck four waiting to toss the bouy, looking for you on Saturday. Swim hard and sure, there'll be a margarita and a congo band waiting.

Jenny, Hope your day was as good as it could be. At least you don't have to worry on the trip and your great grandma can go cruisin with you.

What a pleasant surprise! We were upgraded from a Cat. 9 to a Cat. 6, room 5128. Really did not expect this especially because we did not have a gty. but picked our original room. We have never had a verandah. It will be a real treat!

Jenny, can you please make note of our room number in case we don't make it to the DIS meet. That way you could stick a reminder list in our door. We are planning on being there but if for some reason our flight is late like last year we will remember when to meet later.

Will be checking in as much as possible through Friday evening.

Jen - on the challenge, I can almost guarantee I could win it. From the sounds of when Jenny is leaving the boards - I have almost 12 HOURS to post and post and post talking to myself over and over again just so I could win the challenge!

Which is the silly way of saying I'm going to MISS you guys that are lucky enough to leave today, tomorrow or Friday. It's going to be so quiet here, I'm going to cry. The upside is I'll actually have time to pack since I won't be on the computer catching up on 100 posts!

Donna - I've been thinking about you ALL day. It was so scary when Katrina hit and the power went out. I hope power stays on for you - and that you can fly out as planned. Keep us posted!

Okay - I have to jump in on this shows stuff. I just don't do reality shows. I know - it's almost un-American. I did watch the first two series of Survivor and one of the Amazing Race - but quickly got bored. Instead I'm a crime scene/sci fi junkie. I just love CSI, CSI NY, CSI Miami, NCIS, Without a Trace, Las Vegas, Cold Case, Monk, etc. So - can I still go on the cruise? Even if my addiction is a bit more twisted than reality?

Ah well - this not thinking about packing seems to be working. I'm not stressing - I'm happy (or I'm in denial - you choose!).

Sue, I am with you....while I don't turn the TV on in the summer (except for one show which is too pathetic to post even with you guys), I watch a ton of shows in the fall (a lot of the ones you listed). One you definately should check out (literally, then there would be no commercials) is 24. It is the best show. Start with season one. I promise you won't be disappointed. The thing with reality shows is you have to commit long enough to get to know the characters. Otherwise, you are right, it is boooorrriiinnggg.
