Sept 16, 2010, Disney Wonder Bahama Cruise

Well, after months and months of planning... the cruise is finally over We had such an awesome time!! Thanks to everyone for the "goodies" we received in our fish extenders. I really thought more people on board would decorate their doors or have fish extenders.

Can't wait to book our next cruise!!

Hi All,

Thanks for making our 1st cruise totally awesome. My son was so excited when he received a gift in his FE. Everyone had wonderful FE's. I was surprised that more doors weren't decorated also. Everyone commented on our door.

In the Nassua we did the glass bottom boat tour. It was ok....I wouldn't recommend it though. We did a little shopping at the straw market but it was way too hot for us. So we were back onboard by like 3.

In Castaway Cays we had a blast. We swam all day. I was happy we cancelled our snorkle stuff. We had more fun swimming and playing in the sand.

Only regret is that we didn't have time to see the characters. I was so bummed that we didn't see any in their sailor outfits. (especially being Navy Veterans, like my husband and I are) Everytime we saw them we were on our way out. Then at the good bye....I misunderstood the whole thing. The way everyone explained it.....it seemed as though the characters were just going to sing for us. Then I messed up the time and we missed it anyway. Dinner at 5:45 was definitely a bummer. I think that he next time we book one we are going to plan for second seating instead of first.

There was a lot more to do on the ship than I anticipated. By the time we got to the French Quarter all we wanted to do was relax. Who knew that you would need to relax after a cruise.

Overall it was fantastic. We had the best servers on the cruise ship. ;o)
