Sept. 11, 2011 It's never too early to Dream

Just had to share alittle info with ya'll. Heard from the Social Security office yesterday morning. They received my online application for retiring in January and had a few minor questions I needed to answer. I'm now all set to start drawing my social security next year!!!
I didn't know they worked on Saturdays but the very nice lady I talked too said that they had alot of people retiring, (us baby boomers), which means the need to work Saturdays to help those like me retiring now get their benfits all setup. I'll still do some part-time work, but, I'M RETIRING!!!! DW says she is going to keep working. That means I'll be home alone some days!!!! I'll get into sooooooooooooooo much trouble!!!! This will give me more time to write to ya'll!!!!! (You poor people you!!!!)

i"m soo jealous! I would love to go to the Food and Wine Festival. I have only been to WDW once and it was last year after our Wonder cruise. We only went to MK for one day. I would also love to go at Christmas. Or on a cruise at Christmas. I'm sure that costs major bucks though! Y'all have fun at WDW. Take pics and post them!

I have come to say good bye. I am very sad to say I have canceled out cruise. With the baby, wedding and move we just can't swing it yet. We are working on it but until I know what we can or can't do. I hope we can do something in 2011 but I think it's going to be 2012 after taxes.

Ok, ok, ok Judy you know we all are jealous as all get out about you cruising and we aren't!!!! I hope you and your family have a great time. We will be there with you on board in spirit. So when you turm off the lights at night and your stateroom door opens and then closes, it will be all the rest of us heading down to the clubs for some P....A....R....T....Y...'N!!!! Party, party, party!!!!!

Pixiedustmom, so sorry to hear you have to cancel. Hopefully things will all fall together for you and your family and you will still be able to go. All of us will keep our fingers crossed for you.

We made it back today from our WDW trip. Had a great time............can't wait to do it again. We are thinking about going over around Christmas time and hitting alot of the resorts and take some photo's of how the resorts are decorated for Christmas. We did that a few years ago and DW and I had alot of fun traveling around to the different resorts. If we do I'll post some of the photo's.

Again Judy, have fun on your cruise. May the wind be at your back and you have smooth seas under your feet.

Well Adios everyone! Tomorrow is THE DAY!! Packing the van up today, and hit the road first thing tomorrow morning! I've got a horrible cold right now, and feel like crap, BUT I'd rather feel like crap in the Caribbean any day, other than here (it actually SNOWED here yesterday). Didn't stay on the ground though, but wow, the temps have really dropped!!

Hello From ORLANDO!!!! We're here, and having a BLAST!! BIG NEWS!!
DS7 Learned to swim for the very first time, unassisted here in Orlando TODAY!! At the hotel pool, after being encouraged to try out the snorkeling gear I got him earlier this past summer, he just suddenly started to float while having his face in the water and breathing through the snorkel tube! Once he realized he was floating, he kicked his legs, and made beg strokes with his arms, and WOW, he WAS SO PROUD of himself!!! I feel like I did when he took his very first steps! Just had to share this, and here's his video of this very memorable Magical Event:

Tomorrow, Magic Kingdom!! Friday, we'll head to Country Inn & Suites in Cape Canaveral, and then on Saturday, we'll be boarding the Magic for the very 1st time!! Oh, and the surprise for the kids was great. I didn't get the boistrous show I wanted, they were both very shy, as we had a fan club waiting for us at the reveal, but they are both thrilled to bits even if they couldn't show it at the reveal!

Judy I watched your movie of your son swimming. That is FANTASIC!!! I remember last year when Emily our granddaughter took off swimming by herself in our pool. But unlike you I didn't have my camera with me to record that magic moment. That is something you will cherish the rest of your life!!! You and your family have to be sooooooooooooooo excited about your cruise. Have a great time, take some pictures you wouldn't mind sharing with us, who so much want to be on that cruise with you!!!!

I have it on good authority that ya'll need to tune in next Friday November 5 for Good Morning America's show for a special preview of the AquaDuck on the Disney Dream!!! I on the other hand will be stuck here at work..........sooooooooooooooooooo I'm going to hit record on the ol' DVR so I can watch it too!!!!
