Sept. 12th cruisers

Just got off the phone with DCL and they said that the Sept.12 cruise will be leaving from Port Canaveral as scheduled.We will go to Nassau all day Monday and stay in Nassau Monday night and leave Tuesday morning and spend the rest of the cruise at sea. She said they are still cleaning up Castaway Cay. She also said that they were not offering any discounts on our cruise. TJHUTCH

BUmmer on the discounts. I am booked for next Thursday's cruise. Man am I worried about Ivan. I live in N.C. and Ivan could come up as far as us. I wish I could get out of it all together the worry has taken all the fun out of the cruise. I have no choice at this point than to wait and see.

Dont you worry about the all the time spent at sea? Ivan can turn and go anywhere it wants. Where in the world could Wonder sail to stay away from high seas?

I think lots of us landlubbers forget how BIG the ocean is. The seas conditions are completely different in the Gulf of Mexico - where Ivan is heading - and EAST of Florida in the Atlantic and the Caribbean near the Bahamas.

The Captains have plenty of notice about where the hurricanes are and keep their distance.
