Oh this is so exciting! Just think! All this modern technology is so cool! My daughters are so excited to meet new friends! I sang in the mid 80's. Terrific time in my life. But being a mommy and wife is wonderful too~!

If they want to "chat" before the cruise, my DD does not do facebook but there are other safe options. Do they do Disney's Toontown or any other online multi-player game like that? Plus once you get 10 post you can use the private message feature on disboards.

My daughter (Dani) is 15 as well, and if your interested in introducing them through Facebook (I too monitor my daughters account let me know (through PM ) your daughters link and I will share it with my daughter and they can chat before they board and maybe already start building a friendship

Our party consists of:
me, DH, DS (14mos at time of cruise), my mom and dad.

We're super excited about this cruise especially because it's my parents' (and son's) first cruise! They are all about WDW so we're pretty sure they are going to love it. I'm trying to strike a balance between telling them enough to get them excited and not telling them too much so they still enjoy discoverying things for themselves.

I'm looking foward to spending time with my family and telling myself that my son is going to have a blast in It's a Small World so I feel less guilty about booking him there every night between 6 and 8 while we're at dinner.

Looking forward to talking to all of you as we count down!

I did book Remy for the Nassau day! There is availability for Remy as of today however, Palo brunch wasn't available when I made our reservations at the 90 day mark I booked Palo dinner instead.

Do you hold Remy or Palo with a credit card guarantee? This is our first time sailing on DCL and I don't know the ins and outs of, well, anything!

No Problem, you don't need to use your credit card to hold your excursions or dinner reservations, they will charge them on your credit card at the very end of your cruise.

Good Morning Everyone, Just wanted to tell you all that I ran into a friend at our company picnic yesterday and she had just gotten back from a cruise on the Dream with her DH and grandkids. She said they had a great time, no complaints. They arrived at port at 12 pm, and only had a short wait to get on the ship, no problem. I am relieved to hear that. She said this was her first cruise and she can't wait to go on another one with Disney. Her sister was trying to talk her into going on another cruiseline that was cheaper and she said she didn't think she could chance giving up the great service and experience they had with Disney. I told her she has me so excited to be going on the Dream in Sept!
Also, the grandkids 4&6 told me what a great time they had at the dolphin swim.

It's really great to hear wonderful reports lately from those coming off the Dream. I try to ignore the negative reports, realizing they are an individual experience, but GREAT reports puts me in a "Just can't wait" kinda mood!!

Sorry I haven't been on for a while gang. Had major computer problems with this here brand new computer!!! Thought I was going to have to put my foot thru the screen. But thankfully DW calmed me down and I called Dell for some much needed help. We are back up and running now!!!

We have a Palo Brunch thanks to Judy! Thank you Judy for getting us the Palo Brunch. This will be DW's and my first brunch at Palo.........so looking forward to it. I also got us a Remy's reservation for our second leg of our b2b cruise. So looking forward to that as well!!

Laura7x7 No worries, you can still celebrate your daughters birthday on the ship No problem! Just call Disney or your Travel Agent and let them know and they will make a note on your booking to celebrate this special event!

You should definitely celebrate your DD's birthday on the cruise!! My DD turned 7 on our first cruise. It was very magical. She wanted to turned 13 on a Disney cruise. But we could save so much money going two weeks earlier, that I talked her into it by saying we could do a 4 night cruise instead of a 3 night. (Her birthday would be during a 3 night cruise) We will still be celebrating her turning 13 on the cruise. Nice thing about her birthday not actually falling during cruise you can pick any day you want to celebrate. We are picking pirate night since there will be fireworks

The recent reports I've heard are that the gate to concierge have for the most, been left unlocked. However if they ARE locked, the reports are that we can leave gifts with the concierge host and He/She will deliver them for us.
Do we have anyone on the FE list IN Concierge? I have the stateroom numbers for most of you participating but I don't know if any of those are conceirge.

I haven't started making my adult FE gifts yet. I'm waiting till Tim's Birthday party on the 23rd of July to TELL him about the cruise, and then HE can help make these things. I have the FE gifts for the kiddies all here, I just have to package them up.
