Welcome and so glad you didn't have to cancel.

Just booked myself (solo) in one of the new-category-discounted-guarantee Oceanview cabins.

I sailed the EBTA last year and look forward to seeing more of Madeira and then the Eastern Caribbean part of our cruise, especially Tortola.

Hi Lynne
We cruised with you in 2008 .... Halloween on the High Seas !!! Great to see you on board for the WBTA. We did it last year and loved it so much we're doing it again !!

DH helped me with the pictures so here they are.

This is the dress I had to remodel for DD. The skirt was ripped and too short so I sewed a new skirt.

Here is my FE. I still need to put on our names yet, but I'm just going to use 3D fabric paint.

Welcome to all those new cruisers!:woohoo:

You are so clever. Your DD's dress looks lovely.

I have my youngest DD's Snow White dress hanging in the wardrobe. Even though she got it when she was about 5 (or younger) she's 18 in a few weeks. I can't bring myself to part with it. It's a short one and she's ripped the netting underneath. I can still picture her running around in it.

Those are Awesome!! :thumbsup2 My mom used to make all of my dresses growing up, and I keep trying to coerce her into making something for this cruise. Unfortunately they are inbetween homes until their new home is finished with construction... and I don't think she has a clue where her sewing machine is at this point!

Great job on both the FE & dress. :thumbsup2

I don't think MNSSHP dates will be released until Octobers hours are release at end of this month, so maybe early-mid April?

You can work out which dates the party will be on in September though. Here is a link to September park hours: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/hours/sep11.cfm?requesttimeout=1000

On the days when MK shuts at 7pm - that will be when MNSSHP is. :thumbsup2 Although that is not 100% guaranteed, it is unlikely to change.

I am so upset as it looks like we will miss it, we only have 3 nights in WDW after the cruise. :sad2:

Well, Poo. :headache: I had gotten excited seeing last year's calendar, as MNSSHP was on Thurs/Sat/Tues nights during that timeframe. Friday just throws it out of whack. We are already going to KSC (we hope)... hmmm.... Curt is off through Wednesday... hmmm...

I know! I am really fed up about it as I love MNSSHP but I can't change our flight back to the UK so we will miss it! :sad1:

Welcome aboard Lynne!! We are Noel and John and are repeating the last years WBTA making it our 5th DCL cruise. I will also being doing lanyards and pins so let me know if you are interested. Lanyards are free but any contributions to the lanyard fund are always welcome. Pins will be approximately 4.5 Euros per pin and will be paid on Paypal.

If you are interested in touring Madeira, you may want to join our Madeira tour. I planned one last year for 101 persons and it was wonderful!!

Tortola was really a lovely island as well. We are planning on doing the sail that one of the DISers are planning.

I really need to get busy and do a new welcome wagon post!!

Can someone tell me if i book this cruise when i must pay it? So we can changes it before pay time if i don't get free.

Connie
\

Thank you, then i have 2 months to get free from my boss, or book a other cruise.

i have already booked a cruise for August 2012 and what to change it to the TA so, i get the good deal.

Connie

Connie, we have to pay by May 13 as well. John and I would love to see you Patrick again!!

Wow, you guys sure do talk alot! Isn't there anybody that has a bit of a love for recapping? We actually did a weekly recap on a previous roll call. Started out of some kidding around, but it worked like a charm for everybody that didn't have the option to be on the DIS 24/7 and thus miss like most of the action. :rotfl2:

All of the newbees;welcome aboard! Great to read about all those quite youngsters and more and more solo travellers coming along. :thumbsup2

As far as dining goes; they've changed it because of me. No really, seriously. My current schedule means I'm having dinner around 5.45pm. DCL must have decided to change it all around. Just kidding obviously, ;) but I agree with what has been said before; early dining might be some minutes early but late is WAY to late. I hate going to sleep after just having some nice food or having the feeling the "option to action" has more or less died for the day. I found early dining really does suit me, still enough time to play afterwards if I'ld want to, or do whatever.

Those on early dining looking to link up; feel free to join me, but be forwarned. My nick really does says it all. ;)

I'll be replying the PM's from those that have signed up for the candy swap and haven't had a reply yet. So if you don't see a PM in about an hours time from now, please give me a yell to remind me that I should've included you. Definately do not want to overlook anybody.

And as I know this is one of the few boards that will have folks on it that would understand having a wee bit of a love for certain themes, I'm posting a quicky pic of a "It's not easy being green says Kermie" pie I made recently. It's only the second pie ever and the first time ever I've done any marsepine scultping, so you'll guys have to look past all of the beginner flaws and room for improvement (anxiously awaiting the arrival of some much needed tools.....). Anyway, here we go;

Welcome Sandy and Tony. We are Noel and John and this will be our 5th DCL cruise. We did last years WBTA and I am again organizing another tour of Madeira if you are interested. We had a total of 101 persons in about 9 vans including children. Some vans were adults only and some vans had whole families.

I will also doing lanyards and pins so let me know if you are interested. Lanyards are free but any contributions to the lanyard fund are always welcome. Pins will be approximately 4.5 Euros per pin and will be paid on Paypal.

As you can see from my sig, my DH and I are also form the SF Bay area. I hope we can do a pre cruise meet with all those from our area. We did one last year before the 2010 WBTA and it such fun!!

WOW !!! Amazing and really cute !! Did it taste as good as it looks. Funny that you call this a pie when we in the UK would call it a cake :thumbsup2 What was the filling ???
