Ya know, come to think of it, since DD20 moved out the beginning of the month, a LOT of things have disappeared

I admit to "grocery shopping" at my parents' after moving out when they weren't home. Hey, I needed paper towels!

Just in case anyone missed the first post regarding our meet

Hi everyone here is the info on the DIS meet:
3 pm on embarkation day in the atrium around the panio. Please wear your t-shirt or leis, whichever you perfer. Then once everyone has arrived we can gather around the staircase for a group photo. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Is there a specific t-shirt that everyone got? I made DH were a DIS green shirt last time. I think it's landed in the rag bag since.

Sort of. I made this disign and some are wearing t-shirts with this on it, personalized in a few different ways, others will be wearing leis they choose, others come as they are but will be able to FIND the group, because of what some are wearing
If you want to to the t shirt, and would like this personalized with your family name, just let me know (ie: The Jordgubben Family, instead of Cruising the Disney Dream)

Thank you for offering. I’m pretty sure if I were to suggest wearing matching t-shirts (again…we’ve done it before) my husband would divorce me.

You should have seen the look DH gave me the other night when I mentioned that I wanted coordinate our outfits. Not matching, but if he’s wearing navy I’ll wear something blue (or at least a cold color) and put DS in blue as well (looks better in the pictures). From the look on his face you would think I was suggesting matching plaid rompers or something! I'll just have to do it on the sly....

LOL, I get it Only my complainer was my teen son. So in WDW once 5 of us had matching shirts and my teen son had a brown shirt (we had blue) with text on the front that read "I Don't Do Matching Shirts"

Hello All! Sorry for the radio silence, but it's been CRAZY. Condo didn't end up working out, so we got an apartment. Rachel is all moved in and I'll be moving the vast majority of my stuff (of which there is far too much) this weekend. Then it's just a few days before the wedding! I still have way too many errands to run, and the wedding is only 10 days away!

We got our first helping of pixie dust recently, although not for the cruise. I was looking over our travel documents for the WDW part of our stay, and noticed something peculiar. Instead of getting the Standard (or even Garden View) room at the Contemporary that we paid for, apparently they put us in one of the Deluxe Garden Wing rooms! I've decided to call it our Honeymoon Mini-Suite.

I hope all of you have safe and wonderful travels, and if you see us on the boat, say Hi! We'll be the ones with the stupid grins on our face the entire time.

I am so excited I have been packing and repacking suitcases. I cant wait to leave. I would love to get in the car and start driving today. Going out with the girls for pedicures tonight , going to ask for something disney. See you all soon. But not soon enough, lol.

No I don't have a matching minnie yet for that one, but I can redo those Mickey's if you would like me to. I didn't get your pm though about the small change, what can I change for you? (or was that it, the Mickey's?)

If you don't have a matching Minnie I rather stay with that Mickey, so that we could match. The change that I was looking for is removing the "The" on the hernandez family vacation. After seeing it, I prefer it without. Thanks a lot you have been great!

I'm sooo nervous about flying. Are you suppose to chew gum or lick lolipops are something during takeoff to prevent your ears from the pressure???
I would like to attend the meet but all the stores are out of leis, so can I wear beads?
I have a late flight into Orlando but I'll be staying at the Hyatt right there.
My son has developed Gout in his left foot and can't walk to much, can I get a wheel chair on the ship? We are going to Disney for a few days after and I will rent a chair there.
Hope we have great weather and no storms.

We had to change our June 2012 cruise to a December 2012 cruise. We were hoping to take our granddaughter with us next June, but it doesn't look like she will be able to go. DW and I have been wanting to do a Disney Christmas Cruise for the past couple of years so we thought might as well and go for it. We have the December cruise almost paid in full, so that is a good thing. (We did leave a spot open for our granddaughter, if things change.) Hey maybe some if ya'll come come too!!!:woohoo(I'm not paying for your cruises...............you do understand that..........don't you.) Come on.........it would be fun..............a reunion of sorts!!!

Carol, I'm VERY nervous about flying too! For me it's basically the taking off, but even more so, THE LANDING that scares the begeebers out of me. My son says he'll hold my hand and make everything ok (he's only age, bless his heart). Yes Chewing gum is said to be good, so is yawning (which I'll be able to do EASILY since I'll have been up since 3am that day).
Gout, my DH occasionally gets that, started last year for the first time ever and his had one or two episodes since. Yes you'll be able to get a wheel chair if needed, but enquire that of Guest Services now, as I'm not sure exactly where you get one. And you haven't started packing yet? Guess you and threeiscrazy are the brave ones! I'm all but done, just have to find a garment bag. Or not, maybe just lay the nice stuff on top of everything else in the main suitcase?
OH, and as for the meet, wear whatever you want. You don't have to wear anything special. Enough of us are wearing the tshirts and leis that anyone not wearing will be able to identify the group by those who are. The idea of the shirts and leis is to provide some fun as well as make it easy to locate our group at the meet, so no worries, I KNOW you'll find us. Everyone can introduce themselves as they show up. Who will be wearing Lanyards with the clear plastic case on the bottom? If you all think it a good idea I can redo the tshirt graphic into cards for those cases on the lanyards, and make one for each individual with their DIS name on it. Let me know if enough are interested I can do that pretty quickly, then you just have to print it off.

I havent packed yet either Carol! Have stuff on the spare bed tho! Judy...like the idea of the name tag for the laynard! I would like to have a tag.....Sue Reynolds with my dis name AAFDMOM not sure how you want to do it...which ever way is fine....

I'll get the text changed on the graphics and yes I can do a mater disign, and I'll get some lanyard tags made up, all tomorrow evening. The tags will be vertical layout not horizontal, or perhaps I'll make both as I think the CC lanyards are horizontal. Yes, I'll make both and that way people can just take the one they need Off for the day now, everyone have a good one!!
