I am ready to go tomorrow!
We leave for Disneyworld tomorrow but don't fly out until Thursday. Safe travels Claire - I have your Tangled cd packed and ready to deliver!
it's a goldmine of information, which is much needed if I'm to arrive at all the events planned.... Thank You Not that anyone needs to know this, but I just got both of my bags packed. I walked downstairs and THEN printed out the list to make sure I packed everything I planned to. Only one thing was missing...

I have been trying to catch up on afew things at home, so DD and DS don't strave, really I don't know why I'm worrying about it, at 17 and 22 they should be able to look after themselves. I suppose my main worry is if they can co-exist together... DS can be a bit bossy.
With people drifting off on holiday now, I hope you all a safe journey. So wishing we didn't have to wait until saturday.... but sadly we do
Well it's something you would never forget to pack twice !!! could have been interesting..... but saved by the list
My list was written in different places when I remembered things, still managed to forget my nightwear... I have been semi-packed for a few days now, but I must finish off, but I have the feeling that all the extra little things will push me over my limit

With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit
You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat

Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes
But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.
But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

Thanks for the kind words Sarah!! Just got an email from Sue Kraft. Going to have dinner with her and the gang when we disembark on Sept 24!!
Well hubby is finally home, just weighed the cases and all three are just the right weight so i'm relieved I don't have to do anymore last minute swapping stuff around.
I don't know if i'll be back on in the morning as I have a few last minute errands to run before we take the dogs to my parents then head to the airport.....so i'll say good bye now & i'll see you all soon!!!!!

Well hubby is finally home, just weighed the cases and all three are just the right weight so i'm relieved I don't have to do anymore last minute swapping stuff around.
I don't know if i'll be back on in the morning as I have a few last minute errands to run before we take the dogs to my parents then head to the airport.....so i'll say good bye now & i'll see you all soon!!!!!

We would have loved to have come but we are headed straight to St Augustine as we have a hotel booked for 2 nights. On the positive side we are hoping to meet up with Michael and Michele Woodman again. We will miss seeing Sue, Glenn and family again though

Safe travels Claire and Lee .... and great news on the bags. I am struggling to fit everything in .. not so much the weight but the size. We are almost full but haven't got my formals and semi formals in, or Tony's tux, shirts and pants. Shoes will be a struggle too. Some things are not going to make it
Don't talk to me about packing weight allowances :-(
20 Kg sounds like a lot but OMG all those liquids that were carried on in the past really add up when placed in the hold luggage
I'm struggling - might have to leave something non essential behind LOL but WHAT is non essential
Oh well back to the1 grinder :rolleyes ....and still another day in work to get over
