Okay, Jenny, Miss glass is half empty....you could look at it like I am helping you not miss the next episode of it....besides, as far as life changing.....I ate dinner while watching it, and the dog was disappointed by the left overs (BUT it was a lean cuisine and tuna...and two glasses of wine hiccup) I love that show, pathetic as it may be!

Well I'm just checking in before I have to go to work. I figure then I will be all caught up until I get home today and then I will have about 100 new posts so then I will be behind. I think tomorrow morning will be the last post from me because I work tomorrow and then we are leaving when we get home from work. I think I'm going to put our luggage in our van in the moring so I don't have to run around when I get home from work. Well I have to go to work, everyone have a good day.

OH MY.............. How do you all find the time in the last few days before our cruise to write so much. I think I hold the record for the longest day at the hairdresser. I was there from 10:00 a.m yesterday until 4:20. YES it took that long. I just sat there wathcing my day pass me by ( ) and not getting anything but hair and waxing done.

Almost forgot, I got called to DD school to pick her up bc she was sick with a belly ache. YES I had to show up in my hair in foils. I have alot of hair so you can imagine how many foils I had. I got a lot of looks and laughs. The good thing is she made a full miraculous recovery by the time we got back to the hairdresser.

KAREN - I am with you, gave up on the diet and settled for a new cruise wardrobe.

TRISHA and STEVE - I too am very sorry about your beloved pet. I had that same decision to make Memorial Day weekend. My dog began having seizures and went down hill fast. It was an aweful decision to make but had to be done. My DS kept her collar with the tags and placed it on his stuff doggy animal. Now that dog is "chelsea" and I get to hear that jingle of the tags every day. I still miss her.

JENNY - so very sorry about your grandmother. It is hard to see them suffer but there is a sense of peace knowing she is not in any more pain and when you see her again she will be painfree.

JEN - what on earth are you going to do when this cruise is over. You have taken an awesome charge of this group. We will have to have a post cruise thread to post pics etc and share our stories.

FRANK LOLA AND MISSY - all I can say is

I have to and get DS to school, cleaners, target/walmart and then come home and start to pull outfits to pack.Tracy comes tomorrow night and I am in no way ready for her.

This may or maynot be my last post, If so I hope all have a safe trip from their departing location to their final destiny. Also one more thing you'll may consider bringing on the cruise is a (not expensive) set of walkie-talkies so that you may stay in contact with the spouse or the children. There are times on the ship when you spend to much time just searching for each other. And who knows, we (FFC) may even be able to put them on the same frequency and communicate with each other during the cruise. Any electronic store may have them for about 20 bucks for the set.

Karen D....Great story~! I love picturing you in the Florida heat, running into the pre school, picking up all sorts of alien frequencies on your highly stacked tin foil, to pick up your daughter! And then she is fine Soooooooo typical. You have a double stress....you have to get ready for the cruise and get ready for company ....that is a lot of work.

I can't believe we leave tomorrow! Eeeekkkk! I am so excited and I so need to pack...I kept packing and unpacking and repacking (read obsessive) so now I need to do all the thousands of little things that still need done.

But first I have to drive my dog to Loveland (1.5 hours away)to drop him at sister in laws house. Yuck! I am just worried that, with all that's going on, I will leave and forget the dog!

I hope all have a safe trip from their departing location to their final destiny.

We can, atleast share pics and stories. I wish I could figure out a way, after we post the pics to save the website to a disc. Any computer geniuses out there?

DS (1) is at daycare...DS (3) is at his first real day of preschool...and I am almost done packing! I ran around like a chicken with it's head cut-off last night trying to get it done! Of course, DH has not packed one thing yet! I am trusing DS (15) to do his own packing...god help me! Now I need to take a shower and run a few last minute errands! I am so exicted

We are going to the Buckeye Cafe tonight for The Columbus Pizza Challenge...it is a Children's Hospital fundraiser. I think the diet may go down the tubes tongiht! Althought...I have lost 13 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I guess it is time to reward myself!

I'm off to balance my checkbook (company), guess I should know for sure what's in it before we leave! Having our own company I kinda blur the line between company/personal, so lots of personal things are paid out of that checkbook.... kinda nice I have time to do this at work... while being paid! One day I'll find out this job really isn't a place to get caught up on my own company's paperwork!! But till then...

I was up till 2am packing lastnight... still not done. I'm going to have at least 4 suitcases and 3 garmet bags (one small one). But I think I'm going to have to hit my in-laws up for one of their suitcases as well. I'd better re-check the luggage allowance by SW.... don't want to start out with too much luggage!! I'm sure we'll have even more coming back!

Hi all! Crazy days here too. I'll be posting til just after midnight on Thursday -- have to stay up to print out the boarding passes. And I know I'll be doing last minute packing changes, etc.

Then we leave at 2 or 2:30am to Kansas City International. And have my first DIS meet there w/ Susan (KSUMom) and her family.

Hopefully we'll see some of you all at the Hyatt on Friday too.

Going to try to get DH to FOCUS and finish (all but the toiletries) packing tonight.

One thing I thought of lastnight that you probably don't want to forget is carmex, or chapstick of some type. My DS 6 has been licking his lips or something lately and has badly chapped lips right now, that salty air & sun might cause more chapped lips for everyone.

I have GOT to get started on packing! LOL
I'd like to start tonight, but in reality, I will probably just spend my entire day off tomorrow getting it done...(these things cannot be rushed into, you know! )

I hope everyone has successful packing/traveling, and I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!! (I'm sure I'll be stopping by here before I leave) But for those of you leaving tonight/tomorrow, have a safe trip!!!

Oh, and just for the record, I'll throw this out...Something tells me that "Missy/Frank" still has a few tricks up "her/his" sleeve...We'll see!!

Good thing I don't leave until Sat. morning. I have done nothing to get ready for this trip except to get my hair permed, cut and colored. The roots are already showing and it looks like it needs another cut so that doesn't even count.

What is this worry about wrinkles? I figure we are on vacation. We all had to cram clothes into suitcases. So what if we are a bit wrinkled. And waxing??? That will be the day that I get anything waxed!

Don't have any green yarn so just look for the frazzled, wrinkled, hairy grandma. Don't drink much but I will definitely have a drink in my hand. Will sure need one by then. Heck, I think I need one now.

I sound like I am flipping out. I'm not crazy, really. Hope I'm not scaring you all! Think I'm scaring myself a bit though...

I am stressed about the Palo reservations. I know they save a bunch of reservations for people to make on the cruise. I just like to do things ahead of time (EXCEPT packing!) I also tried to make a Cabana massage appointment at Castaway Cay as a gift for DH months ago and DCL told me you can only make them on the Cruise. Was anyone else able to reserve the Cabana Massage online.

Note to the mother of the Disney cast member that works at Treasure Ketch- I will make a note of your daughter's name and tell her hello for you. How sweet!! I am sure I will be visiting her the many times my DS and I frequent the shops. banana:

Donna I'm with you... hot wax... tender area... NO THANKS!!! If anyone is close enough to see my "non-waxed" areas they'll have to just deal with it or don't look!! I've never even been curious about waxing any of my body parts!!

I'm goin tomorrow afternoon to get my hair highlighted/cut, doing my last tanning appt. in the morning, gee... I took that day off to pack, guess I'd better finish that all tonight! We're leaving for KC when the kids get out of school... TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!
